We have given this location several tries and it's been horrible. The first time they switched our online orders up with another customers and even when they tried to make it right, the food came out with hardly any of the toppings ordered. I felt bad because they scolded the wrong employee for the error. This time we came home with our online order and there was hardly any lettuce and no dressing; I ordered a SALAD with dressing . It literally is a "you had one job" situation. The employees seemed to not take any pride in their work. How is this place still up and running? read more

I ordered an online order around noon and went to pick it up. Little did I realize the app assigned my pickup time for almost 1.5 hours later. When I went to pick it up the older grey haired gentleman let me know that my food would not be ready until my assigned time. I waited for about 30 minutes because I did not realize I was assigned a time- my mistake. I waited patiently until the there was no one in line any longer I went to the area where walk ins go... When I asked if I could go to the end of the line and go through like a walk in customer. He told me I would be double charged. I said no I'm not... you just don't charge me at the register. He went to the back kitchen and made my bowl instead of in front of me. Then handed it to me and scolded me that I needed to pay closer attention. Wow! So many opportunities to do some good customer service here Cava... how about go to the end of the line, can we give you a drink while you wait? ( I ordered a drink with my order- they did not give it to me until I left) but to reprimand when I left... unbelievable. I threw my food in the garbage as I don't trust what he did to it back in the kitchen instead of prepping it in front of me. I love the Cava at Legacy but this one in Frisco is not equal. I ordered today and they didn't give me my double red pepper hummus, they didn't put my sauce on the side so by the time it was delivered e everything was soggy. Also the bowl wasn't as full as it usually is. It looked rushed. I won't be ordering from the Frisco store again. read more

I was so excited for this to open and our initial experiences were great, but unfortunately every visit since has gone consistently downhill. Today will be my last visit. My pick up order promised at 1:15 was not ready until 1:46. It was missing items, rice was undercooked and mostly inedible, pita was hard and stale. Came here for the soft opening. The line was quick and all the staff was very friendly and helpful with item selections. I got a salad and it was delicious. Lots of flavors. My kids got pita sandwiches and loved them. Fun drink choices too. We will definitely be back soon. read more

I am a huge fan of Cava HOWEVER, this particular location has unfortunately been really inconsistent. It seems like the staff is biding their time to leave, inconsiderate of the long line (chatting with one another as customers wait), chatting while looking down at the food they're preparing, preparing food with no gloves and often times just straight up rude. I've seen a steady decline in the evening shifts professionalism -- just an all-around novice attitude from a mostly immature staff with no management. I've never left a review on Yelp before but felt motivated enough to make this one because the the tasty food doesn't supersede the bogus experience. No stars. read more

We just ate here during their soft open. The food is awesome! I had the Lentil Avocado bowl with garlic sauce. My meal came with falafel. Some of the best falafel I've tasted. My family had the pita sandwich, and Harissa Bowl. Everyone loved their meals. You can tell all of the ingredients are very fresh. read more

I had a great experience with a pick up order from Ray in the afternoon. So I thought id order again for dinner l. However, my order wasn't even made and 20 mins had gone bye then I was told I'd have to wait another 7 mins. I'm already late because I have to work - rude worker says that I'd have to call customer service for a refund and refused. Honestly the whol night crew today was just ghetto and lazy. I'll never come back here. If a person orders a pick up order - it's because it's made ahead for pick up. Otherwise I'd stand in line like everyone else. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I ate at Cava for the first time for lunch today. I went to the Frisco location. The service was absolutely terrible. I encountered three girls in the serving line. None of them were friendly or acted like they care anything about customer service at all. I ordered the Chicken/Avocado pita, only to be informed they were out of avocado once half my order was made and it was too late to change my order. They didn't offer to change my order for me. Of course they still charged me over $13. Half of the tables in the dining room had trash and food all over them with no one making an effort to clean anything. I needed a fork and told the girl at the register they were out of forks. I was told to "hold on" and then she went and helped another customer, leaving me waiting and wondering if she even cared. The food did taste good even without the avocado I paid for, but the service is horrible. I didn't see a manager anywhere. read more

Food is decent but wait time is ridiculous. I have ordered "to go" three times. For 2 out of 3 times, the food was ready 30-45 minutes after the promised time. Employee appeared to be doing their best but were not apologetic about the wait time at all. For the last order, I waited 45 minutes. When he handed me the order, I checked it before I left. I ordered a wrap and it was not included. i then walked to the front and questioned him and he said that they ran out and wasn't going to tell me. i know that labor is short but they must be better than this if they want to survive. read more

I'll keep it short and direct. With the right service and care for the food, this place can be delicious and very healthy. The problem is the owners often have the restaurant understaffed with mostly young kids that don't know what they're doing, but I don't fault them because they're learning. The last few times I've gone in here I spent over a half hour waiting in a line of maybe only 10 people, they're often out of ingredients and sometimes the meat is burnt. I've been the restaurant industry since 1980. I eat everything and am never afraid of something new. I went to Cava today for the first time. It was the worst meal I've ever had. I ordered the lemon chicken bowl. Assembled on a base of pita. Filled with a variety of ingredients I liked. What I got was a mush of soggy unidentifiable stuff-All covered in some kind of liquid 2-3" deep on top of the soggiest pita bread that couldn't even be cut by a knife. It was a bitter, slimy way too lemony soup. Never go-there. I won't ever again! read more

5 people behind the counter, all gossiping and making jokes and not helping. Counter a total mess. All the tables are dirty, only could find one that didn't have food all over it. I've been here many times and I'm giving it 3 stars for the food ONLY. The food is always consistent in being amazing - if they have what you want. This location is constantly out of things, the food counter stays looking like they just had a food fight, everyone in line seems to be wondering what the heck is going on, and you can see the stress on the employees faces. I feel kind of sorry for the kids working here because I do think they're trying their best but whoever is managing this location is doing an awful job. Love Cava but this has to be the saddest location out there. I was charged over $20 for one bowl due to a misunderstanding on their part. Asked for half chicken half lamb, received a reasonable half portion of chicken and 3 strands of lamb as the server tried to scrape the clearly empty bin for remnants of lamb. When I saw the bin get refilled with lamb I asked the server for an *actual* half serving of lamb. The manager claimed it was the normal half portion. I said charge me for double meat and give me one more half portion for lamb. The server dumps an absurd amount of lamb on the bowl (easily 10 times the supposed half-portion) and basically charged me for 2 bowls. Great food, but incompetent managing of this location. read more

When they actually have food to pick from it is good. They are always out of something and usually more than one thing. Seems ridiculous to me. It is like that all hours of service here. I have been multiple times now and still not impressed. I will not return to this location due to the lack of cleanliness and customer service. I understand young adults might not be experienced but they should be trained. The eye rolls and bad attitudes are not necessary. Seems like they are constant confused and overwhelmed. Not sure what is going on with the Frisco Cava Location but management needs to pay closer attention to this location. It has now been 3 times that I go and they either don't have falafel, avocado or something else. A restaurant with this amount of traffic should by now be able to keep up with its demand.
