Great little local restaurant. Found it a bit pricey but for the area I am sure it's on point. I ordered a delish espresso martini and the fig & prosciutto pizza. Was a bit disappointed that the hostess advised I'd have at least an hour and a half wait as I was alone and there were no others waiting outside or anywhere I could see. Luckily I asked if the bar was open seating and it turned out to be first come, first served. Found a lone spot at the outside bar which was perfect! The bartender was very nice and did not seem to mind my dining solo as the rest of the bar was completely seated (inside also full bar). The pizza crust was delish but unfortunately came to me already cold...disappointing considering the price point. Had two slices and boxed the remaining to bring back home. Opted for a dessert to take home as well, dark chocolate tart. Coffee with kahlua to go with the side of salted caramel gelato. Also delish, however, they charged $3 for the coffee and $14 for the barely a shot of kahlua that I definitely could not taste. Bummer. Really wanted to love everything! Maybe next time visiting the USCGA (if we make it up there again) the food will be hot and worth every penny. read more

Today we had a late day lunch date at this beautiful place located right in the pier. It is absolutely stunning inside and out. The real olive trees are everywhere and everything is just so beautifully designed & decorated. The atmosphere is just perfect we sat at the outside bar and our bartender was wonderful. She was so friendly and welcoming to everyone and the service was wonderful. The food was fantastic we cannot wait to go back. It was a busy night at Celeste with a sold out wine dinner and a full bar when we arrived. Service was nonexistent. We sat at the bar and waited a long while to get a drink. We didn't mind waiting to place a food order but the food was mediocre at best. Flavorless arancini, room temp shrimp and a bland, mostly iceberg lettuce kale salad. So very disappointing. This was our first time at Celeste, which is fairly new after the owners closed, renovated and reimagined this restaurant. We think they did a great job! The food and service were outstanding. We shared their Celeste salad featuring watercress & arugula, couscous, chickpea, golden raisin, cashew, grilled onion, Calabrian chili vinaigrette. Despite being a salad, it took a little while to get out to us. We were enjoying our drinks and weren't in a rush, but our waiter offered us some humus, which was a nice touch. They also served some delicious focaccia bread and oil to start. Our entrees were excellent. My wife's scrod was fantastic. It was served with crispy potatoes, roasted garlicky broccolini, almond romesco sauce underneath. I ordered the chicken Milanese, served with tri-colore salad, fennel, slow-roasted tomatoes, lemon. It is essentially a chicken cutlet (which I knew when I ordered it). It was a decent portion, tender and moist. We were celebrating a birthday, which we did with an unbelievable chocolate tart. It had chocolate crumb, salted caramel chocolate chunk and raspberry sauce. We liked their menu. There is a variety of food to choose from - from sandwiches and pizza to entrees. First off, we had a fantastic waiter/ bartender named Zach. Very familiar with everything in the place. We were really fascinated,by the way he explained the sandwiches and dinners and drinks. We then went on to our decision which was for Italian beef sandwich. Sandwich it was the living end. I know I finally found the holy Grail of braised beef sandwich. Celeste is one of our favorite restaurants in Narragansett! The service is always amazing, and the food is delicious! I recently made a reservation via their website, and when we arrived I realized that I made the reservation for the following Friday by mistake. The host was incredibly gracious, and was able to set us outside. I don't know how he did it, but we were incredibly grateful. As to the person who added a video and noted that "there are many steps to be aware of" to the entrance, let it be known that there is also a very long ramp which will also bring you to the front door with no steps. read more

I must say this venue is one of the best in the Narragansett area. The style of the restaurant is very nice. The food is excellent, the service as well. I had a very special experience. Just make sure if you go to reserve or ask for the table at the end of the outside bar, right on the left corner. That is the best spot on the house because of the ocean view. Can't wait to go back. Our family has been going to Trio for years (often for dinner on the patio after a late afternoon swim at the beach), and we were a little nervous that this new iteration might not live up to its predecessor. Well, no worries there. We ate on the patio as usual. The new outside bar is gorgeous -- facing the water and with beautiful tile work. We had drinks and split several small plates. For me, the standouts were the Jonah crab, shrimp soffrito, lamb meatballs, and berry clafouti. Our server was friendly and did all he could to help, even finding us the last plate of focaccia when they thought they were out. Visited recently with a friend for apps and drinks, and couldn't have been happier. The renovations and redesign are beautiful. The space is light, pretty, and the attention to detail was sublime. As an interior designer I was thrilled! The drink menu had a multitude of delicious sounding options, and I was thrilled with my choice as was my dining partner. We enjoyed oysters, tuna crudo, and the lamb meatballs and all three were indeed delicious. The lamb meatballs were bursting with flavor and the sauce and grilled bread were the perfect accompaniment. Crudo was fresh and the olive and caper topping added just enough! Service was great. Attentive and friendly without being overbearing. We finished our visit with the basque cheesecake and it did not disappoint. The texture of the cheesecake was sublime and the brown butter caramel to die for. I couldn't be happier about having a fresh "new" spot to enjoy in Narragansett! read more

I have sat at the bar before and it was really nice to take a walk on the wall with my partner and grab a drink! But i recently got take out on a whim from them and it was amazinggggg! The chorizo/rice and shrimp entree was so flavorful, arancini was cheesy and delicious and they even had the spanish cheesecake "burnt basque" i've been making it for years but it was even better (especially with the caramel sauce!).
