We received e-mails confirming our reservation and deposit, followed up with the company multiple times prior to the day of our senior prom, and even spoke individually to Nicole at CelebLux Limos to make sure everything was set beforehand. HOWEVER, when it came to following through, they FAILED. They didn't show up. They were not responsive to our multiple phone calls. This is an updated review for CelebLux. While I had a very poor experience previously at CelebLux, their management has recently changed, with their new staff reaching out to me in response to my previous Yelp review. I expressed that we had previously sought a refund, which the new management generously provided, even though they are separate financially from the previous owner. They went further to offer me a discount on future services. It appears that the new management at CelebLux is committed to providing a better customer service, both through their retiring of old car models, hiring of new staff, and positive outreach. Terrible experience. Very disappointing! The actual limo was great- but that was it. The company makes it sound like you'll have this awesome VIP experience and that cover to the clubs is included. I still have the email where they state " as far as the clubs we work with and can get you into with no cover are about 90% of them downtown but I would recommend the following " and then they list off a few. Our group was under the impression that we could get into the clubs recommend by the limos service just for booking with them. We were so wrong! It is a scam! We were humiliated when we were turned away at the door. Literally laughed at! One "bouncer" outside of club shay told us that celeb lux had no right to advertise free cover into the clubs. They are privately owned (as is Paris- where we turned away) and none of the limo companies work with the clubs!! When we first called Giovani at celeb lux he apologized for misunderstanding (aka lie) and said he would make some calls and see what he could do for us. Calls back, tells us where to go, and to just say "Giovanni from celeb lux limos called your manager, we should be all set to come in" they really laughed at us like we were just making it up!! It was so embarrassing!! At this point Giovanni stopped being so nice, and said that its common sense to call and reserve tables/ reservations at the clubs separately. & it was stupid of us not to do so! Are you kidding me!? I have the email stating that this limo service could get us into the clubs. Not all, but at least half a dozen or so.-- just to find out that we can't get into any!! I told them what I had in mind for the night, and told them I was looking for a service that included the price of cover in the price of the limo ( which was 720$ total for 5hrs)-- so just to get my money they lied and said they were one of them!! ~DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY~My son and his date were to have a Rolls Royce for their prom on May 19th. His date's mother contracted with the company, paid them in full, and requested the vehicle. She was initially told the vehicle wasn't available. She told them that was unacceptable and they guaranteed the vehicle would be there at the designated time (5p). The day of prom the vehicle showed up at the location but it was at the wrong time (3p). The driver was also not dressed professionally which was unsettling. The mother called immediately and was told and assured by the company that the car would return at the originally scheduled time (5p). It did not. We waited until 6:30p and our children were forced to drive one of our cars. When the mother reached out to the company to complain and demand a full refund she was told that because they used a third party subcontractor they were unable to refund the monies. BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE. It's clear these people overbook their cars, hire non professional drivers and take money from people they feel they can subsequently take advantage of. It is not cheap to rent from companies like this however if a service is paid for then a service is expected in return. When the contractual obligation is f met then a full refund is warranted. On the morning of my wedding day, less than 3 hours before my ceremony was starting, I received a completely unprofessional text of my classic car on a tow truck. I had no option but to take whatever car they gave me because my wedding was in 3 hours. The car I was given was not at all what I wanted, and the door didn't shut, and my photographer had to hold the car door closed the whole ride to the church. When I reached out afterward to get some form of a refund, they acted like they cared for a couple of weeks, and then completely stopped responding to me. I noticed that the driver was not here at 5:30 so I waited until 5:40pm before I called to see what was going on with the driver. supposedly the driver was in a accident and was hit from the back. Ok I understood that. I was told that they found a new driver and it was 20min away. The new driver arrived at 6:20pm in a 22 Lincoln Navigator. Not the car I paid for on top of all this I still paid the price they were charging and I didn't