I seriously don't know why I come here anymore. This will be the last time. The service is always so slow. They used to excuse it with "we are having growing pains" and "sorry we are short staffed" but now they have been open for a long time. There are 5 employees working and still somehow at 830 it's taking me over 30 mins to get through the line. Did no one ever care to see how a chipotle works? A Qdoba even? Do they try on purpose to make the part where you pick the toppings as slow as possible? Why are only two people working the line ? You've got someone in the back sipping a smoothie doing absolutely nothing? Someone please figure it out, I cannot fathom how this service is so slow and bad. read more

CAVA is one of my new go-tos! Four stars because I ordered today and they forgot my side pita and I didn't realize til I got home. Also, while I was waiting for them to bring out my order I noticed that a couple of the empty tables were really dirty from previous guests. That being said, I don't have any other negative things to say about CAVA. All the ingredients are super fresh and they definitely don't skimp on anything. Want more of a topping? Just ask and they will give you another scoop. My bowls are always packed to the top when I come here, enough for two meals. This spot is in the new restaurant areas built out on 8th & Colorado. There is street parking which can get tight around lunch time. I got in a bit earlier today at just after 11am and it was pretty dead so I was able to step right up and order some yumminess. I got the lentil avocado bowl with all the suggested fixings and it was a good portion. They fixed it up quickly and I was digging in. It was a good balance of veggies, grains, falafels and dressing. I want to come back and try the other menu items. My only issue was around the drink offerings. I am a diet coke girl all the way and I don't like natural soda blends that are becoming more popular. I wish they had the standard soft drink offerings perhaps in addition the new ones for addicts like me (haha). read more

The store manager Ray or Roy is horrible. They served us uncooked rice and we only realized when we got home. When I called to let him know he was defensive & rude. We drove all the way back and he gave my son a bowl that was less than half full. Then he proceeded to scream at me that he filled it to his standards. I explained that we did pay for a whole bowl and my son was not able to eat any of his first bowl because he mixed it before eating it and it was full of hard inedible uncooked rice. He continued to scream at me and defend that he only has to fill to his standards. I asked him several times to stop screaming. It was the worst wildest experience I have ever had. He never even apologized at all when we don't even live close and I had to make 2 trips there & back to replace their mistake. I asked if I could please know the name of the store manager and he refused to give it to me. We love cava but you really need to get rid of this manager. read more

Cava was a delicious "healthier" lunch option. I was in the area and wanted something healthier, quick, and with outdoor seating. Cava delivered all 3. It's similar to Garbanzo but with a more streamlined menu like chipotle. So definitely fast casual. They have a few pre made menu options and then you can build your own. I tried the tahini Caesar and my husband got the lamb nachos. We were both very impressed with the giant portions as well as the fresh ingredients. Manager "Ms Tips" was wasted beyond belief yesterday working here. Couldn't even stand up. She made me repeat my number no less than 15 times then I had to punch it in myself. At checkout she grabbed my hand with her food gloves on and said "I drank too much over at the korean chicken place". You could tell the employees didn't even know what to do. Every SINGLE time i've been here its a nightmare. Last two times I came before close and the cash register was already closed and all the food was put away by 9:40 (This happened twice). The last time it was shut down early the staff had to go find "ms tips" and I don't know where she was but it took 15 mins for her to get to the register and I stood there. It took a minute for our food but it was so worth it! Cava offers Mediterranean food, but with its own unique flavor. I love Mediterranean food, and I usually get chicken salads with pita. I tried a half and half pita with chicken and meatballs. I'm very picky about my meatballs and these were perfect. Where I would usually get pepperoncinis, I instead got Fresno chilies which gave a nice kick to my meal. The tatziki balanced out the harissa really well. For a quick serve meal, this is absolutely one of my new go to's! read more

Yikes. Love the food but damn. This location is a hot mess. The tables/floors were very dirty. The countertop where you order looked like a tornado ran through it. Let me start by saying I love Cava. It is my go too when I am hungry and craving something healthy and delicious. I will say I usually go to the 9th ave location and do seem to like that one better. They were a bit sparse with the chicken and sauces here. I got my garlic sauce and Skhug on the side so it didn't get soggy and the little to go cup was barely half way full. The chicken was also meh; I think that's maybe why they covered the bowl with lettuce so you couldn't see what was in there lol. Either way Cava will continue to remain a staple in my life however I will probably just go to the other location. read more

I went to cava yesterday for the second time. I was helped by malachi who was amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure I requested and went to the back to grab things that they didn't have. Which was a difference from the first time around where they would say they were out but as I moved down the line they brought more dips out.
