I came in around 1:20, was greeted and gentleman took my order for dine out to go. He said to give him 10 minutes. I sat patiently reading the reviews until 2:00pm when he brought me my food to go. At this point I almost felt sick. I was hungry an hour ago. The reviews were mostly positive so I was eager to try it tho I wasn't well. I order a combination plate with fries, soup & hummus. I got a combination plate with rice, soup & hummus. The soup was aight. 6/10.... The gyro was ok. 7/10.... The chicken schwarma wasn't flavorful at all. 4/10.... I got a smidge of hummus and sauce to help get the meat down. The rice was ok. 4/10... Overall for 40 minute wait and $23. I won't be back. I could have drove to Dallas and ate, and gotten what I ordered and been satisfied. With so many great food options around I'm very surprised they have been for as far back as the reviews go. I initially declined, but he smiled and said he'd only pour me half a cup. That small act of kindness and hospitality genuinely sold me on this place. The restaurant was clean, quiet, welcoming, and smelled incredible. And yes, absolutely try the tea. It was a custom Earl Grey blend made specifically for them, and it was fantastic. When I got home, I was surprised by how generous the portions were for the price. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully balanced. The spices were used perfectly, the produce tasted fresh, and the food even held its temperature well by the time I got home.
