2021 was a tough year for all I am sure. We replaced washer, dryer and dishwasher all thru Center Appliance as the big box stores lied about non existing inventory and very poor customer service. Unfortunately 1.1 years later the washer died just before Christmas and I could not get anyone to look at it for WEEKS. I did not buy extended warranty either, so the manufacturer was of no help. Center stepped up and helped get a new washer to my home before the weekend and helped me out with a discount! I felt valued. Would a big box store do that? I really can't say enough good things about my experience at this store, they take progressive leasing which is an awesome company that allows people with limited or poor credit to finance over the course of three months same as cash or 12 months. The 12 month option obviously cost twice as much or more, so if you can, pay it off over three months. The gentleman I worked with was Cory, he couldn't have been more friendly and informative. He pointed me in all the right directions, knew what he was talking about and was a total sweetheart. He gave me the ins and outs of every refrigerator we looked at and made us feel very comfortable. It was a very easy transaction from the moment we got there until the moment we left, we drove all the way from Sacramento to Manteca because they are the closest appliance store that takes progressive leasing. Another smooth, hassle free purchase from Center Appliance! I have been a customer for about thirty years. Cory was my sales person again, for this purchase. Cory went to great lengths to match the new dishwasher with our other kitchen appliances. Not an easy task however, he achieved it and our kitchen looks lovely! They delivered it to Stockton the very next day. I elected to have it installed by their installers, as per usual. Terrific folks! Our water shut off valves were broken and wouldn't shut off. No problem for them, they met the challenges and proceeded and finished. After installation was completed and a wash cycle was run to ensure all was well, they went over the dishwasher functions, making sure I understood all the features that are on the unit. What an easy, awesome experience we had today purchasing appliances! My daughter just moved in to their first house and we went searching for a store locally. We saw great reviews on yelp for this place and found they were true. Victor was friendly, patient and thorough. She had a small space for a refrigerator and they not only looked up the specs, but since we bought the floor model, we had the guarantee that if it didn't fit, they could return it. Walked in on 11/1/2017, Cory spend time with me going through the stats of couple of models of refrigerators. I picked the Whirlpool,totally different model than what I went there for. Received 1300 dollars discount, 3200 refrigerator for 1900. They matched Home Depot prices to a penny, and the unit was delivered the same day, an hour or so after purchase. Really great experience. More than I have anticipated. Home depot gave me an estimate delivery December 5, these folks have done it in an hour. I had to order some parts to fix my dryer and unlike Sears that would have taken 3-5 business day, Center Appliance had it for me the next day. When we got there the story changed... "Apple's for apples" he kept repeating over and over very nervously. We showed him the price for the exact same "apples at another store. He asked us to wait a moment while he read over the website, tried to scare us with damaged product stories. How we would have to cover costs to return. SHOWED HIM HE WAS WRONG. He continued to skim website, told us they would drop at threshold? Ok not going to pay $500 to have you move across the room? Next, Cory.... Then he spent another 5 min reading over customer reviews.... Tried to discredit the "Apple" dealer that way. Came down to he had no where else to run, then it became, he Meant.... Apples to apples store wise. He tried to compare his store to Home depot, Lowe's, and Best Buy? I'm sorry Center Appliance you are not a multi billion dollar, fortune 500 company. Cory continued to back peddle. We weren't asking to match the price online... Were only asking that He give a measly 8.5% (tax) discount and come within $300 of the online price. I bought my first Refrigerator from them over 15 years ago. Free Delivery and paid $35 to have them hook up the ice maker. The line that was in the wall went no where - they reran the line through the ceiling - best $35 install ever. Since then I have purchase a dryer and recently a washer. Best delivery service! As a one-income family, we're used to learning to do things ourselves (whether we want to or not). As a woman, I'm used to being talked down to on the phone when I call to ask about cars, electronics, and appliances (or even having the employee ask to speak to my husband). Not so at Center Appliance! The person on the phone spoke to me as if I had a brain, named three things that could be wrong, and assumed I was either brainy enough or desperate enough to figure out how to remove and test them. Bingo! The faulty part (heating element) was identified! I called back to price a replacement to find that the part was not only in stock, but less than $40 (which was $20 less than Sears).
