We have frequented other Cava locations and absolutely loved them, but were disappointed by our visit to the Greenwich Cava. We visited mid day on a Sunday and were unable to order falafel and pita crisps as we were told their frying machine was broken. We were surprised to hear this for such a busy time/day of week. Nonetheless, our Cava bowls were delicious as always. We would give the Greenwich location another try due to our love for Cava's flavorful ingredients and tasty dips and dressings. Don't skip the fire roasted corn or pickled onions!

Didn't taste the food yet but the servers attitude was enough not to come here again!

The servers attitude stinks! Didn't even taste the food yet but will not patronize this store again due to workers nasty attitude!

Very Clean, good food and hardworking people. Kay was especially helpful explaining the App, rewards program etc, and very friendly. Much Appreciated.

I think you can go all which ways here. But for all practical purposes, the base for CAVA bowls are Greens, Grains (or both), Pita and a few others- and if you're doing low-carb, swap out the grains. Followed by Dips & Spreads, then Proteins: Chicken, Grilled Meatballs, Braised Lamb or Spicy Lamb Meatballs (oh...there's no oink at all here). Next- pick unlimited Toppings and to top it all off, Dressings- in many nice combinations. With several locations strong, CAVA isn't self-service but, they do set themselves apart from the typical build-your-own salad spots with lots of Greek & Mediterranean ingredients. Large windows give CAVA an airy feel, high ceilings with wood beams and a black, wood slat wall- adding modern plus drama. Service is pleasant as you pull up to CAVA's assembly counter. Home girl made some combination suggestions and I just went with it. Thank you! I didn't want to hold up the line by having a sample of each dressing- so settled on oil and lemon instead- which was good anyway. CAVA has a unique breakdown that I'm digging for Lunch (or anytime) and seems like their formula is working here.

Now that we've been, I can absolutely see why. The ambiance is great. Love the decor and it generally feels like a nice place for a date night or even just a nice night out with friends. The staff is attentive and very nice. But the food. The food was amazing. We started with the Little Mezze with the grilled bread and we also got the char grilled octopus. Both were amazing. We sat and ranked each dish on the little mezze, because it was all fantastic. Complex yet clean flavors in each dish. The eggplant was just a delightful, complex, balanced dish. The grilled octopus was possibly the best octopus I have ever had. The char had a great flavor. It was perfectly tender. We next had the schnitzel and the beet salad with salmon on top. The schnitzel was so crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The salmon was so nicely cooked on top of the salad. We saved room for dessert and had the sundae and the cheesecake and they were completely different and both stupidly good and very unique. This place was overall amazing. Homerun and one of the best dining experiences as of late and a definite must come back.

The main benefit of that being I didn't have to decide what I was having for lunch. This was the choice. I like mediterranean because it tends to be slightly healthier than some other options. This place is right up my alley because of the vegetarian leaning options on the menu, which is another benefit of this particular cuisine. Having said that, there were quite a few choices for me. They have bowls, salads, soup, sandwiches, platters, I mean, it's endless. I was planning on taco bell for dinner so had to compensate somewhat with lunch and decided to build a salad. I did greens, their mix of rice and lentils, cauliflower, cabbage, pickles, hummus, hot sauce. I am not a big fan of spring mix and I wonder if maybe something hot caused the greens to wilt but they were way too wilty for me. That was not particularly appetizing but everything else was really tasty. The hummus, especially, holy shit. I could eat that with a spoon. Two of my colleagues got the jersualem falafel sandwich and raved about it. I tried some of their fries and that seasoning is a game changer. I also got the garlic dip (to eat at home, later, don't worry). I couldn't tell you what that substance is and idk if I even want to know but it is whipped lusciousness. I am also genuinely curious to know how much garlic they put in there because it literally BURNS. No concern for vampires for quite a while. Very tasty, would definitely order again.

The recent expansion into the neighboring space really opened things up with plenty of seating without sacrificing energy. Noise level was balanced, lively but still easy to talk. Free parking lot with ample spaces makes it effortless. We started with a Horiatiki salad and their signature triangles of warm pita with Greek olives -- a simple touch they consistently get right. I ordered the Meraki Passion Platter, while my wife had the butterflied branzino with Patates Tiganites. The homemade round fries are addictive - thin fries with a crisp outside. Portions are generous without being excessive. Service was polished and familiar; we've seen many of the same staff over the years, which says a lot. Dishes were cleared promptly and everything felt well-paced. Extremely clean throughout. This place continues to deliver. We highly recommended.

We ordered from here for dinner recently…read more I wanted something light (recovering from Taco Bell the night before) so I went with a greek salad. The dressing was so light and refreshing. I love how they really sliced the lettuce finely, I hate shoveling a tree branch in my mouth when I'm eating a salad. I also felt like the ingredients were super fresh. I do need to stop ordering tomatoes, I don't like them and never will. That feta cheese? Holy shit. Where do Greek places get feta cheese? it's like a different breed than anything I've ever bought for myself. I also ordered hummus and I'm not sure whether the hummus came with pita or the salad but they provided a literal dinner portion of food portion-size of pre-sliced pita. Some of it was a lil soggy, I wonder if they warmed it up and it was steaming in there? Not sure what else could have occurred there but it crisped up nicely in the oven. The hummus was also delicious. It was what I would expect from a Mediterranean place. GF ordered some sardine entree business, greens, and mashed potatoes. "It was good" she says. I snuck a forkful of mashed potatoes last night and they were very good. I'm a fan of this place.

The biggest issue is online ordering and fulfillment. I almost always order online for convenience, but on most occasions my order is not prepared until I physically arrive and ask for an update. At that point, the convenience of ordering online completely disappears. You are honestly better off ordering in person. My most recent experience, which was today, really highlighted the problem. I placed my online order around 11:50 AM and did not receive my food until 12:50 PM. Another ongoing issue is the inconsistency with double protein orders. I have ordered often enough to notice that this is a recurring problem and something that clearly needs attention. I am sharing this mainly to bring awareness to others. If you are ordering online for pickup, be prepared for a gamble. If possible, just order when you arrive. For delivery orders, the drivers are not at fault. They are dealing with the same issue, where orders do not seem to be addressed until someone asks for an update.
