My AC condensation pipe was completely backed up and needed to be flushed. Their tech arrived on time and seemed very professional, spending about an hour and a half working on the unit and inspecting everything inside and out. However, he couldn't find where the evaporator line exited the house. His solution? Install an external pump and run a whole new drain line. The rough estimate for that was, well, a hell of a lot more than the $15 fee they charged me just to come out and take a look. When he left, I still had the exact same broken AC, was stressing over an exorbitant bill to fix it, and somehow found out I'd been signed up for a $15-a-month service plan that entitled me to another check-up in six months just in time for winter. Hoping to just get it resolved, I reached out to Service Wizard via Yelp later that evening to see if they could come back today to do the work the tech recommended. I never got a response. Frustrated, I called a different AC company. They actually answered the phone, sent technicians out right on time today, and those guys spent **five minutes** at my house before finding the external line, repairing it, and flushing my system. Problem completely solved in under five minutes, and the fee was incredibly cheap compared to the massive quote I got from Service Wizard. I will definitely be canceling my $15-a-month contract with Service Wizard and won't be recommending them going forward. Save yourself the headache and call someone else!

Aaron brought to our attention that our condenser is not performing to like it should and that it will be needing to be replaced. He mentioned that we could replace it today since he had the part available or we could just monitor it. In June 2025, we hired this company to diagnose an issue with our HVAC system. After their…read moreevaluation, we were told we needed a new condenser, which cost us $5,200. Two days after the installation, the system stopped working again. When they returned, we were told there was now a hole in the coil and that it would be another $5,000 to repair or $16,000 for a completely new system. At that point, we decided to get additional opinions. Multiple HVAC companies quoted us significantly lower pricing. We learned that the condenser we paid $5,200 for typically costs around $3,000 installed. We ultimately had a brand-new system (the same model we already had) installed by another company for $7,000, less than half of what we were quoted. When we raised our concerns, the only explanation given was that they "don't get as good of pricing as other companies." Our experience left us feeling like they don't even try to properly diagnose, they just throw in expensive parts and hope for the best. We are also feeling duped because we obviously paid well above market rate for the work performed. We strongly recommend using ANYONE else.
