Partner and I came tonight for a date night and had a pleasant experience. Staff were kind and helpful, though the food took almost 30 min to come out. It was a Friday night with seemingly lots of to go orders though, so less of a big deal. I got the beef plate with the Caesar (an up charge) and rice with the garlic feta sauce and a Mexican coke. The steak was quite good and fills you up more than you think. I really liked both the salad dressing and the sauce I received. The rice itself was nothing particularly special. My partner really liked his hummus but the gyro meat he had was nothing particularly good or amazing. Overall we enjoyed our meals here and would return, though I lean towards going somewhere like Olive Root in the colony for value for money. Note also that it's quite a small place. I work close by so I have been here at least a dozen time and food is always good except for one time. On that day, I ordered to go and found out that the order was missing a protein add-on after I got home. The food was also overcooked and was very dissappointing overall. I called back and the restaurant offered to comp my dish that was missing the add-on on my next visit. Ended up coming back the next day where they made good on the promise, food was also much better as well. I got the Santorini bowl with extra chicken and it was great! My husband got the steak kabobs (double) with spicy harissa sauce and he liked his as well. It's a clean restaurant. Just went to the grand opening of the new Luna grill today in Plano, Tx. Luna grill has always been one of my favorite restaurants for their food and service. Upon arrival the friendly staff greeted myself and my fiance. We ordered the chicken kebob and the koobideh kebob plate with fries and a salad. They also had added a great variety of new sauces that go great with your meal. My personal favorites were the creamy cilantro, Schug, and their Taziki sauce. We also met our favorite general manager Maria who we had met at the Walnut Hill location before and had told us about this new location opening up soon in Plano, Tx and we have been looking forward to it ever since. The place definitely did not disappoint as far as food, service, and overall ambience and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend this location. read more

Wanted and expected to like this place more but there were a number of misses - the ordering was unnecessarily slow, it took too long to get our order, and the food was really not that good. The salads were oddly sour (we are very familiar with Mediterranean food) and we both got different ones, neither of them were enjoyable and neither of us finished ours. The meat for one of ours was at best ok, but not very good. They seemed very disorganized and overwhelmed when we were there, so we will probably give them a try after a few months once they get their act together. Until then, we will continue getting the same level but much better Mediterranean meals at the Taziki's down the road near Lazy Dog, it's always great. read more

First time having Luna Grill and I can confirm it's the best fast food Mediterranean food you can get. What I loved most is you can tell the greens are prepped well and fresher than most places.
