No stars. We've been customers for a long time with 2 small dogs. Today I dropped them off and…read morewas informed our usual groomer was gone and we had a new person, but there were no notes for either dog. Needless to say, not off to a great start. I explained what I wanted for each dog and she seemed to understand. We got the call that the dogs were done, much sooner than anticipated. When I arrived I was told she couldn't "finish" one of them because she was nipping at the clippers. I get it, it happens. I pay for both dogs and was given a 20% discount for the dog not "finished'. Of course they expect payment and tip before you even see the dogs, shame on me for not insisting on seeing them first. Turns out not finished meant they only shampooed the dog and nothing else, $65. Keep in mind this is a 6 pound dog. We called to speak to someone about this, but no surprise we have gotten no return call. The groomer who took care of the dogs left in a hurry, perhaps she couldn't finish our dog because she had somewhere to go. Clearly I've been had, even tipped the groomer for doing almost nothing. And paid these people $65 for a shampoo. Do not make the same mistake I've made, find another place to have your dog groomed. (Also, I'd appreciate a referral)

Right before work, my air conditioner broke on the first hot day this summer. I didn't know where to go so my dog wouldn't suffer. I called a few places with my situation, but The Water Bowl was the only one who answered the call. Immediately they understood and didn't blink an eye about bringing him in so they could help. Having used daycares in the past, it's always been a process to register your pet. -- That didn't matter to them. They genuinely cared about an animal they hadn't even met yet. Needless to say, even having air conditioning again, Charlie still goes to daycare on a regular basis. The care, attention, and love they give him always shines through when I pick him up. The original owner sold the business, and then it was sold again and then a third and possibly a forth time. ALL of these owners have honored any previous purchased packages. The current owner will not honor previous purchases packages. She says they are different companies. This may be true, but it is certainly not in the spirit of goodwill. BEWARE of the new owner and look around for a more friendly dog day care. It is not the loss of the money which bother me, but the owner's attitude. Her complete disregard for my situation.
