The rooms are nice and well-kept. It was nice to have the mini fridge in the room and the ice machine down the hall. The outdoor hot tub was delightful, and the indoor hot tub and pool were nice. I appreciate that the pool is not on the lobby level. The lobby always had a roaring fire, and the Christmas decorations were beautiful, abundant, and tasteful...exactly as I had hoped for the holiday season. The continental breakfast was top notch and saved us a lot of money. Adults and kids liked the options, though the coffee was a bit weak for our taste. Tony at the front desk had exceptional customer service, in an era when customer service seems to be the last on people's minds. It was nice to enter the lobby time and time again and to be greeted with Tony's warm and genuine smile and attentive presence. He helped us find a good Chinese restaurant. We have stayed at this hotel a few times in the last month, and we plan to return many more times in the future. read more

Staff was great. Location was just what we needed. But...... the place needs a serious update the carpet in the rooms was wrinkled and had lumps in it, no bathroom fan, the smart tv didn't work. But the worst thing was the "light continental breakfast". That was a disgrace. It's a tiny closet that has some cereal, yogurt, sometimes frozen breakfast sandwiches that are not great. We showed up for it they were out of coffee, bowls, milk, and then coffee cups. The like 5 items how hard could it be to keep stocked. 4 of us are up from Vancouver WA to attend a Union officers training course. We are sharing two different double bed rooms, one on either side of the hall. I have a beautiful view of the Wenatchee river. The other guys have a view of town and the mountains. Pool is indoor and out door with two hot tubs, one inside and one outside. They are HOTT! Just the way I like them..... I have hung out every morning and every night in them. The pool is a great cool off and being able to swim from indoors to out side is awesome. Dressing room with a shower located right by the pool room. On the 9th floor they have a restaurant with amazing views. The bloody Mary was good but a bit spendy, food was tasty but small portions. If I come to Wenatchee ever again..... I will stay here. read more

The only thing this hotel has going for itself is the kind staff. When I made the reservation, I was not told that the restaurant and bar was closed. The "highlight" of the stay was being woken up 3 times by a horribly disgusting brown fluid that came gurgling out of the SINK! Thought I was going to gag. I stayed here during my short trip to Wenatchee, and enjoyed my stay at Coast Hotel. The staff at the front desk were all friendly and helpful, quickly checking me in and providing information about their amenities and the hotel restaurant. Though the hotel building itself is older, the rooms aren't as aged. They have more modern furniture, and have put in an updated sink and countertop in the bathroom. The mini-fridge in my room was located in the bathroom below the sink counter, which was unexpected, but was glad that there was a fridge for my leftovers and drinks. They also had a small coffee machine with Starbucks coffee. Of everything - I really liked how comfy the bed was! Plus, I like that they use duvets versus comforters for the bed, and had a ton of shams and pillows. There's free wifi, an ice machine on the floor, and for the most part - I couldn't really hear my neighbors. For cars - they give you a parking pass to put on your front dashboard. Amenities included a gym, hot tub and a restaurant on the top floor. They also are dog-friendly, which is always a plus! There are USA Today newspapers for free, and don't forget to help yourself to the free apples in the basket at the front desk either, reminding you you're in Apple Capital. I really liked the location of the hotel. It was central to most everything in downtown Wenatchee, including the Riverfront Park, Pybus Market, and there's even a skybridge to the convention center. Compared to other hotels I've stayed at in Wenatchee, this one is my favorite thus far. read more

