Such good food. This is a busy little buffet restaurant in Sugarland. Although busy the restaurant is a fairly quiet place. Of course there is no wait and the food is absolutely delicious. It's close to the hospital. We will definitely be back.

I'm usually not a big fan of Mediterranean food, but I decided to give Dimassi's Sugar Land a try recently. The restaurant is pretty small and clean, and there is a pretty decent variety of dishes/drinks available. The service was good for a self-serve buffet, and for about $24 per person for all-you-can-eat on a weened evening, you really can't beat that price. They have a wide variety of appetizers, salads, soups, vegetables, dips, rice, meats, sides, and desserts. My favorite was absolutely the Dimassi's grilled chicken. It was really juicy and flavorful, especially when a fresh batch just came out. I also really liked the fried fish, the fried cauliflower, and the rice with vermicelli. I didn't try any of their appetizers such as pizzas and pita breads because they looked dry and a bit unappetizing. I also didn't get any lamb shank because I don't like lamb, but their lamb shanks were super popular among the customers. Self-serve rose water, mint lemonade, and fountain drinks were complimentary with the buffet, and I really loved their mint lemonade. For desserts, my favorite was the rice pudding.

Dimassi's, my old friend. After avoiding the League City location for a while, I must say, the Sugarland location is much better. It's a smaller location, but they have about the same menu options and good service. The price for the buffet is also a lot cheaper here after the one near me raised their prices twice. The food was very good for a buffet style restaurant. The lamb shank and lamb dishes were the star of the show. But that also means if you're like some of my friends who don't like lamb, you'd be missing out on a big part of the experience. Their signature grilled chicken and beef kabobs were also great though. Drinks also come free with the buffet. You have the usual soda fountain to self serve from, but also their specialty rose water and mint lemonade are a unique and refreshing choice that you can't get in many other places. Overall, if you can enjoy the variety of Mediterranean specialties they offer, this is an easy 5 star. If you're a bit more picky with food choices, the buffet won't be as great of value though.

Everything is delicious and fast. Great and friendly service. The price is 21.00 for all you can eat dinner buffet.

This is one of my go-to Mediterranean spots and I get a craving for it about once every 3 months. The food is always pretty fresh and flavorful. Even if you're not very knowledgeable about Mediterranean food I'm sure you can find something you like from the variety on their buffet. The reason why I have deducted a star is because their tzatziki sauce is not as good as other non-buffet gyro places in the area and on my last 2 visits I noticed gnats in the restaurant. Hopefully they can get it figured out but a couple gnats ain't gonna keep me away from ayce gyros and kafta.

I'm highly recommend this place so good have variety foods , it great taste so good . It very close area mall and restaurant so great and easy walk area enjoy .

The consistency from restaurants varies the rice pudding was a big disappointment no pistachios so other stuff on there and the food was not like before dissatisfied with the overall experience.

This place has good food. There's a big variety of food. Everything is yummy and the lamb shank is one of their bests. The cashiers are pretty friendly and check you out fast. The Ice Cream is AWESOME! There's ice cream for no extra cost and a nice selection of desserts. However it's pretty crowded and it is a little bit too close together and packed in. The space is sometimes loud, but the tables are close together. Overall, it's a good place to eat at and it is pretty affordable.

Excellent Mediterranean cuisine, with featured plates like lamb shank and saffron rice. Their rose water beverage is excellent (unique and refreshing and unlike any other beverage), as is there mint lemonade. Nice assortment of fruits and copious vegetables. They even have soft-serve for dessert. Service is self-serve but they have various preparers of the lamb shanks, etc. Very cool and traditional interior decor as well. Recommended, especially the one in Sugar Land / Houston, TX!

Locally and family owned, we were warmly welcomed upon entering and everyone was so nice and generous with answering questions and providing samples as needed. Various prepped meat skewers were displayed behind the refrigerated counter and ready to be cooked- dishes are made fresh! Loved the variety of the simple menu. You can pick your base, protein, and lastly two sides. We sampled the okra, daal , and Afghan rice- all were delicious! Ordered : Chicken koobideh with daal and fries - delicious seasoned tender chicken atop fragrant Afghan rice. The fries were nice and crisp and drizzled with some of their specialty sauces and the daal, like a soup, was perfecto! Chicken koobideh atop Greek salad without feta. Knowing that I had a slight intolerance to dairy, they offered me a sample of all their sauces. Love!! I dipped my salad and chicken into all of them- garlic, spicy, green. For my sides - daal which they put into a bowl for me so as to not spill into my other items ( very thoughtful!) and eggplant. At the time they were sold out of the popular dish, I was disappointed and I think they couldn't help but notice the expression on my face..... but, as I was trying to figure out my other side, a shipment of eggplant came in! And they made it fresh for me! Sliced, cooked eggplant topped with a homemade tomato sauce. I was disappointed to see that they did not have a drink fountain and I had few choices of can soda from a drink cooler. Not a deal breaker but I hate paying for drink at a restaurant and I get a can soda. My food came and looked yummy. I was pleasantly surprised to see the fries topped with sauces. Started with fries and they were nice and jot/crispy. Extra sauces on them made them more flaverful. I took my bite with pita wrap and, man was it yummy. Full of flavor, I think it was lamb or lamb and beef gyro. I don't remember what the guy told me but it was very yummy. It was probably the best gyro/pita wrap that I've ever had. I would definitely come back here again if I am ever on this side of town/state.

When we arrived on a Tuesday evening, it was empty other than maybe one other family. When we entered we were told to pick a seat and then given the menus. They didn't have many other options that were appetizing- I'm not into the eggplant or okra. While waiting for the food the waitresses were sitting on their phones chatting laughing, I thought it was unprofessional, that's not what you want to see when you go to a nice place. We were given salad- the salad already had dressing on it which was spicy! Me and my friend could not figure out what it is - it was tangy spicy I think from garlic more chemically tasting rather than Cheyenne spicy. A bit too spicy for both of us. I would have wished they put the dressing on the side so we can add on our own. The food arrived and was given pita bread as well which was nice. The food was not flavorful, the hummus tasted Bland, falafels were actually pretty good but only were given . The pita bread I was hoping was gonna be fluffy but this was so thin and chewy didnt like it. Everything wasn't to my liking or lacking something except the falafels which I only had two of. I think the falafel wrap might have been a better option but due to the price I won't be back.
