    Greens and grain bowl
    Mitch S.

Cava always hits. I think the best option is the green and grain bowl which is the perfect combination of rice and lettuce (arugula is my favorite). The honey chicken is my favorite protein to order. And the tzatziki, feta, and hummus are easily the three best dips to include in a bowl. In terms of portion I am always pleased with the size. I think they switched up the pita. You used to get one pita slice that was warm and soft. Now you get 5-6 large pita crisp like chips to dip in the bowl. They were extra salty but good. Not sure if they are extra cost, it did seem a bit pricier than usual. Nonetheless, a solid lunch option.

Sometimes fast casual is the only realistic option for dinner. For that reason I'm overjoyed that McLean has CAVA now! My husband and I both indulged in chicken grain bowls and both devoured them. I love the Mediterranean concept, the spreads and various toppings are delicious and really enhance the dish. We had a great experience, the staff were friendly and the restaurant was very clean. P.S. Don't forget to ask for complimentary pita bread to accompany your bowl!

I came to this location for the very first time tonight right around 6:30pm. My guess is that there were about four other groups of people already seated and enjoying their meal. I decided to maintain my healthy decorum today, so I went for the Greek salad with grilled chicken. This thing included all kinds of wonderful ingredients like humus, kalomato olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions. It took literally seconds for the three employees behind the counter eto prepare a the salad, and soon enough I was seated and eating the way that I should! It tasted wonderful. My only complaint about my visit here tonight was that the air conditioner was blasting freezing cold air, on a day when it wasn't even that cold at all! It was definitely frigid!

Great food but the 5 stars are for the friendly, helpful staff from the start of the order all the way to the smiling cashier at the end.

We would like to share our experience and rate this wonderful restaurant…read more Kazan Restaurant is a truly beautiful place, and from the moment we arrived, we received a warm and genuine welcome from the entire staff. Everyone was smiling, friendly, and extremely patient, which made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. The appetizers and salads were excellent--fresh, healthy, and thoughtfully prepared. The menu selections are well chosen and balanced. The main courses were absolutely delicious, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented, with outstanding quality and variety. The level of professionalism shown by the staff was exceptional. Their smiles never left their faces, and they handled our orders with great care and attention. Usually, in most restaurants, one person is assigned to serve your table, but here we noticed that all team members take turns checking on you and making sure you are fully satisfied. This teamwork truly reflects a high standard of service and hospitality. This atmosphere strongly encourages anyone to visit and enjoy a fine dining experience--whether with family, friends, or colleagues. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for quality food and outstanding service. The experience concluded with a lovely gesture of hospitality: serving delicious baklava and authentic Turkish tea, which was a perfect ending to an already memorable meal. Honestly, I have traveled to Dubai, Egypt, Morocco, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom, and I have not encountered food this delicious, service this professional, and a place this pleasant. It is an excellent venue for inviting loved ones and absolutely worth visiting--you will not be disappointed. Special thanks go to AYHAN for his supervision, professionalism, appreciation for food quality, and close follow-up with the staff to ensure everything runs smoothly. Our sincere thanks also extend to the professional restaurant management. We wish you continued success and prosperity, and we thank all the staff--especially AYHAN--for this outstanding experience. We wish you a wonderful day. Best wishes Tawfiq

I had their Lebneh sandwich which was delicious but pretty light. Not ideal if you're really really hungry. Their matcha was ok. I added simple syrup but I wasn't impressed. The sandwiches are pretty big you can probably share one between two people especially if you want to get a dessert. Beef egg & cheese sandwich - my husband got this one and it's a nice breakfast sandwich it has really nice spices in it which make it different from other breakfast sandwich places. Kafta sandwich - this was perfect for lunch the flavors are really amazing. The baked desserts were hit or miss I'll come back to try some more. I wasn't the biggest fan of the flour used. It was pretty busy on the weekend, but we still managed to find parking and a table. People work on their laptops there so the turn over is slower. The inside is a bit cramped, I did have a little anxiety because there's really no space between you and the person next to you and there's just a small path to walk around. Parking is around back of the building, it has signs up that it's parking for that building only. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

All three of the dips were a generous portion and the bread accompanying them is delicious. The bread was refilled 3 times during the meal. Very, very good. Each of the dips was different and very tasty. The Hummus was smooth and flavorful and the Spinach (served warm) had a garlic flavor. I took a lot of the dips home - the bread was so delicious, I filled up quickly. My friend thought the salad (Salad Alamut) was ok, but the soup (tomato based) was very good. We each had a decaf cappuccino, which were also very good. The service was outstanding. The bread basket was refilled several times and our water glasses were tended to very well. The place was not crowded and we had a leisurely lunch that lasted almost 3 hours. There was no impatience to present us with the bill, and, after we paid, we were still offered refills on water as we lingered for a few more minutes. Excellent service! We felt very welcomed here. The restaurant has a traditional Persian restaurant appearance. It's nice and light, a bit fancy in appearance, but not stuffy.

This establishment seems to be Egyptian owned, as the walls claim that Egyptians created bread, cupcakes and falafel. The service was fine, though the tables could have been cleaner. I appreciate that they allow you to substitute some of the rice portion for lettuce/spring mix although the spring mix was wet. They also offered both spicy and regular options for rice and chicken. I got spicy rice with spicy chicken, and for my toppings I got Mediterranean salad, hummus, and tzaziki. I didn't realize you could also get white sauce, green sauce, etc, so I probably wouldn't get tzaziki and get olives or something else next time. The chicken and rice combo was a bit overly spicy for me and upset my stomach slightly. I'd probably get regular for both the next time. I also got tiramisu which they recommended over all the other "cupcakes" which they claim (via the wall) is Egyptian. The tiramisu was surprisingly good. There was soft music that seems Arabic-speaking. They have fountain drinks as well as bottled beverages. They also include a service charge - it was like $0.42 for me. I don't regret stopping by, but I wish my stomach was more settled. I just came from a restorative yoga class and I was thoroughly at peace.

Fountain drinks, combo options, cups for water, and bottled drinks. You go down the line, say what you want (like every fast casual these days), and end up at the register. Fast operation. Plenty of seating indoors.