Even when I reminded them four times? - the fitness room was pathetic with 1/2 of the machines busted - the "Grab and Go" breakfast was more like a "NO GO" when your choice is oatmeal or Cheerios. Hey Folks! Hilton Garden Inn is just up the street and it's by the River Walk. I would not stay at the Wenatchee Coast Hotel given the chance again. It's not the "old feel" of the hotel that's bothersome, nor the musty smell, sagging beds, the loud AC that hums and bangs through the night, the old slow elevator, the closed restaurant, nor the very tiny TVs (do they still sell those?). It's the poor customer service. They do not follow through with contractual agreements, and therefore, do not meet my expectations for good customer care. When those things go bad, I lose trust. When I lose trust, I no longer feel safe. As a solo female traveler, all this matters greatly to me. Van Halen used to request to have all brown M&Ms removed from a requested bowl in his green room. When that task was not completed, he knew much more important details were left unattended to as requested. Failure to meet contractual obligations of even the small things, often served as an indicator of bigger issues to come. Details matter. I booked a reservation at Hotels.com, for this hotel, as I have many times before. In fact, so many times I am considered a VIP. Ok, nothing here to get too excited about this status. Trust me, I have not consumed a single drop of the $6 bottle of wine, nor eaten the accompanying Hershey's kisses that are wrapped in the foil of whatever was at least two holidays ago. I am also not too excited about the environmentally threatening plastic cups they serve alongside said cheap wine. I have never taken advantage of the alleged offered late check-out nor been upgraded a room. In sum, zero lived benefit. Today, as I checked in, I was gaslighted by the front desk about my VIP status and told to go take it up with Hotels.com. I spent 25 minutes on customer service with Iliana at Hotels.com who assured me Coast was responsible. She further reminded me that the Hotels sometimes can't meet VIP offerings and that I somehow misunderstood how to book. (Nothing like a double roasting gaslighting for one event). Illiana promised to make her best attempt to call the hotel to remedy. She called me back to let me know that the manager was rigid and adamant that I failed to book properly. She let me know "that she did her very best but unfortunately the manager was very rigid and adamant that I failed to book properly". Ok. I get it. A lot of wasted time went into an approximate $7 benefit, which includes a really generous value upgrade of the Hershey kisses. It comes down to this for me: I do not feel safe here. I know that my interests are valued at less than $7. I know my perceived worth here. Big business matters more than the little people. Further, I have also learned that the value of the Wenatchee Coast honor, integrity, and customer service ranges somewhere under the $7 threshold. These folks don't deserve your hard-earned money, nor will they protect your interests if something were to go awry. I've been coming over to Wenatchee to teach classes for several years. I love this town! I've stayed at several hotels here while on my travels but my favorite is the Coast! It's a great hotel. It's super comfortable, spacious, with free Wi-Fi, lots of parking, a pool, and a great staff. I enjoy the location, it's just a couple of blocks and easy walking distance to old downtown, all of the delightful locally owned businesses, restaurants, and Pybus Market. Or, you can head over to Riverfront Park via the Loop Trail on the Columbia River. I also like The Rivertop Bar & Grill on the 9th floor. Great food, service, and lovely views. They feature local cuisine and regional wines! I stayed here April 25/26, 2018 and the lobby remodel was just about complete. It's looking really nice! read more

