First time trying Cava since moving to the area. Was very excited, I placed a order online for pick up at 3:00. I live 10 minutes away and arrived right on time. The area isn't my favorite due to lots of traffic but there is a parking for Cava pick up which was convenient. When walking in, there's a shelf where pick up orders are placed, mine was not there. I go into the line and there's four customers ahead of me and only one worker on the line... As I waited patiently for my turn, all I can think is why is there only one person in the front? The place was starting to get packed, five more customers behind me. The worker had a attitude with the customers before me, I could see the eye rolling and slamming the spoons around. When I finally got to the front there was my order, just on the counter in a bag. Had to wait for my turn just to tell the worker that I had a online order. A order that should have been on the shelf. I could of been easy in and out but instead waited in line for 30 minutes. Food was great but the location needs work. Went to Cava again tonight and picked up my online order, checked my bag before leaving and my pita chips were not in there. Told the worker I didn't have my chips and he says oh yeah they're cooking right now... then why would you hand me my bag if my order isn't ready? When I get home I check my bowl and there's no free pita or falafel that I paid extra for!! Next time I'll skip the online order. read more

I would give this place a few more weeks before trying again. Walked in and ordered only to find they were missing half the ingredients they needed to make our order. I will say the staff made the best of a bad situation but I miss the old Zoe's kitchen. It going to be a while before I try again. read more

Will not be coming back, staff isn't very friendly and The manager straight up rolled her eyes at me and had an attitude, it honestly ruined my experience and made my day worse, I work in customer service and even if a customer is irritating me I would never straight up roll my eyes at them. I always create my own bowl because I can be pretty picky, and I love how it turned out! Think of this place like a Mediterranean Chipotle. The food is healthy and always tastes fresh. The line to order can sometimes be long because I see a lot of people come here after working out. I get the honey harissa chicken, with greens/grains, and a bunch of other toppings. The concept of this restaurant is great. The other locations are awesome. Unfortunately, for Sugar Land, the owner/manager do not care about the quality control. The employees do not listen, barely give you any portions and the grill is filthy. We ordered a bunch of bowls to go and half of the bowls were empty. The employees were scraping the cans to fulfill our order instead of getting new ingredients from the back. Everything tasted old. Also, the employee messed up my order and instead of doing a new one, he took his hands and scooped out the unwanted ingredients. This place is a mess. Really wish they would hire good people and actually care about keeping customers. read more

Utterly disappointed! Not fair to compare this with chipotle as chipotle actually always has food. Portions were small. Went on a Saturday at 7 and they were out of a lot of things, and when I say a lot of things means from salad bases to some protein to dressings and even their so called juices. Staff looked like they would much rather be elsewhere. How a restaurant can be out of so many things is beyond me and it seems like this is a main complain amongst other customers too. This was my first time going to the restaurant to order food, I had previously ordered from a food delivery app. So I was thinking it would be good to go the restaurant and order it to go. Not! I paid $12 for a half bowl of hard and dried out brown rice. The vegetables are a joke the serving spoons are so small the portion sizes wouldn't fill a toddler never mind a grown adult. The stars are completely food-based and nothing to do with customer service. I typically have a nice experience as I simply just come in, get my food, and go. This particular time I came in one of the staff members messed up my order (completely normal as we all makes mistakes) so I ended up having to wait as they re-made my order. Trying to prevent from holding up the line, I pay for my order as they are re-making it. Well, another staff member didn't charge me correctly (he forgot to tax on another 3.00 for 1.5 scoop of vegetables) -- again another honest mistake. Well, an older lady who was also behind the counter making the bowls comes by the younger male checking me out telling him to charge me again for the vegetables I ordered. The younger male tells her "we should give it to her. We messed up" she says "no, you should charge her". She's attempting to be discreet about the conversation all while having it right in front of me -- to prevent the awkwardness I just told the guy to charge me again as I was now feeling PO. Mistakes are human but I don't appreciate the way I felt as she stood there "quietly" heckling the guy for not wanting to charge me again for "extra vegetables". It's not that serious. read more
