Very unsanitary and the macaroni and cheese was watered down so much to where it was like a soup and the macaroni noodles were hard, I watched someone flick fry's they dropped off there plate onto the counter back into the dish. I still say you can't beat catfish Cove if you want some delicious fried shrimp! I really preferred the set up in the buffet in the Moore location, But they are gone and that is no longer an option. Went for all you can eat crab legs, I highly recommend this place. Crab legs and butter came out less than 10 minutes of us sitting down, tasted fresh and were hot. We went for the all you can eat buffet and crab legs on Saturday. I like how they bring you the crab legs to your table so you don't have to worry about not getting enough. Service was great. Our waitress checked up on us frequently and would bring us another plate of crab legs promptly. I also liked how they ask you when you arrive if you're having the crab legs buffet or just regular buffet--so if someone in your party doesn't want crab legs, they can just stick with the regular buffet. Since I wanted to make my money's worth on the crab legs, I didn't eat much of the fried foods or sides, so I plan to come back again to just eat those items. A pricey buffet with good food awaits in Yukon. If you crave some fried catfish this is the place for you. A respectable salad bar precedes the fishy goodness. The catfish is flaky and fried perfectly. The many sides vary in quality. I enjoyed the macaroni and cheese and found the fries sufficiently good. The shrimp was good as was the corn fritters. They have a habit of using a batter that is just right for the food. They know how to cook most things just right. Steer clear of the hush puppies they were disappointing. I also advise to skip the fish tacos. The shells were tough and the dis inside not worth the rating. The dessert bar hosted some mediocre cobblers but I found the homemade ice cream worth eating. Today I went to this restaurant and when I walked in the place did not very nice but I ignored it, when I went to the front to pay I told the employee that I was new to the place and asked if the photo on the wall was the menu. He said yes and me and my family were looking forward to the crab but we did not know the made us pay for the catfish buffs part and, when we asked about the crab they said it would be an extra charge. Mean while for the 3 of us it was 56 dollars. When I finally saw the crab menu for kids 4 to 9 it was 32 dollars. We stopped here and I think the place is pretty good. The catfish is prepared in a couple of ways, as are the shrimp. I didn't try the clams, but they looked good. They are a little skimpy on sides, but the warm bread pudding and cobblers, with ice cream, make up for that lack. It was a good meal. Way arrived around 4:15 pm and our experience left us feeling that they were way overpriced (over $20 each discounted for seniors) for a very limited (and I mean SMALL) buffet! The food was warm, not hot. Catfish was cut into squares (not the fillets shown online) and most pieces were too thin (and tough) to enjoy as if they were there on the buffet too long. Fish appeared subpar, poured into a deep frier from the frozen state and honestly not very good at all. CATFISH is what this place is supposed to be known for! Right? You wouldn't have known it yesterday (June 28th). The peel-your-own shrimp were NOT Iced and were at room temperature, indicating that they had not been iced/refrigerated for far too long. The fried clam strips were cold and tough...like rubber, uneatable. And that about summed up the "seafood" on the seafood buffet. The menu on the wall indicates that they serve crab legs (over $50 per person for all you can eat on Fri, Sat, and Sun) OR $19.99 per lb. We can't speak to that since we didn't have any. I will end with the fact that you pay as you enter the restaurant, a tip is suggested with the smallest denomination being 15%, which we added. Two people ran the place (one guy, one girl), there weren't that many customers (and now we know why), and had we not included the tip during the payment process, we wouldn't have left that much for sure! Everything is self-serve and we weren't asked about filling our empty drinks until we were ready to leave. The waitress did fill two to-go cups for us. That was the extent of our service except for asking if everything was okay. So very disappointed. I left 2 stars (could have been better) because we did eat some of what was offered but we will NEVER Return and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! I sampled a little bit of everything. Decent salad bar but again, not a big variety . Crabs were good and they definitely brought them out frequently. The desert was amazing. Homemade ice cream that was creamy enough to be store bought. I was disappointed in the plastic utensils, styrofoam plates, bowls and red solo cups. If they want to choose the cheap way they could at least buy paper table cloths, cups and plates, to reduce on the non-compostable trash. It is comparable in food quality to another OKC place that has all you can eat crab but the price here is about 10 bucks a person more. read more

By the worst fish I've had in Oklahoma, but not the best either. The perks of having an all you can eat buffet mean that you don't get the fish right out of the fryer, which is critical for me. Piping hot fish with just the right amount of crunch and flakey goodness is what you look for in fried catfish. You could probably get that here if you find the perfect time to go, but otherwise it's heat lamp fish that gets a little too overdone sitting under the lights. I ordered the 3 fish filets to go, and I was really happy to get some extra filets thrown in. It was more like 5. The Mac and cheese was recommended by the lady who checked me out. I didn't really like it. I did like the spiral noodles, but the sauce wasn't that great. The okra was pretty good. You can tell that they don't make their own tartar sauce. It's definitely from a big jar in the back. Some easy tweaks would make this place a four or five star joint. Instead of leaving the catfish under the lamps, serve it as requested by patrons. You can still make it unlimited, but it would taste better and less food would be wasted. Switch out the pre purchased side dishes and sauces for homemade ones. The extra work and food costs could be offset by the catfish suggestion. read more
