I messed up my order & Ash was fast to offer to help. She was great & got me out the door with what I wanted!

This is a first for me and I'm trying to be healthy so I was excited to try CAVA after viewing photos of the food. My excitement ends there. Customer service is a BIG part of life and especially food. The employees here are not here for it. I almost left when faced with the very first one in the line. I was the only customer in line and told her I'd need a minute bc I had never been before. That annoyed her. She didn't offer any help or suggestions either. It was very uncomfortable. She was just rude. She was ok acting to the lady who was cooking though. The next gal was nice. She had on the prettiest eyeliner and since all I could see was her eyes, I noticed she smiled with them. She offered suggestions and was so helpful. She even chose a dressing for me since I'm not familiar with their offerings. The food is good. I'd like to have it again but would t want to experience the horrible customer service the first person gave me. I'm left conflicted. I'd almost rather have food not as good from people who are nicer. Maybe get rid of the rude girl and hire more like the good one. read more

I'm usually a fan of CAVA and would recommend it to anyone but this location has some serious management issues. On more than a few occasions, they've been out of pretty basic ingredients (like chicken), the meatballs have been burnt to a crisp, and the staff has screwed up my online orders. The last straw was when they gave my DoorDash delivery driver the WRONG ORDER because their receipt printer ran out of ink and I guess the staff was too lazy to fix it, so they just guessed my order and handed it to DoorDash. read more

This is our go-to take out place for fresh great quality and tasting food! It's true, they have had staffing challenges like a lot of other QSRs, the team members who are there works their butts off and keep the doors open! Kudos to them! I have been wanting to try Cava for quite sometime. The food is decent. The honey chicken is seasoned very well. Lots of flavor. That's about all I could say that's positive. They're about $3.00 more expensive than places like BIBIBOP or Chipotle. My chicken bowl was over $15.00. I did not add any avocado or anything special. Rice, corn and slaw. One sauce and chicken. To be fair I did order a small drink. My father ordered a 10.72 pita and was charged 15 and change because he ordered avocado. I know things are inflated.. but four dollars for cado is pretty insane. The cleanliness of the place gets a c- at best. The tables where all disgusting. The floor is incredibly sticky. The checkout area is also pretty gross. I'm definitely thankfully for the touch pay. The staff is down right sad. It seems like all of them hate their jobs and the people that come in. Maybe don't work in service? They all need attitude adjustments. Thankfully this is buffet style there are no servers. Good food for something quick. Don't expect a lot of food. You'll more than likely pay around $13 and be hungry in two hours. read more

I had visited this spot on lunch, today and once again the service was poor. I always order the same dish so I know what it entails . The server poured the wrong dressing over my bowl after she was told which one to add. I noteiced the small food card was not used as in times prior which has the ingredients listed to add to the dish. The cashier responded to the server while I was standing at the cash register without asking me if I wanted another bowl and voiced her statement as if it was a problem . I would have requested another bowl but did not due to my 30 minute lunch break I had to return back to work I will not be visiting again as this is once again another visit with bad service! read more

I will be back! Everything was outstanding. I got the spicy lamb meatball and my wife got a build your own with grilled chicken.

Some of the employees pull their masks below their noses, making them useless. There's a sign on the door that says masks are required, but patrons disregard this, and employees don't enforce it. My curbside pickup order was 15 minutes late. The employee who finally delivered it did not acknowledge that. When I called the phone number listed in the app for curbside pickup, it hung up in the middle of the call. I tried calling back several times, but the number appeared to be disconnected. read more

Very incompetent staff. I stood waiting in line and it took 5 plus minutes for anyone to even acknowledge my presence. Even though there were zero people in the restaurant it took me 10+ minutes to even get my food. The food is decent once you get it, but I'd rather go to torchys right next to it because the service is ten times better. read more

My friend has been raving about this place and I finally had the chance to check it out. To be honest, walking in for the first time was a little overwhelming- there are so many choices. Luckily, the staff were amazing and walked me through each selection. I got a greens and grains bowl with roasted vegetables. The lentils were delicious as were the roasted vegetables. My favorite dip was I think called the fire roasted hummus - it was really good. Wasn't such a fan of the tzatziki, but I'll just skip that next time. I was happy with all the sides I chose. The tomato and onion salad, cabbage slaw, quinoa tabbouleh - all full of flavor and delicious. The serving size was quite large for lunch and would last me two meals. This location is around the corner from my office and I will absolutely be back- especially once it warms up, the outdoor patio looks like a great lunch spot. read more

