I took my Kia Carnival in for trade in but I'm glad I did some research before I sold. I told the rep that the car had been in an accident. When they did the research they told me their online offer would go from $23,000 down to $20,000. I was told that the accident showing up showed the airbag had gone off...it hadn't. Fortunately I had an offer from Car Max for $28,000. The rep "assured me" that Car Max wouldn't give me that amount because of the "airbag being deployed." I was concerned to say the least. When I brought my car to CarMax they honored their online offer of $28,000. I would NEVER sell my car at Centennial Hyundai. Get multiple quotes and make sure to get one from Car Max and Carvana. Why go Centennial Hyundai first? They had the car we wanted and if we could have gotten close on a trade we would have bought a car from them. Why 2 stars and not 1? I would like to think this was somehow an honest error (but I doubt it, there's no way that Car Max would give me full price if my car had the airbag deployed) but it felt super dishonest....the car rep (salesman) was cordial. read more

But that lack thereof both, led me to go to AAA Auto Repair (on advice of a Hyundai Service Supervisor due to the lack of "what they could do") At AAA Auto repair I have received wonderful service. Including detecting a cracked fuel pump that 2021+ Santa Fe's are known to have but my 2020 was advised to "just let AAA fix it" then when I did- Hyundai cant assist with any goodwill compensation (on a 2020 with 47,000 miles on it) Buyer beware- this is no longer the Hyundai I have known and loved for decades. read more

DO NOT BUY OR LEASE A CAR FROM HERE. Centennial Hyundai is horrible. They are (in my experience) scammers and will add taxes and fees that are not needed for the sale. But the final straw happened today when I tried to buy out my lease. I went into the store and started speaking with Jose. I showed him my list of paperwork I needed for the lease end because my credit union needed the paperwork for my loan. Jose called Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF), apparently a different company, and after he got everything set up, he handed me the phone. The rep at HMF told me my payoff was $24,085.70, taxes included, out the door. After we hung up, Jose told me we had to sign paperwork. When he brought out the paperwork, the total after tax he presented was $26,997. Yes, almost $3,000 more than my actual payoff amount. Even the pretax number was higher than my buyout cost. I told him no and said when it's $24,085.70, I'll sign. He comes back with his boss Victor and something like $25K. I say, "Why does it keep changing?" Jose and Victor were both adamant that the number was the same. The face I made when I asked them how these numbers are all the same when they are clearly different. Like, are they trying to play me as stupid? I said the rep on the phone said taxes were included. I looked at Jose and said, "Right?" He goes, "Oh, I didn't hear them say that." WHAT? I told him to call back and put it on speaker. As we're calling, Victor goes back to the office to figure out the next scam. We call the rep back, and this time Jose hears the number. When Victor comes back out, Jose tells him it was $24,085.70, taxes included. This is when Victor starts bullshitting about title fees and whatever because im financing. I say I'm not signing, and I leave. I go to my car and call HMF and speak to a manager. She says that $24,085.70 is definitely the payoff amount. I ask her if I can bypass the dealership and work directly with HMF, AND I CAN. She said I should have the documents by Monday. That was so easy. BUT I'll post an edit if they add more fees. After leaving, I called Centennial Hyundai to complain. As I let the person I'm talking to, who was not a manager but said "she could help", explain the situation. The call ended with her saying, in a mocking/snarky voice, "Of course we're not trying to scam people. Everyone knows about taxes. Bring any salesperson from the country and they know." Shortly after, Victor calls me to explain himself so he can sleep at night. He's saying that those taxes were mandatory since I was financing, even though he knew the financing was with my own bank. He said that the number, $24,085.70, didn't come from them but came from HMF. He said that HMF added taxes and the real number was like $22K, and he had to add taxes. So I said, "So is it you that's scamming me? I'm glad we're on the same page." The way this guy started stuttering... He didn't know what to do. I ended the call saying, "I got it all figured out with HMF for $24,085.70. They didn't scam me, so do whatever you have to do to help yourself sleep at night. Have a good night" Salespeople are scummy. When your salary, commission, or whatever comes from selling to people, they will do and say whatever it takes to make the sale and add bullshit to raise the price. The type of people who become salespeople are vultures and scam artists. TL;DR: Centennial Hyundai tried adding fees above what I was supposed to pay. Skip the dealership for the payoff and go straight to HMF. THE SALESPEOPLE WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU FOR MORE MONEY. Call them out on their shit, or just leave. But don't let them scam you. When you create an appointment without an additional 3 days attached to it. So what the problem is here is that " if you bring your vehicle on a Thursday you won't here anything about your vehicle until Tuesday for service. At the earliest, so why make an appointment. This is not very good customer service when you can't even be honest about projected time. It was for a diagnostic and it only takes 2 minutes for this. It's equivalent to making a dinner reservation and at 5:30pm and not being able to eat 2 to 3 days later. read more

