food was exceptionally delicious especially the specialty pizza, when there was an issue with my takeout order they went so far above and beyond to make it right I couldn't believe that level of customer service still exists in this world. First timer and we ordered lots of food at Cefalu's and everything was delicious, I will be back for more. The items that stood out: - pizza was classic! - beet salad - perfect balance of the arugula to the sweet beets and other ingredients. My friend who "hates arugula" ate and loved this salad!! - eggplant lasagna - my friends ate it so quickly and loved it... I tried the sauce and will try this again next time! - lemon pepper chicken wings - yum! I usually don't order at Italian restaurants but had a recent craving and these were so so good, everyone was eying the final wing. I was stuffed but went back for some more. My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight and we're very impressed. We started with the calamari salad which was on the specials list. The flavor and texture of the calamari was fresh and the salad was well dressed. For entrees we had spaghetti and meatballs and the agnolotti amatriciana which were both excellent. Their meatballs are delicious and the spaghetti was perfectly cooked. The homemade agnolotti were delicious and the amatriciana sauce was the star of the meal - sweet, spicy, and loaded with flavor. Morgan our waitress was very attentive and we were well taken care of. We will be back and can't wait to try more of the menu. read more

Staff would score a 5, they are phenomenal. The food is good, and I would rate higher if pricing was more reflective of the quality of the plate. I've had a couple of dishes here as the location is convenient although none wowed me. A la vodka was a 3 regardless, chicken masala was a 4 but the taste was not deep as I would expect a $26 plate to be. If this was a $20 plate it would rate a 4, but at this price, the plate of chicken with pasta, no bread on the side, rates a 3. Good but not great. The owner seems like a great guy and the staff all have been wonderful. And, the a la vodka slice is to die for! read more

Sorry to say but it was gross! The menu looks good but the quality of the food is subpar! We ordered a pasta fagioli soup. After heating it up, it smelled funny. I called and learned they put prosciutto in pasta fagioli soup! Ewwww who does that?! Why wasn't it mentioned on the menu?! Gross and I never heard of this soup with fatty meat. When will these restaurants learn? Other dishes like salads and pastas are so so- not a lot of flavor and not incredibly fresh. read more

Don't be fooled by the simple pizza place exterior! Hard to say what was better the food or service. Every single person from hostess, food runner, and even the owner were welcoming and professional. The owner gave us some food suggestions based on our preferences. We had the calamari appetizer, short rib cavatelli, the pesto agnolotti, and steak frites. The short rib cavatelli was so tender, flavorful, and just delicious. The pesto agnolotti was not something we would typically order but will definitely get it again. The homemade pasta was perfect and the crumbled sausage on top was a great addition. Lastly, the steak frites was cooked medium rare- exactly to order, sliced nicely, and served with herbed butter and fresh thin fries. We will definitely be back! read more

Just so good, service was great, super attentive and very sweet. The food was great, really delicious, and nice and hot, which I very much appreciate. Dessert menu looked great too, but I'd have to skip dinner to be able to eat it-maybe we'll just pop in for dessert sometime. Nearly a 5, but definitely a 5 for the price. Lovely new owner had improved upon Primo Prianti. Chicken, seafood & pasta dishes all excellent. Best Chicken Milanese I've ever had anywhere. Young staff but earnest & sweet. Great neighborhood place. read more

Dined at Cefalu on Saturday night. 4/4 persons were definitely disappointed. Very small portions for the 2 pasta dishes served in what appeared to be soup bowls. The dish with Cheese stuffed pasta with Pesto and sausage came with a small sprinkling of crumbled sausage on top (Probable a fourth of one sausage if that). My buddy had the Broccoli Raab with sausage...again, a soup bowl with hotdog like sausage. The ladies both had the Shrimp Parm...nothing special. Not much value for the price. Good Service, way too loud, had to basically scream your conversations at your own table. Not going back. read more

Went here for a Friday night dinner and sat outside on the patio. The food was great and the view on the patio was beautiful. The owner came over to the table and was so nice and welcoming. The Stinger pizza is a must try. We also got the cacio e pepe balls and the red snapper special which were both delicious. Don't miss out on the sorbet before you go.
