They have no respect for their customers, I ordered falafel which took time to cook and they said 3 min so I respectfully wait and for some reason the employee who is clearly going through some issues. She picked up my order and started filling the bowl without the meat I ask can you please wait she find care at all and when the falafel got ready she drops one on the floor and then picks it up so I thought she was gonna throw it out, nope she put it in my bowl at this point I was little frustrated but still respectfully I ask her to change that for me. She seemed more annoyed by that and after that she asked what dressing I wanted and I told her she squeezed the shit out the garlic trying to ruin my meal. I really want Cava to succeed. They seem to be struggling with execution, at least at this location. Today I ordered Nasim's Falafel Bowl which includes some of my favorite ingredients. The rice, lentils (customization), and sweet potato were under cooked and tough, even crunchy in places. I hope it's a training problem, not yesterday's leftovers. Unfortunate service and major quality control issues. My friend and I ordered 2 bowls through our respective accounts. Why did her bowl have 5 items were left off the order- 3 dressings, pita and cabbage slaw. They gave me 2 sets of utensils and none for my friend. What is CAVA going to do about this?we called the establishment as we don't want to drive another 20 minutes to go back to the store and no one is picking up. The service was AWFUL! The worker and the manager were unpleasant, unkind and new customer service training! A worker did not acknowledge my presence when standing in line to have my condiments added to my salad. I spoke to her and she mumbled something inaudibly. Once I received my salad, I asked for a pita bread. She placed the pita bread on the counter exposing the bread to touch the counter. (Disregarding sanitation). I asked for another pita. Really! Once I received the second pita bread i proceeded to my seat. The worker shared in my hearing range an inaccurate account that occurred . I turned around and stared, "I did ask that my presence was acknowledged". Shortly another worker asked what happened. I shared my experience with the worker who stated that she was the manager. This was an upsetting experience for me! I love CAVA and that is my go to when grabbing a quick meal. The staff at this location are unfriendly. They were out of many menu items as well as forks. I got an eye roll when asking for things on my bowl. I would have been okay with all of this if the staff was nicer. The negative energy in there is disappointing. read more

I have had cava before and it was amazing and great service this was about until today, I went in the girl that greeted me & helped me was supper nice although the blonde girl was not. I asked if they had more avocado which she said yes and that i had to pay extra for it (I of course said that's fine) she had a little attitude while saying that to me, she didn't even have the decency to even cut the avocado. If I'm paying for a 15 dollar bowl the minimum I ask is for a little respect and things to be made correctly. I work also in the food industry & retail I understand the employees might be having a day off but I am also very disappointed on the situation. I am giving it two starts because the food at the end of the day was amazing and the girl that greeted me was really nice and helped me pick out what to get. Be prepared to wait! Took twenty minutes to get served with only two people ahead of me. People were also waiting on to go orders which all but one employee were working to fill. Most people in line just left due to the time waste and obvious lack of care towards walk-ins. I'll note it was about 1:40pm, so not lunch rush time. I'd hate to see a peak time service wait. I have only had takeout from this restaurant where I order through the line, not the app. The food is always fresh and delicious and they have never been out of any toppings that I wanted. Cava was so busy tonight and all personnel were doing their best to catch up. A VERY rude customer gave these hard working ladies a very hard time about waiting for her pick up order. The staff never wavered, were respectful and greeted me as the next customer with a cheerful hello what can I get you. Can we say they have the best customer service and food. It's 9p and I am looking for a place to grab a bite and I went over to Cava in Blakeney. I was greeted with high energy by Jermaine and Deundre. They made me not feel bad for coming so late because they were actually open until 10p. The food was fresh and hot which made this girl happy because I despise stale food sitting at the end of the night. Jermaine fixed my food and even gave some great suggestions. As soon as Jermaine finished my bowl Deundre was there to ring me out. It was the best experience I've had at a Cava. So glad I have the Blakeney location so close to our home. A staff member named Sergio was an absolute angel. He was so helpful and kind to me while the customer in front of me was ordering a very complicated order and taking a really long time. I didn't mind the wait, but he was very patient and even assured me that he would be right with me (which felt nice to hear while waiting). When I got to the register, it was to my surprise that he comped my meal, because of my wait time. I wasn't expecting that and it truly made my whole day. Thank you Sergio!!! I'm not going to speak on the food but rather my experience while patronizing this business almost three weeks ago. It was my turn to treat my 3 employees so we chose Cava, what a HUGE mistake. Apparently a male employee was upset about something and he started swearing and having a tantrum, he did not care about customers being present what so ever. This is the worst behavior I've ever seen displayed by an employee. You would've thought that he was five years old. He disappeared for a little while in the back and could be heard arguing with a female employee. He then went outside and I overhead other customers saying he had a large knife or machete threatening another male worker. We had just gotten our food but after hearing that we dumped it and left. I returned yesterday and was beyond shocked to see this young man had not lost his job. I turned around and left. Not willing to witness what could possibly happen next. I either pick up or have delivery from restaurants for work lunch meetings almost daily. I like to use places that have great food, great customer service, and are convenient. The medical practice I was headed to with the food from Cava is right across the street, in Blakeney. I placed an order at 11:06 am online for 15 salads, and it said it would be ready at 11:30. On the way to pick up the order, I called the store to ask if they have gluten free options. I was going to place a second order. Two of the providers at the office are gluten-free. The person who answered didn't know what was gluten-free on the menu. That's unacceptable. She asked a few people, while I was on hold for over 5 minutes. She came back and said the falafel is gluten-free. She didn't tell me about anything else that's gluten free. I asked if I could make the order over the phone for the 2 gluten-free salads. She said orders can only be placed online. That's unacceptable. I arrived to Cava at 11:30, and it was not ready until 12:10 pm. This was after I repeatedly asked about the food. Around 12, I went up and asked if they could just leave the falafel out, since I was told when I arrived that the falafel still hadn't been cooked and there would be a wait. I ordered 4 salads online that contained falafel. Why wasn't it cooked yet? When I told her to leave it out, she said "Oh, your order is ready, but we couldn't find you." That's ridiculous. I had been waiting over by the window in the restaurant. They had my name and never called it out or put it on the racks where people pick up food. Instead, there were four bags bag sitting in the kitchen that I hadn't noticed because I was typing an email on my phone.  No one apologized except for one woman, Lauren (the cashier). There were 2 other ladies (both had bad attitudes), but I didn't get their names. They seemed like they could care less. Several others had been waiting on food for over 30 min. We were all standing around the to go racks. One guy (who was with Door Dash) asked Lauren why his food still wasn't ready after waiting for 50 additional minutes past the time in which it was supposed to be ready. He was very upset, but Lauren couldn't provide an answer. At least she apologized and said they were understaffed.  Once I got to my meeting and opened up my Lentil salad that was supposed to contain falafel, I realized there was only one falafel in the entire salad. That's unacceptable.  I know everyone is understaffed, but just close down the business if this is the best they can do. Just shut down and operate the other locations. The Metropolitan location seems to operate much better. The staff needs customer service training. I realize it's hard to keep staff when they get paid so little, but just shut it down. I will not ever use Cava again for a lunch meeting. I typically have a lunch meeting daily, so it's sad that I cannot have Cava in my rotation. read more

Ordered my food online, big mistake. Got there at the pick up line and waited 25 minutes for my food after being asked by two people the name on the order. It looked like there was only a few people working during lunch (I understand everyone's over staffed) but turn off your online orders then. As I was standing there multiple food delivery people explained that it's always slow. Order from the Providence one to save time even if it's a further drive.
