When I say it was good, it was so good it was so good! I discovered Cava in Dallas and finally got to try it in Raleigh and I am so glad. It is literally the Chipotle of Mediterranean and there are so many options. I've been to the CAVA in Cary a few times, and the more I go, the more I like it. I'm glad they have added this location as well. My go-to is the spicy lamb meatballs, which is more expensive, but worth it for me. Their harissa sauce is legit spicy, but excellent for heat-seekers. I typically get a bowl with rice and greens, make sure to include their crazy feta and pita chips, and pile in all the other toppings that meet my fancy for the day. Their curbside pickup during COVID has made it easy to order, and it's really efficient as well. Someone has always picked up my phone call immediately, and my food has come out at the expected time - the wait time has never been long at all. My wife did get an upset stomach after one of our meals here, but after she contacted the store, they apologized and gave her credit for future visits, which she appreciated. read more

Cava is one of my favorite restaurants right now. I love the way the blend the bold Mediterranean flavors in a classic yet modern style. The lamb is always tender and succulent. I always get lamb with red pepper hummus, pickled red onions, corn, tomatoes and olive bowl. I love that I can add some type of green and a brown rice option. The Tzatziki sauce is delicious. The food here on par with any other CAVA I've visited, but 3/4 times I've visited this location the delivery have been a duds. Experiences include, putting an online order in for pickup and getting to the restaurant to then have to wait another 25-30 minutes (along with several others) to get our food. It may have been faster if I had just walked in and ordered in the line but I had already paid for my food online. Most recently, we put in an order for pickup (45 minutes later). Upon arriving to pick up, I was greeted by an employee letting me know that they ran out of a majority of their items and we could not get our food. More so, they could not refund our card. I am usually a big fan of CAVA. But this location totally ruined my experience and trust in the brand. At 7:45pm they ran out of Spicy Lamb Balls. In the toppings the vegetables looked mushy and old. No pita chips and they ran out of sauces. Now this is totally understandable, as they might have had a busy day. But I don't think a brand like CAVA can compromise on cleanliness. There were flies around the kitchen. I had ordered 5 bowls to go and I asked them to remake one bowl as the fly was inside it. The lady making my order was so unclean and disinterested. She did not change her gloves and had sauce and food stuff all around it. In addition she dropped my avocado on the counter and just put it on my food as if it was normal. Luckily that was also the bowl which a fly flew out of so she had to redo it. Now as I am typing this review, I am down with food poisoning. If this gets an worse in the morning I am going to report it. CAVA management should note how poorly this store is managed and run. read more

Great experience. The food is delicious, I went here with a group of girlfriends but it was so good I went back before we left and ordered some to go so my husband could try it too. The staff are very friendly and patient. They explained their menu when we asked questions and took the time to explain what some things were. If we ordered a ready made recipe bowl they took the time to ask if we wanted it exactly as it comes or if we wanted to change anything. The time it takes in line is a bit slow but I contribute some of that to the patience they have in explaining food items to people in line and just being wonderful. The food is pricey, it's healthy so unfortunately that's not uncommon. I highly recommend and I will be back soon! read more

The staff are nice and I like the layout of the restaurant but it's very unclean. The tables inside and outside look like they haven't had a proper scrubbing in months, they're caked in crumbs and sticky and it's always very cold and echoey in the building. read more

