Okay so the food is awesome and it's reasonable price BUT they have the worst stuff! I went there three times and honestly am not thinking of going back there because of the negative vibes from their employees. Never saw any of them smile to any customer , talk to you in aggressive way and horrible attitude! Owner , plz fix your employees read more

Tried this place out for the first time yesterday. I love Mediterranean wraps and believe it or not it's hard to find Mediterranean food in Westwood. The hub of amazing Persian food. Think chipotle with a middle eastern flare. You can choose from salad, bowls with rice and salad or pita wraps. I tried a pita wrap with beef meatballs and chicken. They are super accommodating with extra toppings and sauces. I think I tried them all and loved every one. Super yummy! read more

My healthy, yummy and at the same time filling to go place for lunch! They have outside sitting as well. I highly recommend this place specially the Salad bowls! read more

Good spot for lunch in Westwood. This is the Mediterranean version of Chipotle (different owners) and they have a ton of wonderful and flavorful choices! First, you choose your base - greens, grains, pita or a mix. Pro tip: if you get the "greens & grains" it includes a free mini pita. My favorite mix is spinach and lentils. Then you add the meat (veggie options available) and there are so many toppings to choose from. The hummus is super good and I also love the crazy feta - careful, it's spicy! There are also several options for sauces and all of them that I've tried have been really good. Be careful not to go too crazy, the flavors all go together well but if you get too many at once it is a lot going on for your taste buds. They also have a big drink selection. Most of them are a little sweet for my taste but that's just a personal preference. I don't have much of a sweet tooth. There is plenty of seating in the restaurant but it is also a great meal to take to go. If you pay with the app they let you accumulate points to get free meals down the road. read more

I am giving 3 stars because I do like the food but the service was not helpful. I had not been in a Cava for over a year and was unfamiliar with the offering. There was no one in the place and the person serving seemed really bothered that I didn't know the menu items or the offerings. She looked pained at explaining the options. read more

I would have given 5 stars except for that their UBer Eats App and Postmates app there is no option to get dressing on the side!! Dressings on the side should be a standard for to-go orders. Major Ameteurs. read more

By far, the best cava I've ever had!!! Speaking as someone who grew in the Middle East, and frequently ate Mediterranean food, this location does it better than any other. Plus, the employees here are patient and so friendly!!! Daniel and Sarah are my favorite employees and always make the best bowls. read more

This place is one of of my top three go-to's for a quick, healthy and yummy meal in Westwood. Like every review has already mentioned, this place is like a Mediterranean Chipotle. I would go so far as to say that it is well on its way to becoming THE Chipotle of Mediterranean food, as they are already expanding to three more locations in West LA alone. That alone should tell you how awesome Cava Grill is! :D Anyways, much like Chipotle's ordering format, you go down the assembly line and customize your order by picking a base, a protein, up to three dips, and as many veggies/toppings as you want, finishing off with a drizzle of your favorite dressing. Some quick tips: - If you get the greens and grain bowl (imo the best of both worlds bc you get to be healthy-ish while still getting in some carbs heh,) you also get a deliciously warm and FREE side pita... which is of course why I always get the greens and grain bowl LOL. - For protein, the chicken is always a safe, solid choice. Not a huge fan of their meatballs (something about them is a little off...), but their falafels aren't too shabby. You can always get half and half if you can't decide. - Ok for the dips I know they offer you up to three, so to get your money's worth it makes most sense to get all three, but I personally think it tastes better with just ONE dip, because I hate hateee over-sauced food and three is honestly just too much (esp if you add dressing at the end, too.) Your bowl will literally just be a mish mash of different hummuses at that point... My palate is on the lighter side though, so I feel like maybe two for the average person is perf. Faves are the eggplant hummus and tzatziki. Overall, 5 stars because while Cava Grill isn't the most authentic, I don't think it really matters or is even the point, because what Cava does, it does it well. Which is modernized Mediterranean fast food that also happens to be fresh, health and environmental-conscious, decently priced (considering its quality ingredients and huuuge portion sizes,) and deliciously addicting aka somewhere you could prob eat every day without getting sick of it. I know I can! read more

