Nice cute little corner coffee spot off the corner of royal st and St. Peter's. No long wait time. Just less than a 2 block walk from where we are staying. Our tour guide talked about them having good croissants. I came for some tea. Sadly they were out of the black honey peach, so I went with the strawberry rouge which was really good. Nice little pick up for those that can only handle so much coffee. Prices are about Avg. with ample amount of indoor seating. None outdoor. Glad it's close by for those staying on royal or in the French quarter. read more

While walking around New Orleans we stumbled upon this cute coffee shop. The baristas were very friendly and had wonderful recommendations. We ended up ordering the seasonal flavors and they did not disappoint! My favorite was the King Cake latte as it was rich with cinnamon but not too over powering. They were both on the sweeter side so definitely order if you're looking for a sweet coffee drink. I truly recommend this coffee shop if you're ever visiting NOLA! read more

Having visited the CC's off Esplanade, it was nice to go to a CC's in the actual quarter. The location is further down on Royal Street, away from the crowds and the typical bustling activity. I came here to order an iced coffee, which was solid and filled me with glee as we made our trek around the French Quarter. There was a lot of lovely artwork hung on the brick and other walls as we enjoyed our beverages. The service was reasonably expedient for the coffees. But there was a wait for the bathroom as there only seemed to be one for both genders/non-genders to use, so that was a few minutes. But oh well. Overall, it's a solid operation producing solid coffee drinks in a part of the French Quarter that is a lot more chill than say a couple of blocks over to Bourbon Street. read more

I spend two months a year here in the French Quarter and CCs is typically a daily visit for me. But on my current visit, I have noticed that the magic is gone. The flavor of the coffee is not there. I'm wondering if they have changed roasters or the coffee source? The atmosphere is also not as welcoming as I have become used to either. But I do love the location. This is a cozy, comfortable, clean spot! I stopped by twice during my stay in NOLA, and it was a highlight of my trip. There are tons of outlets for remote work. The bakery case is expertly presented, but I only had beverages. I had the signature blended Mochasippi drink, and an iced mocha on the second visit. Both were smooth and flavorful with a pleasant espresso kick. The employees are pleasant and obviously run a well-oiled operation. They were a bit loud when interacting with each other, which is both jarring in an otherwise chill environment, and at the same time welcome so you don't feel like you're at the library. (Plus, this IS the French Quarter, so it's not reasonable to expect a zen garden.) I am weird in that I love a corporate chain environment, and CC's strikes an absolute PERFECT balance between the polish of a chain and the character of an independent coffee house. read more

Came here to get coffee on a hot summer day after walking around the french quarter for a while. The refreshing AC definitely reinvigorated me while inside. I ordered a cold brew which honestly wasn't too bad- sweet but not too sweet! Staff was generally friendly and bathrooms are locked to guests only. We were recommended to CC's by an employee at one of the nearby shops. We went in, my friend made a purchase and I asked for the code to the restroom. The employee at the counter with the short red hair was extremely rude for no reason. Red hair said "the bathroom is for paying customers and SHE made the purchase, not YOU." My friend and I looked at each other in shock. I told her I'd make a purchase. She rudely told me she'd let me use the bathroom since my friend bought something. She walks over to unlock the bathroom and throws the door open aggressively and walked off. Luckily I caught the door to even get in before she would have to enter the code again. While I was in there, my friend witnessed another argument with the red hair again with another customer. The customer made a less expensive purchase I guess, and asked for the code. Red hair told her "if you're only coming in to buy something to use the bathroom, just say that!" The customer's friend was sitting at a table with her drink-the customer pointed her friend out. Apparently red hair went back and forth with the PAYING customer as if it were her bathroom at home. My friend ended up throwing her drink away because it tasted gross. Stopped by here on a hot humid morning in Nola for morning brew while passing through the city with our dog. We called ahead and they said they were not only a dog friendly establishment but would even give her a pup cup. Cold brew was perfect for a 95 degree felt like 105 and 80% humidity weather. I told them it needed to be iced and they just put a half a scoop of ice in it now I have this water down garbage that I'm throwing away right now that cost $4.60 plus a dollar tip. Woke up early for a bayou tour and quickly realized that before 8am there aren't many options for food in the French Quarter. CC's is a local chain coffee house that is pretty on par with Starbucks or Dunkin. The cold brew was pretty flavorful and had a good hit of caffeine. My boyfriend had herbal nectar tea with cane sugar. It was super fragrant with tons of flavor. We each got pastries. My croissant was too chewy. Not a typical flaky croissant. Kind of a let down. Overall this wasn't really a sit down meal. Much more of a morning grab and go shop. read more

