I went back this weekend and was very exited. Unfortunately, this time I'm dissatisfied. I had pho. When it was served, there was chicken fat floating on top. Furthermore, their portions have gotten small... especially the noodles and the one beef ball was cut up to make it look as if it was multiple. Absolutely the best Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The bun Bo hue, the pho, and bun thit nuong are all fresh.

This is the closest thing to real Pho in the area. Very good food if you are willing to open your palate to other things besides zaxbys..the owner and his family are very nice and willing to describe all menu items to you. I have tried almost whole menu and have not been disappointed. read more

So excited to have a great Vietnamese option in Bristol! I tried the pho, spring rolls, and grilled chicken and they were all delicious and they all survived the drive home well (we got it to go). I've been here twice. The first time was opening day and was hectic. The second time was last week on a Thursday. They have fallen into a groove now. The food has been excellent and flavorful both times and the portions have been generous. I took pictures of their menu, but spoke to them, and it's not the entirety of what they plan to offer, so I won't post it. They plan to have the full menu available later this summer. Contrary to what the other reviewer said, the staff has been very friendly to me and my family, and I have a brood of moody teenagers. I love Vietnamese iced coffee, and get it whenever I can find it, but I've never seen it made before, I've just been handed a plastic cup. They bring you two cups, one with the coffee still brewing in the Vietnamese coffee press, and another full of ice. I was a little baffled at the first visit, but they tell you what to do, and the result was so good, I went home and bought my own coffee press. My results, however, didn't turn out nearly as well. I was using a similar coffee-(My preferred coffee brand is Community, which has chicory in it already, so while it wasn't the traditional Cafe du Monde, it was pretty close and the coffee itself wasn't the issue) and had watched a few YouTube videos but it just wasn't the same. On my second visit, I again ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, and mentioned that I had bought my own brewer but wasn't getting the same results. One of the staff came out and gave me tips and showed me what I was doing wrong with my own. read more

I don't normally like to leave bad reviews for businesses but, I went here couple weeks ago. Place was very dirty. The pho broth tasted like dish soap. I have travelled all over Asia and a NYer and this place is world class. The owners are so kind and welcoming. The Pad Thai is as good as advertised but the Lo Mein is just as great. So many of our special, family owned restaurants have been challenged by COVID and this one is no exception. Give this wonderful find a chance. The caring and warmth come through in the food. True to a typical Asian noodle place except far more seating. No where near opulent but still friendly and very inviting. Owners are first generation immigrants and the fare tastes authentic. The pho is fantastic as well and it always hits the spot. Very hearty. If you've ever experienced authentic Asian culture overseas or as part of an Asian community in the USA, you'll appreciate this place. Most Rednecks, Hillbillies and insular Appalachian Southerners will probably be better served at Bojangles or the hot dog roller rack at your local Scotchman Petrol Station. read more

The pho was okay, but every other place includes a lot more meat for similar prices. The spring rolls & egg rolls are tasty, but also a little high for what you get. Even though I got my order to go, the service was great. The people that I spoke to were very nice and welcoming. The biggest thing that put me off to this place was the condition of the inside of the restaurant. The floor was legitimately sticky (I could hear myself walk) & there were food containers and trash laying out behind the counter, and what appeared to be rice stuck to the floor near the edge of the counter. And that's only the part I could see. I could understand if I had just walked in after a rush & only saw the aftermath, but the people working didn't seem concerned about cleaning it up and were actually eating when I arrived. I know it can get crazy in restaurant kitchens sometimes but it really leaves an awful impression on customers when they walk into a mess like that. No matter how good the food is, it makes you wonder what kind of conditions your food is being prepared in. read more

The food was on the lower side of "just okay." what certainly was not okay was the price and the service. The prices made me not want to come back especially because they just aren't competitive at all with the many other southeast Asian style restaurants in the area. For this restaurant to last they need to compete price wise. We stopped at CC Noodle Bar on the way back to Atlanta. My granddaughter is vegan, so we like to eat at Asian restaurants where she has options. Because they are such a new restaurant, they didn't yet have vegan options on the menu. However, the chef offered to craft a tofu dish for her that was amazing. I had pho, also very good. And they are fantastically fresh, flavorful, and cooked with care. Yes, the prices are a bit above what you'll find elsewhere in the area, but if you're satisfied with fast food, grease pit Panda Express, then go there. Somehow my last review got deleted. On May 7 I went to this restaurant for dinner. The family who runs it was constantly yelling at each other and fighting. The other person I was with had their food arrive in a timely manner but my food never arrived. I couldn't talk to anyone to get my food because of the constant fighting. After the other person I was with finished their food we were given the check and I asked for my food to go. The amount of food I got didn't even take up half of the to go container and it was just ok. Too pricey for the small servings and horrible service. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant. read more