get the 2hrs I paid for. I contacted the company and explained the situation. I told them that this was unacceptable and if it's not resolved I will be contacting the attorney general's office and taking the next steps. I was asked to give them 24hr to fix the problem. After the 24hr I get another text saying wait another day. Why do this company think I should be waiting for them to get they company together. They want the contract met with payments, but upset because I'm upset. This was my son prom I don't get a do over. This was his special day. Due to me telling them they on a time frame they feel threatened so they not understand it's about the principal of the situation .. My daughter and son in law rented a white rolls royce for their wedding day - a couple of days before the wedding it suddenly "broke down" and they sent a replacement car. On the outside the Bentley they sent looked fine - but inside - what a horrible experience. The whole backseat was torn and sunken. Also no air conditioning - in a car that cost over $1000!!! Additionally the driver was not dressed appropriately for a wedding for the price and occasion and instead of opening the doors for us he was on his phone texting. We ordered a limo for an event in Chicago, driving from Libertyville. There were 6 of us. The driver started out by being an hour late to pick us up. He claimed he took an airport pickup prior us and the flight was delayed. This is not acceptable. Next he drove like an absolute lunatic back and forth from the event. He tried to ask for payment after dropping us off at the event. I told him, no - we will pay you after the event as discussed. Prior the event being over, he was calling me, asking if we were ready to go yet. After being an hour late he was trying to pressure us to leave early! He definitely seemed like he was on something. He definitely wasn't sober. Then after dropping us off at home, he demanded more money than the original quote and then wanted a tip above and beyond. Very unprofessional company. We had booked a trolley earlier this year. Was told later on that the trolley we reserved was no longer available because we did not put a deposit down. We were told it was not necessary. We have email clarifying it was not necessary. Stefano was the one in helping us out, he later told us they were getting more trolleys in. He sent photos and we selected one. WE PAID IT OFF. We have email documents stating we were good to go and I have email confirmation that the trolley was paid off. I called today to add more hours to our trolley and Omar stated he would update that. I got called 2x back to confirm details. The 3rd time he called back he apologized because our "reservation was never booked". He said the person who took the reservation never booked it in their system? The company accepted my money for the trolley knowing that it was not booked. Had I not called today to add more hours, we would not have transportation the day of the wedding June 12. Now they said they are all out of trolleys for us. Angelina VP operations is supposed to have Giovanni whom is supposedly the owner call us back. Cannot trust this company, clearly after having documentation's of everything they have neglected to confirm everything even though they said they did. Customer service needs to improve, very disappointed in this company. I called within a week's time and asked for a bus b/c a previous service (Chitown Limobus) did not have a good plan for my mother's 50th bday experience and weren't accommodating at all. It seems as though they weren't interested in making money and not assisting their clients and had the owner operating and running everything and being unavailable and all. So, I called Celeblux Limos and David the dispatcher handled everything for me amazingly! He followed up with me daily and we had a easy process and he was ALWAYS accessible for questions. The day the bus arrived, everyone was excited and it was exactly what we thought it would look like and how it would be! Awesome! Shout out to Lorenzo the driver for being amazing, a gentleman, courteous, helping. He was sooo kind, and cool. He showed me how to work everything on the bus, and really made my mom's day special. He helped the ladies off of the bus as a gentleman should and called me or texted me to see what are plans were at the current time. Had no problems at our stops. He was totally amazing! We used this company on our wedding day and they did ok. They took us where we needed, did not get lost. We did run a little over on time by 20min. We offered to pay extra but the way our driver answered us had some attitude with it, "you could just tip me." The only thing that didn't work in the limo was the sound system. I called earlier asking if we needed our own aux cord or does it connect by bluetooth. We brought our own aux cord just in case. We had trouble turning the sound system on and the driver wasn't very helpful or specific as to how to turn it on. We figured it out the first time by just pushing random things. When it was the whole group back in the limo after the church he didn't even show us before getting in what to push. So no music pretty much to keep our hype up