CAVA is literally heaven! Every time I wanna take someone their I tell them that we're going to the middle eastern chipotle! Love the beatball & crazy feta on top of saffron rice!! Their pita chips is also out of this world! If you like middle eastern cuisine, I highly recommend this place read more

I used to come here at least 3 times a month. Its close to campus and super affordable. You get so much food y'all in a bowl. And the staff is super friendly! read more

I love Cava ! Like a lot but after this afternoon I have been left with a sour note... You guys need better management! I felt so disrespected how the manager handled the situation! I talked to the sweet lady Savannah she apologized and tried to put me on hold and she spoke to her manager while I was on "hold " she asked if i can place 16 Bowls over the phone He proceeded to tell her no only 5 bowls and that is it. He let the young lady talk to me instead of him as a manager taking over the situation and talking to me and try to see i can probably work something out ! I've done this multiple times at chipotle and I've had no problem before I don't see why it would be an issue here as well ! As we see COVID-19 has affected many businesses "cava" Should be relieved that I was looking forward to placing a 16 bowl order! But not no more Highly disappointed! I called the 17th of June approximately around 7 o' clock. read more

A great spot in Westwood to grab a balanced meal. The hummus and sauces here really add a lot of flavor to the rice, greens, and chicken. I came here yesterday, and it was a drizzling outside. Thankfully, there were carpets to prevent slipping and to help dry our shoes, but the floor throughout the place was sticky (not the first time). The tables were also sticky with pieces of food both on the table top and the seats. Usually I would be understanding and wipe off the tables myself without complaint... but we went in when they were not that busy... also, there were definitely enough staff to come by and check on 3 tables needing a quick wipe without having to make customers wait. read more

Used to come here all the time and I stopped because we had a few bad experiences last year. I recently revisited and the food is soooo much better and the service is amazing. There's a gentleman named Joe who took my order and he was the nicest and sweetest person. Made my experience there very hospitable thanks to him. I think this a great spot to eat if you're vegan/vegetarian. Will be coming back thanks to the wonderful staff and the food. read more

I was decently surprised by my visit to CAVA. I didn't have high hopes when I saw the dishes are made chipotle-style, but found this style to work well with the Mediterranean food options. The drinks here are really yummy and fresh, too. The restaurant was open when I visited, with plenty of seating. And very clean! The music was a little loud so I wouldn't study here, it's more of a place to go with people or for takeout. I only went because of their promotional coupon for a free bowl when they first opened, and I haven't gone back since. That's not to say I would never go back, but their menu is a little pricy for how casual it is. Unless I was craving something really easy and not totally unhealthy, I'd probably opt for a less expensive fast food restaurant or one of the locally owned places in Westwood instead of this chain. read more

My favorite place to eat lately. The salads are always fresh and the hummus is so good. Definitely recommend getting red pepper and harissa hummus. The pita chips are great as well!! read more

Yummmm. My new favorite lunch. More options freedom than chipoltle with less of the guilt! I got a greens and grains bowl (chose lentils and their supergreens mix). The chicken was impeccable and juicy and they have delicious sides (unlimited for each bowl!!) Garlic cauliflower was mu favoritr. Relatively affordable for a "healthy" lunch option! CAVA - Greens and grains - Mediterranean Near Me - Los Angeles, California

My go-to for dinner almost every day during COVID. The food tastes good, is filling, and is healthy! Love it! I don't know what I'd do without CAVA. read more