I did a pick up order and arrived early, so it was my fault that I had to wait, but one of the workers gave me updates on my order and even a free drink for the wait. The food is generally good and several of the staff are helpful and pleasant (this is the only reason it's getting 2 stars instead of 1) but wow, if you hit it when the Debbie downer staff are on good luck!! It's a mixed bag for me and it truly depends on the staff working. My last 2-3 visits have been very poor and frustrating. I ordered ahead on the app in all cases, arrived 5 mins after app said it would be ready for pickup and on EVERY occasion I had to wait for the order to be made. Worse yet I'm standing at the pickup spot and not a single staff member recognizes me, I wait 5+ mins before inquiring if my order is available, big mistake as always met with a disgruntled snarky facial response and/ or in impolite, "sir we're extremely busy" or words to that affect. Staff look so unhappy and downright miserable at having to be there and don't appear to have any sense of urgency. Disappointed to say this but I will be skipping this location for a while. There were only two employees behind the counter and a line full of customers that they were expeditiously tending to, so for that I can understand the wait. I created my own bowl and each bite I had was tantalizing. They offer a variety of different toppings and though one may shy away from a salad if hungry, the portion size was perfect and the flavor of each topping I had was perfectly bodied. I love Mediterranean food, and I love how customizable my options from Cava are! The ingredients always taste so fresh and the portion sizes are good, I can usually make one bowl last for two meals. I went to this location for lunch today and had such a great experience. The staff is so friendly and efficient, even during lunch rush. I personally have zero complaints for this location. I have to say that originally, I was not a big fan of Cava, but this is my third time returning to the restaurant (not this exact location). I arrived right before the lunchtime rush. I cannot tell you how perfect the timing was. Cava has become really popular, so it is busy quite often. The employee was helpful by allowing me to taste the Harissa Honey Chicken before choosing it as my main protein. It has a little kick to it (), so I am appreciative that I was allowed to try it beforehand and pass. Cava has a very clean, minimalist, slightly moody vibe; but I absolutely love how the sun was allowed to enter through the large windows during my dining. I would have liked to sit outside if they had umbrellas available at the time. Overall, the food taste good (reasonably priced, for what I order) and I look forward to returning in the near future. read more

CAVA is a Mediterranean style DIY spot. I wasn't a fan when I visited them the first time at Cameron Village, but the food options have sure gotten better. I got the grain+green bowl. It starts with a base of mixed greens and grains, and you can top it with rice or quinoa, protein, hummus, and fresh vegetables of your choice. I skipped the falafel and settled for the roasted vegetables and it tasted great! The hummus choices are great as well and the sauces are so flavorful too (highly recommend the harissa one). All bowls come with an accompanying grilled pita. The bowls cost around $10-12 depending on the toppings you get. It's easy to find street parking near the store, especially if you are going to be in and out of the place quickly. read more

being in a beautiful new development in upper scale wake forest I expected it to be clean quiet and delicious, it was NOT when ordering I couldn't hear questions from behind the counter about what I wanted on my pita, and the first person who was to take my order made me wait for the other girl who was at the register and just stood there, it was so loud and people standing on top of me to check out, it was also so messy in the bag when I got home my was hand covered in dressing, I was stressed out leaving and could tell the girl that did make my sandwich was overworked and trying to handle customers as best she could. Ordered food at 1145 to be ready at 12:15 and they're putting up orders that are promised at 12:30 and mine nowhere to be seen. there were two separate orders they seem to have lost both of them. For all their efforts of signs on the floor and closed tables it's clearly just a facade. While in line to order 3 guys entered the line, standing right on top of us, 2 without masks. I asked them to back up. One said he wouldn't because he'd already had the virus. The management did nothing to have them put on masks or respect social distancing. NO ONE likes these regulations or the need for them. But to post signs and then not enforce them on your guests is cowardly. Cava cares more about selling a salad than keeping their customers safe. The lack of action on Cava's part is unfortunate. I'll never visit your restaurants again. I hope corporate knows this is what's acceptable in their restaurants. read more

I have been wanting to try Cava for quite sometime. The food is decent. The honey chicken is seasoned very well. Lots of flavor. That's about all I could say that's positive. They're about $3.00 more expensive than places like BIBIBOP or Chipotle. My chicken bowl was over $15.00. I did not add any avocado or anything special. Rice, corn and slaw. One sauce and chicken. To be fair I did order a small drink. My father ordered a 10.72 pita and was charged 15 and change because he ordered avocado. I know things are inflated.. but four dollars for cado is pretty insane. The cleanliness of the place gets a c- at best. The tables where all disgusting. The floor is incredibly sticky. The checkout area is also pretty gross. I'm definitely thankfully for the touch pay. The staff is down right sad. It seems like all of them hate their jobs and the people that come in. Maybe don't work in service? They all need attitude adjustments. Thankfully this is buffet style there are no servers. Good food for something quick. Don't expect a lot of food. You'll more than likely pay around $13 and be hungry in two hours. read more