after the church to our picture destinations. We even got our driver a hotdog and fries because one of our picture destinations was our first date spot. The 25 of us had to make last minute transportation arrangements because of the grossly irresponsible way in which they run their business and handle their customers. I reserved a Limo Bus and put down a $120 deposit to secure the reservation 4 days in advance. I called on our pickup date at 8pm to confirm location and pickup time of 10PM and everything sounded good. Then I get a call at 10:15, 15 Minutes after the bus is supposed to be here, and he tells me the bus has electrical issues and cannot come anymore. If the bus had an issue, they would've known about it well before 1015pm, but just didn't bother to tell me. Or the bus didn't have electrical issues at all and they were flat out lying because they overbooked it. I asked for my $120 deposit back and he said he couldn't do it until Monday. Monday comes, and no refund. They didn't refund my $120 deposit until I disputed my credit card statement. read more

Rented the large party bus for my son's homecoming dance. Stefano was great to work with from beginning to end. At the last minute, there ended up being a problem with the bus, but Stefano sent a replacement bus that accommodated the whole group and that the kids loved. More expensive I am sure than our original rental but they never asked for an extra penny. I know that some people have written that the company was unresponsive or hard to get in touch with. That was not my experience. Stefano picked up the phone on the second ring whenever I called and was as concerned about our event as I was. The exterior was nice, but everything else was a flop. We got a stretch SUV and the people were great working with them.... but the day of service was horrible. We ordered a 22 person stretch SUV (Mercedes). When they arrived, they had a red carpet service ready and champagne for us to toast. They also did come on time. When we got in the car, the driver got lost and a 5 minute ride ended up taking 20 minutes. In the meanwhile, the interior was falling apart -- plastic guardrails were ducktaped down, the vents were missing the plastic, and there was a jagged edge from the handles breaking. To top it off, the AC didn't work and the air smelled like exhaust. We had to keep the windows open to let the gas fumes out. It was hard to breath and all 22 of us smelled like gas on our way to the reception hall. I don't recommend their service at all. I give them two stars because they were timely and the service was good until the day of the wedding. They were prompt about responding. However, the day of experience was horrible and the condition of their cars and the driver. Thus, 2 stars. read more

CelebLux "Gangsta Limo" Gangster (Crook) Company Let me get right to it..... My family recently ordered early and reserved, a Rolls Royce "Gangsta" Limo (10 passenger), for our father's birthday celebration. This company sent us a dirty, raggedy, (inside and outside) vehicle, that barely sat the 8 of us. The interior was coming apart, broken fixtures, dried up liquid spills, food crumbs, broken music player, loud screeching suspension, dents, scratches, peeling paint. Even a blue paint transfer (on white limo), a very noticeable cracked rear bumper, no ice, no soda, 2 bottles of water (weird taste), no glasses, a rolled-out red carpet that was dirty & burgundy in color. Oh it looked like it had been in some sort of gangster fight! This "Lux Limo" didn't even have the "Rolls Royce" emblem on the hood; And this is just a partial list of problems. We called the company before we drove off but got no answer, ( not surprised!). CelebLux Limos, pulled a real bait and switch. They must have used some other company's Limo pictures on their website. I don't know what this company was thinking; We did not ask to reserve-a-wreck! But we will let potential renters know what happened with us. You can not totally disregard and disrespect people/customers. We are the reason you are in business (for now). Some things went wrong with the vehicle, but they made every effort to fix things and had great follow-up afterwards. The driver made here feel like a Princess, allowing her to play her music, not rushing her, and chatting on her level. its a week later and she is still talking about this experience. Beware of this company! I was booked for a stretch Limo for my daughter's wedding the weekend of 4/30/16. My deposit was taken out, and both e-mailed and a called,follow-up confirmation. Come wedding day, no limo appeared. when i called, someone answered with "oh wow", as to my reservation. He said he would call back in 10 min. To this day, I never heard from him or the company again. Not an apology, nor an explanation. I had to report it as fraud to get my money back from the credit card company. Every time I called subsequently, the mailbox was always full. All night long, I had to find another company, on prom night I might add, to have transportation for my kids. The Bentley was replaced for the Mercedes suv limo because he said the Bentley wasn't ready. Well obviously the Mercedes SUV wasn't ready either......