Another disappointing experience with the Service Center. I brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change and ended up waiting in the lobby for over two hours without any updates. They did provide five recommendation of service which we declined at this time to think about it and we would reschedule another service appointment. When I approached the service desk to ask about the status of my vehicle, Martha told me they had just started working on it and that it would be another hour. After waiting even longer, I finally spoke with my Service Advisor, Daniel, who was amazing--courteous, professional, and genuinely helpful. He informed me that my vehicle had actually been ready since the time I first spoke with Martha. I went back to Martha to clarify why I had been told the vehicle had just been started when it had apparently been ready for nearly an hour. Her response was simply, "There must have been a miscommunication." There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I appreciate Daniel's excellent customer service, but the lack of communication and accountability at the service desk made for a very frustrating experience. Customers should not have to spend hours waiting unnecessarily because of inaccurate information. read more

Centennial Hyundai Shows No Respect for Customer Vehicles beyond point of sale. In March 2025, we purchased an Earthy Brass Santa Fe Calligraphy from Centennial Hyundai. From the start, the dealership made it very clear that matte vehicles should never go through their automated car wash. This warning came from everyone involved, including the trade-in manager, sales associate, and finance manager. Despite this, the problems started immediately. After taking the car home, we noticed a 4 inch scratch on the passenger side roofline. We reported it, and while the dealer said they would take care of it, the process was disastrous. The paint shop drove the vehicle recklessly on the way to the shop and then took an 18 plus mile detour south on the way back to the dealership. When it returned, the service department sent the car through their automated wash, causing additional scratches. These were two separate instances that showed the dealership themselves and their proxies simply do not handle customer vehicles with respect. After demanding proper attention, they washed the car again, causing more damage. At that point, I insisted on a refund and credit toward another Santa Fe. They processed this reluctantly, even trying to make me absorb depreciation caused entirely by their mishandling. Fast forward to today. I took the replacement vehicle, a matte Ecotronic Gray Santa Fe, in for service. While they avoided the automated wash this time, a service technician scratched the driver's interior door and the exterior of the rear driver's door, my guess is from keys on a carabiner. Promises of follow-up calls about the damage and an outstanding recall never came. To top it off, the managers will make sure you fill out the corporate survey to their satisfaction while still in the office, showing exactly where their priorities lie. The bottom line is that Centennial Hyundai does not respect customer property beyond the point of sale. Their service department mismanages vehicles, ignores follow-through, and causes unnecessary damage. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, especially if you own a matte vehicle or care about how your car is treated. read more

Ok, here's the deal.... Mom got talked into an upside down deal two years ago, and after two years of payments she owes so much more than the car is worth. Enter Joe, the nice one, lol cause there's two Joe's. We didn't know about the above situation until Joe had spent more than four hours with us. Even when we thought this deal couldn't possibly go through he was working with us about how to handle this, who to call, what to do. He pulled a deal out of no where, and I mean NO WHERE, and worked with financing to pull this through. It was a total of six hours with us. Shauna gave me a terrible trade‑in value with high‑pressure sales, and Johnathan in Finance buried me in over $10,000 of extras (about $5,000 in bogus oil/battery add‑ons and nearly $5,000 for a barely explained warranty) that I'm now paying interest on. Don't do it bruh. I don't know about the other dealerships, but this one will add double the usual price in add-ons. Will totally undervalue your trade-in, and will use very obvious techniques that only make them look foolish like going back to their manager three or four times to try to change the numbers and then when you look at the numbers they haven't even changed. I'm not sure how people fall for any of this other than maybe they just get tired but if you get tired then go to another dealership if they're not doing it for you. Like this place is just about greed. They all have the same greedy documentation fees, 799 plus tax which is already 200 plus over the state average, and Nevada has like one of the highest documentation fees. But also the add-ons were like twice what other dealerships try to do from the get-go. Nobody wants the stupid add-ons or maybe they're not even on the car already, but they usually charge you like $2,000 for a service that probably cost nothing for them to do. But this one actually tried to charge over $4,000 LOL Like come on, we know the cost of tinting and Perma plate isn't $4,000 plus dollars. Y'all are silly gooses. In the end it just felt like not only did they insult my intelligence, they wasted my time. So yeah I'm going to move on to either a completely different Hyundai dealership or a completely different brand because that really turned me off from Hyundai in general. Or just go straight to Carfax. Because by the time you go here even though Carfax is higher this place tries to charge you with an extra six grand out of nowhere LOL. And they clearly don't know how to negotiate so. Go anywhere else. I even went at the end of the month and they clearly weren't desperate to move anything off of their lot. Whomever runs this business should be fired! Three weeks ago I purchased a 2023 Kona with slightly over 22,0000 miles. I paid cash for the car. I drove the car 8 miles since I bought it. Today, when I got in my car, the battery was dead. When I called them and requested they replace the battery, I was told its warranty had expired two days ago, and refused to replace it or pay for the one I had to buy. This dealership just wants to sell you a car and they don't care about you afterwards. How can they sell you a car without even checking to see if the battery is working or not. I started working with a sales person at Centennial Hyundai on Saturday after getting approved through my credit union for a $25,000 auto loan. I came well-prepared: shared full financing details, zip code, trade info, and asked for a clean out-the-door quote so I could finalize quickly. Over the course of four days, I followed up respectfully and professionally. My tone was patient the entire time. I wasn't haggling or demanding--I just asked for a detailed breakdown and confirmation on warranty options so I could move forward. Despite this, most of my questions went unanswered. On Monday, after not hearing back, I sent a final message to check in--and was ignored. No reply, no courtesy message. Then I checked the listing today and found the vehicle was sold. To be clear: they never ran my credit. I did all of that on my own, came to them as a serious, qualified buyer, and still ended up ghosted. If you value communication, respect, and basic professionalism, be extremely cautious here. This experience felt dismissive and careless from start to finish. read more

