We did a 12 person team bonding event here for my daughter's club volleyball team. It was perfect! The owner was kind and helpful throughout the process. We had the room that was part of the expansion and could bring in our own snacks. The girls picked the item of their choice to paint and then I picked them all up a few days later. My husband proudly announces he can't draw a stick figure, so this was definitely out of his comfort zone, but he willingly joined in the surprise. There are a number of paintings available on different nights, so the first step is to pick the one you want to do. From there, everything is set up for you with a plate of paint colors, a primed canvas, brushes and instruction. There's no presumption that you actually know what to do and Rodd, our instructor explained everything in plain English - not artsy lingo - so that you can follow along. Both instructors were there when you made a mistake or needed assistance or more paint and they were patient through the process. Neither of our paintings will end up in a fancy gallery, but we were happy with our finished works and the two hour class went at the right pace.

Jessica the instructor is a great guide, flexible, informative and patient. This class isn't cheap but they supply ALL THE ART SUPPLIES and we've painted in acrylic, oils, and watercolors and drawn with charcoal and pencil. Paper, solvent, linseed oil. I was really nervous the first class, but the piece turned out better than I expected. I find the class calming, almost meditative.

Greeted with excitement, owner Rochelle of Board & Brush had me check in on her iPad. Showed me to my seat where we chatted for a bit. I saw my project in its raw form. I'm so excited to tackle this project. This is actually my second time coming so I know a little of what is expected. Rochelle does an amazing job taking you step by step and helping you. Even if you're not a crafter, never even handled a paint brush, Rochelle, and her staff are very patient, and very helpful. You start off with a raw board of pine. You're given a couple minutes to release your stress on the board. Hammering marks using chicken wire, a hammer, a mallet, and a large screw. You'll sand it lightly, and then stain it. Then it's time to stencil. Using a semi dry brush, you'll dab your brush on the stencil. Give it a minute under the fan to dry and peal the stencil off. And you're pretty much done. You get an official Bb logo sticker to complete your project. I recommend signing and dating your project on the back. Viola you're an artist! The Fancy Marshmallow Co. owner, Tina, she is such a sweetheart. She set up her beautiful marshcuterie spread. All made from scratch. Soft, fluffy, and flavorful treats. She has the cutest treats. All kinds of shapes and sizes. My favorite is the strawberry champagne. Trust me, they are amazing. Tina also brought in her hot cocoa mix ingredients and we all got to make our own bag of hot cocoa mix to take home. And we got to pick our goodies from the marshcuterie and box them up in the cutest boxes with heart printed tissue paper. Such a sweet touch to a fun class. I highly recommend coming to Board & Brush. Such a fun girls night out. They are BYOB, so it's a great group celebration. The Fancy Marshmallow, such a cute boutique, I've been several times. This was my first time on the Dell campus. It is a huge property with many buildings and parking lots. In addition, there were many green, statuese trees. It gives you the feeling that you're at a retreat as the surroundings are aesthetically pleasing. There were more than 120+ fitness enthusiasts present. In addition, for your entry fee of $18 you received Taco Deli tacos and Poppi sparkling water. There was also some cool Glow in the dark and other swag. There were several staff members present and security. Everyone was extremely helpful and super friendly. Great instructors, great participants, great fun!!!

Grant's photography covers a wide range of images from his world travels with a concentration on architectural and figurative motifs. All are enhanced by his clever use of abstraction, distortion and painterly gestures which captures the joyful celebration of people and places. Also, check out the photogravures by Dennis Fagan. His work is mainly from his series on the River, with striking imagery that is a marriage of the print, ink, resin and the copper plate. Both artists' works can be seen through February 22nd.

There are multiple ones scattered on the property and there are some workshops that we were lucky enough to go inside and explore with the artist. He told us about his work and showed us some works in progress. This large lot can be a bit challenging as it's outside in the brush but there's some strange and cool stuff here. Some of it is for sale but most is for the gallery. I had a fun time and there's lots to take pictures and videos of. Parking is a bit odd. We had to park in the driveway on the side of the road but it's not impossible.