Food was good but nothing spectacular. Had a greens & grains bowl with chicken and the seasonal veggies. Was mediocre, maybe it was just what I had ordered. Service was more than disappointing for a place where service isn't needed except for making the bowls. The employees seemed annoyed that it was my first time and I didn't know exactly what I had wanted. Also, they were out of water, napkins, forks and cups at the beverage station and when I asked for a fork the employee was annoyed and kept helping other customers for a few minutes before refilling the forks and whatnot. Water was never refilled and the tables were all super dirty. Overall, OK good & not great experience overall. I'd go back again if I was wanting some kind of Mediterranean bowl for a good price but won't go out of my way to go back. read more

A Chipotle-style, assembly line concept. Staff was so/so friendly and seemed a little annoyed at my indecisiveness. Maybe customer service isn't the job for them. Food was tasty enough that I would have it again. Though if it was between this and Luna Grill, I would choose the latter. Luna Grill is the absolute best. This place is one of those that ask for tipping at payment BEFORE the customer has even had a chance to try the product. It used to be awkward and absolutely hate this practice. How can does that make sense?? Tipping is antiquated anyway. Include wages in the meal total already. read more

Came to this location earlier this week. It was the best food I have ever had. everything tasted so fresh and the honey Harris chicken was amazing. I can say I will for sure be back to cava way better than chipotle. The staff was amazing and really helpful knowing I was so new at this place. read more

I don't come here often, but if I'm in the area this is definitely on the list of places to get a bite. Food is great, especially if you're looking for a "healthy" alternative to what's out there. They have a variety of drinks, some of which change with the season. I hope they open more locations throughout LA. read more

CAVA! Usually this place it great! Don't get me wrong I love this place but the past 2 times I have been there the rice is super hard and non edible! Please be careful of this! I really don't wanna go back a 3rd time and receive this kind of rice! Everything else is great! Love you guys! LOVED THE FOOD! Try the braised lamb it is to die for! read more

Cava never fails!!! The food is always delicious and fresh. I personally love getting half chicken and half falafel -- An amazing portion for the money! The best part about cava is their staff. They are always friendly and courteous. They made my night one time by offering me a free meal! Safe to say I will continue to come here regularly and you should to!! read more

Overpriced for what it is. Mediterranean food seems like a viable idea to be served cafeteria (ok, Chipotle) style, build a bowl of "grain" or "salad" or pita or whatnot as you go along-- but while the hummus and other sauces are good, the salad greens are fresh... much like their Asian brethen down the street, it seems to miss the point. Lukewarm rice or lentils, slightly too burned lamb meatballs (at extra cost!) served tepid, and other "protein" all served warm-ish at best turn what might be a decent meal into a mediocre one. The flavorful, fragrant, skewers of meat just pulled from the grill at a proper Mediterranean place, of which we have so many in this area? Completely absent here. The contemporary decor and the dozen kinds of slightly esoteric soft drinks-- some of which were good, some were just okay-- just can't save the experience. read more

Cava is basically the Mediterranean Chiptole and I'm totally fine with that. This is the perfect example of healthy, affordable and fast food. For $10 you can get a delicious meal full of veggies and protein that is full of flavor. I also like how their website has a nutrition calculator so you can see your grand total, perfect for everyone in LA that's neurotic, myself included. I will definitely return and look forward to the Culver City location opening since Westwood is kinda far for me. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because they seemed understaffed. read more

Delicious amazing Mediterranean food. Completely blown out during UCLA move in week not surprisingly. Special shout out to Madison for running falafel out to our table. Awesome crew and grace under pressure. read more

