There is huge turnover with their front office and billing staff which explains why they are so careless with people's dental claims. They overbook patients leading to extremely long wait times upfront in the wait room with NO WiFi for patients and while in the chair for even the most routine of procedures. Hygienists and actual Dr.s also do not last long. There is huge turnover. The newer very good dentist Dr. C. has now indicated she too is leaving! Parking is very limited in a lot where most parking is reserved for other vendors customers and paperwork is constant. They do NOT answer their phones! I showed up today and the front counter gal said the 16-minute procedure was $495 (but she changed her tune when I told her to look at their own website). However, after waiting almost 1/2 hour, she told me the doctor would need to consult with me, plus I'd have to get x-rays. That's not what I understood from my phone appointment. To her credit they offered me the extra work at no charge, but no dentist should require a full set of x-rays (think lots of radiation) just to do a quickie in-office whitening procedure. I was a little suspicious when my X-rays were taken at the speed of light and the actual camera was shaking during them..my last dentist would always take those over... later in the appointment the dental tech that was supposed to clean my teeth came to give me an estimate on my cleaning?!? This was NEW...and it was another $350. I was like what?!? I have insurance that you take and it covers cleaning. She literally says to me..you have an infection..hmm well that's weird because I just got off of 2 weeks of antibiotics for an illness not to mention I don't feel or see one...AND your dentist just came in and said I have some of the best teeth he's ever seen and I just had my teeth cleaned 7 months ago...They would not clean my teeth without me paying them so I left. Pissed by the way...fast forward 2 weeks when I get into another local dentist that takes my insurance I told him everything Sage dental said -He said first of all oral cancer screenings are free and they charged me. My X-rays should of been covered by my insurance and so should my cleaning and in NO WAY did I have an infection. Which is what they tried to tell me when they wanted to charge me $350 out of pocket just for a cleaning. That place is CRIMINAL! He's like, you have one of the least problematic mouths I have ever seen. They are clearly trying to rip people off. DO NOT GO THERE unless you like throwing away money and being lied to.