After a few hours of sightseeing I needed a boost, came across this place and it lived up to my expectations. Initially CC's Coffee House reminded me of Starbucks but once I really checked it out I came to appreciate the differences. Originating from Baton Rouge, Community Coffee (the coffee roaster) has been around for ~100 years and various blends are available in some grocery story. In 1995 they began opening retail coffee shops throughout Louisiana, Texas and Alabama. The shops outside of Louisiana struggled due the establish places (i.e. Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, etc). In 2013, as an attempt to expand both inside and outside the state of Louisiana 2013, Community Coffee spun off the retail coffee shop business into a separate company named CC's Coffee House. As for this location, the space has a nice layout and while it's part of the CC's Coffee House chain, it felt more like a one-off local coffee shop. There was plenty of table seating, a few comfy chairs/sofa seats along with a few bar-height communal tables. With the steady flow of people coming/going, finding a seat was never an issue on my visits. Even more important, was the abundance of those power outlets available. Spend time in a coffee shop and one quickly learns how the seats near the power outlets are coveted. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. They assisted me a couple of times in deciding what I wanted to drink (I knew it in Starbucks lingo but it wasn't the same on their menu. While all of that is important, the primary reason for visiting a coffee shop is for the product. I used to brew Community Coffee at home and always enjoyed the bold but smooth flavor. For my first visit (yes, I visited it more than once) I went with a plain cup of coffee. It was as tasty as I remember. and that's what I had on my first visit. On subsequent visits I tired some of their specialty drinks. All were made per order and were delicious. If you're in the area and need a boost stop in here for one of their many options. And while you're there, have a seat, charge your device and chill for a few minutes. I plan to do just that on future visits to this area. read more

CCs is one of the cleanest coffee shops I ever been to in the French Quarter's. It has some of the best coffee and some of the best workers I walked in an order and espresso 22 a hot caramel latte and a rose glow and before I finish paying this guy Jaye how was barista had my drink ready that's what I call fast customer . I also ordered some pastries and the pastries was so good and fresh. My favorite is the blueberry muffin and cinnamon roll. Sometimes I prefer to get the blueberry stone, but I will be returning back to CCs coffee house it's my new favorite spot to go to in the French Quarter read more

CC's was on the corner of where we decided to watch the Southern Decadence parade. We still had lots of time to spare before the parade got to where we were, so we decided to check this coffee shop. I do think that the staff was overwhelmed with the never ending line to the door, but I will say that the quality of our order was not affected. I ordered the grande lemonade smoothie and the sausage cheddar pretzel. I highly recommend both, they were both very tasty. I especially loved the sausage because it had the cheese inside of it and every bite guaranteed some. The sausage and lemonade were very filling. If you are in the area and need a snack, I definitely think you should try the sausage. read more

Very disorganized coffee house. - did not get the orders correct on the first or second attempt - did not write the names correctly on the cups so they called out the wrong names(even though we spelled out the names) - did not bill for the orders correctly - gave us coffee instead of Chai tea - billed for a latte, but then forgot the milk - left the tea bag in the chai tea latte And... - they said their errors were our fault Next time, maybe it would be better to go to Starbucks or wait in line for cafe du monde. read more