I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at your location, specifically involving an employee named CJ. When I arrived, I clearly explained that I needed my car serviced quickly because it was my first day at a new job. I even said I was completely willing to reschedule if it couldn't be completed in time. CJ assured me it would be done before my deadline, so I trusted his word. Throughout the day, I kept asking for updates via text and was repeatedly told things like "just working on the quote" or "processing the parts." However, when my significant other and I drove by the lot multiple times, I noticed my car hadn't even been moved. So that must mean, It turns out the work had already been completed -- yet instead of being honest and contacting me, they were trying to upsell unnecessary services. As a result, I had to leave my car overnight, rearrange my partner's schedule last-minute, and show up to my new job under unnecessary stress -- all because of the lack of honesty and professionalism from CJ and the team. This was supposed to be a simple light replacement, not an all-day ordeal filled with misleading updates and delays. I'm extremely disappointed and feel that my time and trust were completely disrespected. Ten minutes later they bring the keys back and tell me a manager will present me with an offer sheet soon. Waiting. Waiting.... Waiting. TWO AND A HALF HOURS. No "we're working on your offer", no "sorry about the delay." It was literally like I was invisible. And the place wasn't slammed. There were never more than 2 or 3 other customers being helped in the showroom at any time. Finally I left, giving my contact info to the person that greeted me three hours earlier, telling him that they could send me the offer or call me. It's now 6pm and NOTHING. Ghosted. My air conditioner went out on my car a few weeks ago, I called Centennial Hyundai about it and they did not have anything available until Tuesday October 10th at 8:15am. Luckily the weather has cooled down here in Vegas so it wasn't bad driving around with no air. I arrived at my appointment Tuesday morning and was assisted by Henry, I advised him I had an extended warranty and that the air was not working, he advised me that they would do a multi vehicle inspection on it and check everything to see what was wrong. He called me a Lyft to take me home and advised me he would call me the next day and let me know what was going on. He called me Wednesday morning, and advised me the compressor had gone out and that it was covered under the extended warranty and they had the part in stock and would install and call when the car was ready, he called me later that day and advised me my car was ready to be picked up. I came in this morning Thursday October 12th and paid my $100 deductible for a $1300 service and went on my way, everyone purchase an extended warranty it's worth it! Henry thank you for being so kind and helpful and Calling me by name and remembering me that shows how Much you care about your customers! read more

Honestly buying a car here was an average experience compared to trading it in for an Audi, the Audi experience was next level but as I felt in the service center when I had issues and was lied to previously and poor customer experience, after trade-in and my car was paid off. I went to Hyundai waited to speak to a finance person and they said oh you'll just get your check mailed to you for the gap. I now got something in the mail from Hyundai finance saying to contact my gap provider or the dealership I bought it from which I tried to prior and they sent me to the bank before after waiting 30 minutes to have someone simply tell me I'll just wait for the bank. Now I'm back to this loop again. I've left multiple voicemails on finances. Voicemail line since trading in the car in December would not a single call back to a voicemail prior to me even going in that dealership I had left two voicemails before waiting for the finance department to tell me to wait on the bank. I now have left another voicemail with no callback. Maybe a poor review of their customer service and experienced will generate a call back for not only. How do I get my gap refunded to me but how they can improve. If you take anything from this post, it's not about the car you're getting but about the experience and customer service you get with buying a car I would steer clear from this dealership from service to finance, it's poor read more