Food: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Cava is a build your own meal, Mediterranean, fast, casual, healthy meal place. Basically like a Mediterranean chipotle! GREENS + GRAINS ($9.87) - 4/5. Base: Brown rice, power greens. Power greens were mainly cabbage, didn't like it that much. Brown rice was dry and very healthy. I'll probably go with pita next time. Dip & Spread: EGGPLANT RED PEPPER DIP (Roasted baby eggplant, roasted red bell peppers, Greek yogurt and fresh herbs) - a little weird, but not bad. TZATZIKI( Made with only the best imported Greek yogurt, fresh shredded cucumber, and spice) - light and refreshing. ROASTED RED PEPPER HUMMUS (Fresh roasted red peppers pureed with chickpeas, tahini and garlic) - nice strong red pepper flavor. Protein: FALAFEL (Chickpeas / Parsley / Herbs) - 4 pieces, they were quite dry... Toppings: PICKLED ONIONS, TOMATO CUCUMBER SALAD, TOMATO ONION SALAD, SPINACH - loved all of them! Dressing: SRIRACHA GREEK YOGURT - great! GREEN HARISSA - unique and good. read more

4.5 stars. Where Chipotle meets Mediterranean food. Fast casual is in. The concept isn't new, but there's many reasons why you should try Cava Grill. The food is good and the portions are pretty generous. There's plenty of options for your base, protein, toppings and sauces. It may kill an indecisive person, but you can't complain there aren't enough choices. Personally I got the mini pitas and stuffed them so much it was definitely more food than a regular sized pita. I love the feta dip and the mini pita chips are pretty addicting. If the food here gets 4 stars the service bumps it up to 4.5. When we arrived they were a bit understaffed and some of the options weren't ready, but they did their best. The servers were very helpful and knowledgable and what impressed me the most is we came as a large group and they even comped a couple of our items! When incidents arise it brings out the best (or worst) in people and in this case the manager here really stepped up. I hate when people bring their pets inside (no, you're not blind) and a college student had the audacity to come in, not order anything and his dog pooped on the floor. He cleaned some of it up, but didn't alert anyone and left. We were shocked so we told the workers there and almost immediately the manager came running out, asked what happened and apologized. They did nothing wrong, but he quickly cleaned it up before more people saw. He handled it as best as he could so kudos to him. The way we were treated and portions of food will keep me coming back. The staff here is trained well and I hope more people find this hidden gem and support it! read more

I went into the cava and waited in line. I got a kids mini pita with roasted red pepper hummus spread and roasted vegetables as my protein. It was basically just a normal pita cut in half. But it came with a drink and pita chips, so for 6.95 it wasn't a bad deal. It tasted pretty good. I would definitely recommend it if you want a smaller option as the portion sizes at cava can be really big. The new pita is a huge upgrade from what it used to be. The workers looked a little stressed out because it was almost closing time and the music inside was kinda weird, it was party music. But besides that good service, good food, 4/5 read more

I really enjoyed this place for what it was. The line was quick, and there were plenty of options. Overall had a good experience with my friends and I. I recommend the Spicy Lamb Meatball Pita, but the Greek Chicken Pita seems like a great choice as well. read more

This stud is healthy and tastes awesome, always good portions and very quick service and helpful.

The service employee was extremely rude. She heard our order wrong and so we corrected her. She then had to follow up with a comment "what do you want me to do, throw it away". We, of course, were shocked that she would make a comment like that and so I told her "just serve what we order". Food was good but the customer service needs to pay attention to these reviews. Not the first time that I've been to this particular location. Come on! read more

Love love beyond love CAVA! I usually go to the one in the village but today I happened to be in Westwood. It's fresh seasonal vegetables and delicious dips really make this place my new favorite. I highly recommend getting the greens and grains with eggplant+red pepper dip and the lemon herb tahini. Definitely try their juices you won't regret it. My parents are from the Middle East so being able to eat "fast food" that tastes like home is literally like a dream come true. read more

Both times I've been, I've had a great experience. It took me a minute to figure out how to order, but both times my meal has been rewarding. The first time I went I got a falafel bowl, the second time I got a falafel wrap. I prefer the wrap, probably because I'm a carb queen. This is basically a Mediterranean chipotle. It's really clean and they have great vegetarian options. They have an assortment of toppings that oh can choose from to add to your protein and a great array of sauces. I can never choose what combo to get because everything looks amazing. read more
