When I attended the initial consultation, I was amazed by how large, clean, and over-the-top the facility was. The talk lasted 30 minutes, and we spoke for almost one 1hour. They were patient, and we explained all our goals, which we wanted our July to be trained on. Tyler worked with July. We received daily "Pupdates" and report cards that included videos, photos, and an overall update on his improvement. I could tell Tyler cared about July as if he was his doggie. We are so proud and thrilled about the progress July has made. TRULY AMAZING! July's confidence built up, and his personality came through by the end of the 4-week board and train program. Our daily routines involved, what we called, "the prisoner exchange," moving one dog inside and the other outside repeatedly so they did not fight. We believed in Leo and William and knew that they could make each other's lives so much richer with the right support and knowledge. When I called Karma for training options, I was told they had the perfect trainer for our situation and that the trainer could come live with us for ten days. Enter - Kai Whitmore - the man, the myth, the legend. I was very hopeful, but skeptical that my pups could get along, however, Kai got to know each of them individually, understood their strengths and weaknesses, and built up their basic skills that would be helpful when they interacted. Within days, Kai had the boys hanging out together in the backyard and the house. Shortly thereafter, they were playing together, napping together, and bonding over their mutual desire to keep our yard cat-free. Now a mere two weeks later, they are co-existing most of the day, though we do give them breaks because it is still so new. Not only did Kai work his magic with the dogs, but he also provided our family the support and confidence we needed to ensure Leo and William's friendship continues to progress and to keep them both continually learning new skills or sharpening old ones. We know within a matter of weeks, we will be living with both dogs on the same schedule and in the same spaces as we have always wanted. Kai believed in the dogs and believed in us. We couldn't have dreamed of a better result. And despite the length of this review, I can't find the words that truly express the gratitude and admiration I have for Kai as both a dog trainer and human being. If you are fortunate enough to meet Kai, or have the benefit of him helping with your dog training, just start thanking him out the gate to get ahead of it.

I was told narcotics scent training was available but at drop off it was changed to birch wood. Then I have a dog with special needs as he will not eat away from home. I had to BEG for photos and updates knowing my dog wasn't eating for a week. Then they pass the SAME PHOTO and even sent me a screen shot of the edited time stamp to prove that they it wasn't edited. Guess they didn't look hard enough because the date the photo was really taken was on their screen shot. Attached are pics of the two weight pictures (drop off and pick up), a screen shot of the text message exchange and a close up showing the actual time stamp. The biggest thing is that I had a dog with special needs that was away from home not eating and I wasn't getting communication.

Bubba is a 95 pound, seven year old pit bull. After working with Breyers, Bubba is calm on walks, walks directly next to me with no redirection, and has become a perfect gentleman at the vet!