Staff was super nice. Tony who worked at the front counter was super helpful and super quick. My issue isn't with any of the staff, just hotel itself. There were no microwaves in the rooms. The only microwaves are located in the lobby. Anyone knows that with having kids, it's imperative to have a microwave in the room. The hotel advertises having breakfast. What they have is 2 microwaves, frozen breakfast sandwiches, granola bars and a really long line of guests trying to all heat their sandwiches. The elevators need servicing. You know there's something wrong with the elevators when it takes 7 minutes for 3 different elevators to be able to take you downstairs. I could easily take the stairs, but there's handicapped older people who can't take the stairs. I hope they implement an actual breakfast bar and fix the elevators. THE FACILITY WAS UNCLEAN AND STAFFS WERE VERY RUDE AND IRRESPONSIBLE. When we found the stains on the pillow cover and towels, we reported to the front desk staff named something like Raillie. Without an apology, she told us she could change our bedding and give us new towels so we asked her to do so while we were out. When we came back, they left towels on our sink but our bedding was not changed, INSTEAD THEY JUST LEFT NEW BED SHEET ON OUR BED. I do not understand how it is our responsibility to change it, since it was hotel's fault to not clean the beddings properly at the first place. I made a call to the front desk again and the another front deck receptionist answered saying that he would check with the house keeping but I did not receive any call back. When they did not call back for more than 3 hours, I called the front desk again and asked them to change it but I had to make two more calls until someone actually came and changed them for us. Due to COVID, the hotel had new policy of requiring guests who are having multi-night stays to request housekeeping services in prior. However, this was not explained when Raillie checked us in, as well as other instructions including wifi connection, and it was our own responsibility to find it out. Because our room was not cleaned, we asked to "empty our trash can" and Raillie literally STARED at us until we repeated the question 5 times as if we were saying a nonsense. She misunderstood," while I was standing right there with my colleague. The thing is, I sent the pictures to a few pest control companies back in Seattle, and they have confirmed that it is in fact a bed bug. This place is pretty run down but looks like they are working on renovating it. The construction started pretty early in the morning 7am. Lucky for me I had to be somewhere to be so it worked out. If you are coming here for business it's probably not too bad. Bed was firm. Shower is pretty standard except giant shower head. Kind of cool. Pool wasn't for me too strong chlorine smell lobby was being renovated. Lots of construction. The one thing I liked about this place was the bar on the 9th floor it wasn't anything spectacular but nice to grab a drink in the evening and it has a great view. Overall I could see this place being better one day. Everything was clean it's just kind of aged. I wouldn't be happy to spend $150 if I was vacationing and came here. Place needs lots of work. I was definitely not overly impressed with anything here. The pool area could be absolutely stunning, really, has so much going for it, but they have allowed it to lapse into a boring & sad state. As many have stated the hot tub if full of sand on the bottom. What's extra sad is the whole area is so uninspired though the room itself is completely inspiring! Come on, spend a few bucks! The hotel room was clean and for the most part fine, but honestly lacking when compared to other similarly priced hotels. Cramped feeling, the bed was not very comfortable, no closet just a wardrobe which ate up more of the lacking floor-space, no microwave, the coffee pot & mini fridge are located in the bathroom, took us a few minutes to find them. There is a restaurant that provides decent meals (only ate breakfast) but did not include complementary or discounted guest breakfast. This would be fine if the facility were held to higher standards. But it is not. We chose to spend our second night at the nearby Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are nicer & more spacious, the bed more comfortable, the facility cleaner & more up to date, though the pool area does not have the amazing design compared to the Coast, it is well kept. This facility is a diamond in the rough, it has so much potential. Sad to see it so poorly managed. read more

This is a 2-3 star hotel, along the lines of a Choice International Hotel chain. We had a late check-in, and the front desk was kind enough to give us driving directions in due to the main road being closed for construction. Shared a room with two queen beds with my friend. There was some evidence that this was an older room that had been remodeled and the big hole in the wall near the ceiling was weird along with some maintenance issues like scrapes in the paint. The bathroom didn't have a fan so I boiled while I took a shower and got dressed. No free breakfast at this hotel and breakfast was not served after 10 with the only restaurant closing down for hours between meals, so that was not convenient for time nor our schedule. Was told we got a free newspaper but it never arrived the 3 mornings we were there. The front parking lot was full so we had to park in the back lot then walk all the way around to the front since the hotel doesn't have an entrance from the back lot. There was a 18" flatscreen TV which was nice. The AC was on full blast since it was 100 F+ the whole time we were there and it finally got cool enough in the early hours of the morning. The beds were too soft for our taste but lots of blankets and pillows to choose from. I'll be staying somewhere else next time I go to Wenatchee. read more

This place has the worst customer service of any hotel I've ever dealt with. We had booked with Expedia. My husband ended up with a flat tire that damaged the axel on the way to the hotel and had to be towed home. I talked with Expedia that night they contacted the hotel who said they would cancel the reservation and refund it, Expedia ended up calling them several times and they refused to refund after that I called a few days later the lady that answered said yeah we were planning to refund that. We are just waiting for a manager to come in when she got back on the phone she said unfortunately we can't refund it and she put me through to the GM Freda , the GM said no they told Expedia that they wouldn't refund it and wouldn't cancel it which was a complete lie and then he tried to tell me that I heard the lady wrong who answered the phone so in the end the GM was very rude and unhelpful. They basically said that Expedia was lying about them saying they refund it and that I heard wrong with the lady said that I answered the phone which is complete BS do yourself a favor and stay somewhere that has good customer service. read more