My first visit to Cava and I am in love. I go to a lot of similiar places when I am in NY. I always whine about how I wish there were more places like it in Raleigh. This comes close. Plenty of choices from healthy options for the carnivore to the vegetarian, and even though who dont quite care what's it it but want to get full without paying an arm and a leg. The decor is sterile and modern; sort of all metal and wood without anything to soften its appearance. But its clean. The other thing that stuck out for me were the unique drinks. I had a cucumber-mint ade and I dunno, it was weird but I couldn't stop drinking it either lol. Oh and big high five on the paper straws. #lovemyplanet I love that the employees were so friendly and helpful! One guy gave me a detailed description of each sauce. Like he knew his sauces okay! I love Cava one of my favorite places to go when I don't have anything in mind. I was a bit disappointed when I asked for Half and Half bowl with mostly rice and heavy on the pickled onions. It's almost as if you have to go in instead of ordering online to get it the way you'd like. I had a spoon full of greens and the average amount of rice. Love this place!! I eat here several nights a week as it is in close proximity to my condo. Amazing food that is healthy with large portion sizes. Staff is always super friendly and have positive attitudes. Good vibe to this place. One of my favorite restaurants in Raleigh. I like this location a lot more than the Cameron village one. Went there a couple months for the first time. The smiles and customer service was amazing when entering. That makes a big difference. I am a very "never can make up my mind person", and they were very patient and answered all questions with knowledge. I saw the GM jump in and started taking orders to help the team. That's a very good example of good management. Since that first experience, I now go twice a week and it has been good tasting food and customer service continuously. This location is INCREDIBLE. I placed my order online (I love Cava and frequent for the amazing food) and showed up very shortly after placing it. I was there a little bit early so I wasn't expecting my food to be ready, but it was just finishing up. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by an entire staff of rockstars. The pita chips that I ordered weren't quite ready yet, so I was offered a free drink for my patience. I wasn't in a rush, but several team members came over to check on me, and they were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. I felt genuinely valued from the moment I walked in. The manager on duty also blew my mind... As somebody who used to manage restaurants, I know it's not always an easy job. The gentleman on duty was taking one on one time with each and every employee, making sure that they felt great about the work that they were doing. There was coaching and encouragement, it was an amazing thing to see in action. He also called me by my name when chatting with me which was incredibly impressive from a customer service perspective. The overall atmosphere was just incredible and I'm glad that I drove a few minutes out of my way to stop by today! :) read more

The buffet style of this place is great. All the food is fresh and colorful. I normally get the bowl with white rice lentils half chicken have vegetables, three different humus and a few other things. Oh did I mention the pita bread that's fried? Mannn that's crack. Tried Cava for the first time & got Emma Chamberlain's bowl with pita chips. It was very good, lots of flavor, and everything was very fresh. The seasoning on the pita chips was different but they were good! Will be trying other bowls at Cava in the future! read more

Today, my daughter and I went to CAVA. I drove one hour and 40 minutes to go to Raleigh and when I saw Cava, I parked in the parking lot until they opened. When I walked in and I saw that they didn't have the famous delicious juices.. I was sad and disappointed. However, Henry rushed to the rescue. He approached me and asked me what was wrong and I mentioned that I love CAVA, specially the juices they make and that we live almost 2 hours away. Well, to make the story short, we came home with 4 cups of delicious juice!!on top of that, Henry refused to take any tips! He is awesome! Thank you Henry and the whole team that jumped to help make the delicious and amazing juice. I can't wait to go back! A SUPER HAPPY CUSTOMER! We've always been a big fan of CAVA and it's our go to place to grab a quick bite and good salad bowl. Unfortunately after a couple times visiting this location we won't be coming back. None of the times we had a pleasant experience with costumer service. We've tried ordering ahead online from home and picking up but we still had to wait over 10 minutes at the store to get our order. Every time we visit they've been out of some ingredients/toppings and none of the workers seemed to enjoy working there and don't provide basic costumer service. In our last visit, again we experienced poor costumer service, worker chewing gum (not in a discrete way) while making our bowls, they were out of some ingredients, multiple times we had to mention that we wanted pita with our order and our order was missing it and they had attitude while serving. read more
