I'd call this place the Mediterranean version of Chipotle without Chipotle's stinginess. You make your own bowl here, choosing from a variety of bases (saffron rice, regular rice, romaine, greens blend, etc). Then you choose a variety of dips (red pepper hummus, roasted eggplant) and proteins (lamb, honey chicken, grilled chicken, falafel, etc). Then toppings and sauces. And of course, get the pita on the side. I appreciate how much chicken they scoop onto the bowl - it's double what Chipotle puts. They also have a huge selection of toppings and extras that make your bowl fun and flavorful. I've tried many combinations of bowls and the one thing I'd say is that the flavor profile is capped. Like, you know what to expect and it's as good as it gets no matter the combination. Maybe changing the meat will make it 10% better, but overall the flavor profile is pretty standard. Love this place for a post-gym, light meal that won't make your stomach feel terrible. Huge portion too, I always save half. Quality control was the issue. This place has good food, but is only good when you order in person. Ordering for delivery has been terrible each and every time, for whatever reason. I've ordered many many times, different locations, for years and it's always wrong. Recently had a large group order with 9 orders and they messed up the labeling on the bowls, and one wrap was given as a bowl and one bowl was done as a wrap... It was a mess. I love Cava, but not this location. Every single time I order via Postmates or Ubereats, they mess up my order. Every single time, it's been absolute minimum 5 orders I can specifically remember. Cava does nothing to assist and says I must take it on with my third party, however, uber and Postmates do nothing offer refunds anymore (which many are aware of). So I consistently lose a very significant amount of money and they simply offer nothing not even a credit. I understand I order through a third party app, but Cava is responsible for preparing my order. If you guys are low on chicken or out of stock on items, you should cancel the order, or at least sub it for something. Not take the money and not give me what I pay for. I honestly have a bad taste with Cava now due to this and will refrain from supporting this business due to my experiences and lack of care unfortunately. If you go, DO NOT go to this location. I gave them my receipt, my order number, my name and showed them the completed transaction on my phone. They told me they don't see an order for me and are not going to give me my food even though I was charged for it and had a receipt and order number and was at the right location. They were very rude passive and not willing to help stating that it was not their problem. I'm so disappointed I also used my points for a free kids plate. I will never be eating at cava again and I need my money back. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a food place. As you see who ever prepared this order did not fill the bowl. The food didn't even reach the fill line that's designated inside the bowl. This is disappointing. I should receive a partial refund for partial serving of food. Also, I didn't receive all the extras for the bowl. What a disaster. I would have like to received a safety sealed drink.