We arrived at the hotel & went up to our room which was on the 8th floor. The view from our hotel was pretty decent, & the room wasn't anything super fancy but it worked for us. That night, we decided to go down & check out the indoor swimming pool & hot tub. To our disappointment, the pool was only 3 1/2 feet deep & was riddled in chlorine... to the point where you could feel it on your skin the moment you put your legs in the water. The hot tub had piles of sand throughout the bottom of it. It was clear that it hadn't been cleaned in a while. We tried to make the most of it and didn't let it ruin our time. The next morning, we woke up to a constant dripping sound in our bedroom. To our surprise, there was a leak in the ceiling, & had soaked the floor space below it. Thankfully we didn't have any of our belongings sitting underneath it! We then packed up our things & went to the front desk to tell them about the leak. When we arrived at the front desk, there was a note that said "New Bitch" next to the receptionist, Cindy. She saw my husband give it a questionable look, & quickly removed it from being seen. Hopefully she hadn't wrote that about a previous customer, it was very unprofessional. We then spoke with Cindy about the leak in our room, to which her response was "Well we can't do anything about the leak unless someone tells us about it..." (this was us telling her, since the phone in our bedroom wasn't working properly). She then moved us into room 836 across the hall from where the leak was. Again, we tried not to let it ruin our time. We simply moved our belongings from one side of the hall to the other. Then we decided to take a shower, & found out that the water pressure was next to non-existent. The shower was making awful noises, & was trying its best to work. There was more pressure coming out of the bathroom sink, we may as well have washed our hair in there instead. Obviously there was a broken pipe on that floor that needed to be fixed, because it was affecting the water in all of the rooms on floor 8. Again we were determined to have a nice trip, so we got dressed and left the hotel for a bit. Later that night as we got ready for bed. We were looking forward to crashing for the night, it was now 10pm. We laid down to go to sleep, but someone upstairs wasn't about to let that happen. There was banging, stomping & smashing around right above our bed. It lasted 20 minutes before my husband and I decided it was time to complain. My husband attempted to call the front desk, tried both phones in the room, & NEITHER OF THEM WORKED! It was becoming comical at this point how awful this trip was becoming all due to the hotel experience. We then had to go down in person. We asked for a manager, but the man who was there said a manager wasn't available until 8am the next morning? We then told them everything, & he agreed that it was a very unpleasant experience and that he was taking note of everything for the manager to review the next day. He then gave us yet again, ANOTHER new room (this time on the 7th floor) & 2 coupons to get breakfast the next day. He said the manager would more then likely give us a discount for our stay, but that he couldn't. We got to our new room, unpacked yet again... We then decided to watch Netflix on our iPad. After attempting to connect to the WiFi, on not just our iPad but on two other devices as well, it was so slow it was impossible to even check emails on it. At this point we didn't expect much at all, it honestly would have been more weird if the internet actually did work! The next morning, we didn't hear from the manager. We decided to call her instead, but yet again, the phones did not work in our new room. Apparently none of the phones work in the hotel. We packed up and decided to check out early, and then asked for the manager. She asked for my name, and then reviewed the notes written from the night before. According to the note, my husband and I were just upset about the noise and requested a new room for the following morning. I had to laugh when she told me this, I then explained to her everything that had happened during our stay. She then apologized for the inconvenience, and offered to reimburse me $50... I looked at her like she was joking for a second, but rather then arguing, I accepted the offer so that we could hurry and get home (I had gotten a call early this morning about a family emergency I had to get home to). She took down my card information, and then invited us back again so that the hotel can give us a better experience next time. There is no $50 in my account and there is still a $20 hold on my account for "damages" that was supposed to be removed upon check out. Even if the $50 does get refunded into my account, It ruined a major portion of our honeymoon and that's something we won't get back. No matter how much money is refunded into my bank account. read more

