    Drunken noodles
    Austin H.

Went in with no expectations. The restaurant was a little dirty and peek bending the curtain of the kitchen was rough. However the staff were very friendly. They give you a spice level rating of 10. My partner and I got wanted 5 but were talked down to 3 & 4. I like spicy but even at a 4 it was fairly hot. I know the staff take pride it making people sweat lol I would take their recommendation on the spice level. We got spring rolls, spicy pho, & drunken noodles all decent and hot. 3/5

Fresh Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce
    Ida M.

This is seriously one of my all time favorite restaurants. Their pho is delicious!!!! The spring rolls with peanut sauce are sooo good!!! And the fried rice is THE BEST I've ever had. The pad Thai is great. Everything is made fresh to order. If you haven't tried Vietnamese/Thai food...do yourself a favor and visit CC Noodle Bar. I sent co-workers here to eat and they were blown away. They had no idea the food could be so good. It's not fancy...but the food is great. If you want Vietnamese food that tastes like a Vietnamese grandma made it...this is the place.

Yummy Chicken, Spice level 6 (1-10 scale)

Passing through town landed me here and I was very impressed. I actually bookmarked the location so I can return on future trips. I'll seperate the review in 4 parts. Food: Phenomenal. I like most food but prefer rice plated meals over soups. I ordered the Yummy Chicken at a 6 spice level. Initially I thought about ordering an extra side of rice but at the end of the meal it was the perfect serving for me. You could split the meal with an extra side of rice if you wanted a lighter lunch. The chicken has a crispness to its outside while still being juicy, followed by a tangy and delicious sauce. Garnished with nuts. Some peppers and onions I believe but simple and well executed. If you enjoy a spicy meal, I would say 6 is the highest I go before you experiance less of the flavor. I'll try an 8 next time but 6 left me happy with the spicy, while not sweating profusely. I didn't feel the need to continuously go to my drink which allowed me to enjoy the flavor while still experiancing that burn. A slice of lime came on the side which I used to garnish. For my water enthusiasts the water was good. If it was tap I couldn't tell. I don't remember the price but it was 11-13 bucks for the meal. Customer Service: Excellent. They added impactful experiance to my day. They were polite, helpful, and very fast. I believe my meal was out within 10minutes around 3:30. 3 other tables being served. They offered recommendations, and the chef actually visited our table to ask how each meal was, even asking if my spice level was okay (they recommended not going over a 5, I chose 6 knowing I am a fan of spicy). The chef also explained how he cooked the chicken when asked. Meal came with silverware and chopsticks. Atmosphere: Very clean. 1st thing I noticed was a clean dining area and maintained tables. Tables were cleared when people left promptly and there is a good spread between high tables, tables, and bar seating. Lighting used natural light from windows, they have overhead lighting as well. No fluorescent lighting that I saw, soft white lights and some colored lights. Where they could improve: I don't believe there was much that needed to be improved on. They seem like they have a good thing going and know what restaurant they want to run. Food was phenomenal, customer service was more friendly and welcoming than any restaurant i've been to lately. They seemed like they wanted to be there and welcomed us there. I don't see this often anymore. Restaurant was in good shape, clean, with good water. Some of the tables were from a "Beef o Brady's" so they could be re-finished or have a table cloth thrown over but that doesn't concern me. I would recommend and will be returning.

It was really good, even though I wasn't sure what to order but what I finally picked with the help with our server was great.

Absolutely the best Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The bun Bo hue, the pho, and bun thit nuong are all fresh.

Best pho in the Tri-Cities! Don't listen to the other person. Give this place a chance and you'll be coming back for more.

My wife and I ordered from Pho Lao Kitchen Der for takeout. We are quite versed in Thai cuisine,…read morehave only become interested in Vietnamese cuisine in the past few years, but are completely ignorant of Lao food. The portion sizes here are huge! Here was our order: -Shrimp Salad (Summer) Rolls: 10/10...the rolls were twice the size of rolls you get at other Thai places for the same price. But with the peanut sauce, they were transcendental. That peanut sauce could be bottled and sold en masse. So so so good. -Papaya Salad: 7.5/10, very refreshing, but with a secret hit of spice on the back of the palate that wakes you up. Crisp, fresh, healthy. -Larb chicken: this was a first for me....to my unrefined palate, it tasted almost like ground chicken cooked with pho spices/herbs. I ended up drizzling some of the leftover peanut sauce on the chicken which was amazing. Again, lots of protein and vegetables, perfect for health-conscious folks. 9/10 -Pad Thai: this is my wife's safe order that she always uses as a litmus test for restaurants, and it did NOT disappoint! She said this was her favorite pad Thai EVER, and with drizzles of the extra peanut sauce and lime juice, this dish was truly elevated. 10/10. -Mango Sticky Rice: 100000000/10, my lord I don't know how I lived my life without this. It's reminiscent of peach cobbler in my opinion, but with mango. The sweetened rice isn't overly sweet, which allows the sharpness/sweetness of the mango to shine. The mango itself was perfectly ripe, whereas most mangos tend to be sickly sweet and mushy from overripening. All in all, this is our new favorite for Thai cuisine in Tri-Cities, and my introduction to Lao food was beautiful and filling. We will absolutely be back in the future, as I'd love to see how Lao pho differs from Vietnamese pho. Plus the mango sticky rice is etched into my mind permanently.

We headed over for a cozy dinner but were disappointed by the lack of indoor seating. The cashier had a bit of a strange confused yet also slightly irritated attitude. But she got our orders right so I cant complain much. We ordered two beef pho and shumai. The menu is a bit more "fusion-ey" than just thai and vietnamese. The interior was a very messy, the stores old furniture and boxes scattered about. Finally the food. It was lukewarm by the time we finally got to eat. Very delicious broth, meat was mostly yummy, LOT of fat pieces though. The noodles were... not enjoyable. And there were no bean sprouts! But for pho it makes the minimum mark. The shumai was also pretty good but cold. I like how the food was packaged separately, and the prices were reasonable, the pho bowl was $11. Overall 3 stars

I have ordered shrimp fried rice on many occasions and this was not a five star in my opinion. It lacked more flavor. When I eat a great tasting platter I typically skip them yum yum sauce and enjoy the way it was meant to be. This meal led me to ask if it was available, which is not. I then made an attempt to put soy sauce in it which I caused my own disaster for my remainder of the meal. Which was fine because I am trying to cut back and my wife enjoyed it later in the night as a leftover. My wife ordered a dish which was not cooked right (don't remember but doesn't matter) because the manager quickly agreed and recognized the issue and replaced the meal then comped the new meal also. Awesome service. The meal had something to do with the meat being sliced too thick, which caused over cooking, then ended in being dried out and tough. They are fixing this issue. The plate only had one large shrimp and a few small shrimps (like from the cup of ramen type). I felt it needed more shrimp. My wife's meal had a lot of large shrimps. Just couldn't give five stars even though they tried way above and beyond just due to my liking of my meal. Thank you again to management.