We went to this hotel to celebrate our granddaughters sweet sixteen birthday. She wanted a small pool party with a few friends and family members. The hotel is nice and clean, no problems in that aspect. However every one of the adults remarked about the girls at the front desk; none of us were greeted or spoken to as we came in the front doors, or when running out to the car and back in. My husband and I just left for the night and again we were not acknowledged, even tho there was no one else in the lobby, and we walked right by her. Mold in AC unit (health hazard). Rundown in general, needing maintenance. Rooftop bar closed for months. Bathroom fans don't work and plumbing seems problematic based on how the toilets struggle to flush. Shower made unpleasant shrieking sound when water on. Poor lighting in rooms since the only overhead light is in entry area, so room and bathroom/shower is dark. Mattress was uncomfortable. Key card entry from outside to pool area or pool bathrooms doesn't work without some serious effort and several tries, confirmed by hotel staff that it often doesn't work. Will not stay here again unless they put some serious work into the place. A lack of remodeling is one thing, but health hazards are unacceptable. One other inconvenience-no microwave in room. There was a working mini fridge in the room (no freezer compartment FYI). The continental breakfast had juice/milk, apples, nutrigrain bars and instant oatmeal packets and some microwaveable breakfast sandwiches. Plus: short skybridge walk to convention center and free parking and Wi-Fi, which is convenient. read more

Our last stay we had poor front desk help from Keiko and her supervisor. She refused to give the rewards points for our stay and when we let them know we have a choice of hotels for conferences and vacations we were told we could choose another hotel. ?!? Looks like we will be switching to more amenable hotel chains for business and vacations. Stay somewhere else for the money this place is a dump compared to other hotels in the area, the deadbolt hardly worked in our room we could hear the next door room talking clearly, its old which is fine but its old and falling apart toilet paper holder lose small bathroom one light in it over shower area old drop ceiling when you close bathroom door it swishes the roof of bathroom. no trash bags in trash cans, super small tv do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere read more

Worst hotel experience I've had ever.. Paying $200 for a room that shouldn't be more than $80. Room is super humid and stinks and has no windows to open or even an exhaust fan in the bathroom.. Shower is gross and has broken plug, not that I'd be brave enough to sit in it. Finding hairs on all linens.. yuck! I was concerned the pool would be too cold because it's partially outside so I called before making reservation and was told that the pool was 80 degrees so my 4yr old and I could swim comfortably all we want.. Nope! So cold! Maybe the hot tub was 80 degrees. So disappointing.. checking in was a joke too, it was supposed to be at 4 but our room wasn't ready until 5.. fun entertaining a 4yr old while we wait. read more

I just finished a 4 night stay here and don't have any complaints. We got a decent rate on Hotels.com and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The location is great because there are a bunch of tasty places to eat within walking distance. Basic amenities were included in the cost and free wifi was available in the room so that's a huge plus in my book. When I come back to this area I will be staying in the same hotel. read more

This weekend was my third time staying here and all three have been very pleasant experiences. Every time I call to make my reservations I am always greeted by a pleasant and knowledgeable person on the phone. When we book a group rate our rooms are always near each other. The rooms are not huge but can easily fit 2-3 people with hockey gear and luggage. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They give you a ton of pillows on the beds. The lobby is warm and comfortable. There is usually a basket of apples at the front desk. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful at check in. Breakfast was included with our room. The wait staff always seem to be very busy. This time we had Tawnee (I hope I am remembering her name correctly) and she was very pleasant even though she seemed to have more tables than she could reasonably handle. When we found out our team made it to the championship game the front desk allowed us to have late check out so we could shower and pack up after our game! I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Wenatchee! read more

We were planning a last minute trip over to Leavenworth to see the tree lighting ceremony and didn't really want to drive there and back in one day. Unfortunately everything sells out in Leavenworth way in advance, so Wenatchee was the closest place I could find a hotel. I'd never heard of Coast hotels, but they had a decent price ($90 AAA rate), and they accepted dogs for a $10 fee (we ended up leaving the puppy with grandma so that was a moot point). We were really only in the room for about twelve hours, so the only thing I can comment on is that the beds were comfy, the hotel was very quiet (even though we were right next to the elevator) and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The bathrooms could use some updating, but the room overall wasn't bad. I peeked in their exercise room and they had a nice treadmill, a couple of ellipticals, a stairstepper and some dumbbells. I'm not sure this would be my first choice for staying in Wenatchee again (the brand new Holiday Inn down the street looked a little nicer, as did the SpringHill Suites), but in a pinch, it's perfectly fine. read more
