Very disappointed, employees were incompetent. I called on a part for my dryer, parts guy said he has one in stock and gave me the price. I said I have an appliance guy working on my dryer and I would be there around 4 to pick it up. I drove 30min to get there and when I walked up to the guy at the counter he couldn't find the part that I was there for and told me they dont have it. I told him that I just spoke to parts department and they told me it was here. He asked me who I talked to and that there was only 1 person in parts department and they had know idea what I was talking about. They all just looked at me shrugging their shoulders and said sorry we can have it by Friday, this was Wednesday so three days without clean clothes when I should of had this resolved the same day. Meanwhile I am paying an appliance guy by the hour and now I have to schedule him to come back on Friday. I told the employee and parts guy the situation and they did not care at all. Terrible customer service, Terrible Communication, and Terrible management. I will never go there again and will not reccomend them to anyone. read more

Avoid buying General Electric dishwaters & stove appliances from Center Appliance.Yes,the staff is friendly,but when there is a problem,they refer you to the manufactors.The GE repair man let us know that since I had lifted up the top of the stove to check the gas line,that our warranty was voided. We have also had nothing but trouble with our dishwasher.I will never in my lifetime buy another General Electric product for the remainder of my life. And Center Appliance was not helpful in this regard also,only give us the customer service number for GE. read more

Don't order anything from this place unless your a physic, 2nd time ordering something and never received a call to say part was in, called in a second time in 2 weeks only to be told "o yeah it came in the other day"...thanks but no thanks... read more

Went in looking for a "basic" washer....and got exactly what I wanted!!! Tired of all the digital an touchy feely options. Back to basics! An they were great! No up sell just plain good ol honesty. A tough find nowadays. Made a purchase, scheduled a delivery for next day, removed the old an installed the new. Easy. Will definitely go back! Good job. read more

I've been wondering if there is some type of washer basin contraption I could place in my washer so I could do hand washing without buying a new washer. Guess I was dreaming. Someone, please design it and I will buy it. Service! Service! Service! I've never left reviews for any place I've ever bought anything from but I felt compelled to do so for Center Appliance. To make a long story short, I needed to finally replace my washing machine after 20 years of loyal service to my family. I first went to Home Depot but like always, the help lacked any knowledge of appliances. Poor guy had no clue about appliances in general. He was able to tell me that if I had bought washing machine from them, they would be able to deliver it by Thursday this week. Not good for me so I decided to go to Center Appliance, a local appliance store in my town. I was simply going to Center Appliance to compare prices. Thank God I did. As I walked through the door, Corey, a sales rep approached me & asked me what type of appliance I was interested in. After explaining exactly what I needed as far as brand & price, he lead me to Whirlpool Cabrio. He proceeded to explain to me the features of the washing maching. He demonstrated how to load the machine, what type of detergent to use, & even go as far as comparing other washing machine in his showroom. I'm definitely not in Home Depot anymore. Needless to say I was sold. I actually bought the matching set (Whirlpool washer/dryer). Look, Home Depot had better prices. Hard to compare a locally owned independent store against a giant like Home Depot but when it comes to customer service, Center Appliance met all my expectations & more. They were more passionate & very knowledgeable about their product. Here's the real kicker folks. I bought the washer/dryer on Monday morning. Center Appliance delivered, set up & hauled away my old washer/dryer 3 hours later. It doesn't get any better than that. May have been just lucky but I don't think so. Buy here people if you want good old fashion service. They are the best! read more

When I first walked in, I was impressed that the salesperson was able to find something to meet my requests and not push other features on me that I wasn't interested in and were able to get me two rebates. They offered free delivery and installation the next business day. They worked very well as a team and I was impressed that they told us if something went wrong, to call them first. read more

My daughter bought a new home so we had heard that Center Appliance had good deals so we stopped in. She ended up buying her new oven and microwave from them. Our salesman Cory was awesome, he recommended an oven and microwave so those are what she chose. She got a great deal and she loves her oven. So when I needed a new stove for our rental home in Manteca, I went back and once again had Cory help me. I was going to go with a glass top but he recommended the coil top due to it being a rental and less chance of damaging the stove top. Being it saved me a couple hundred dollars, I went with his recommendation. Cory is very knowledgeable about appliances and I would highly recommend Center Appliance and ask for Cory. read more

First off let me say I was over the moon and more than happy to go to a local business and buy my double oven. They are super friendly and knowledgeable about their appliances pre-purchase. Fast forward a year and a half and my almost 3000.00 oven dies on me. I thought I should be thankful I had the warranty I purchased with my oven through Center Appliance. Wrong!! The company "Expert Protection" has been a nightmare to deal with and get my Oven fixed. I called in my repair with them over a month ago and still haven't had any follow-up due to a serial tag missing. I went to center appliance to try and get this resolved only for them to tell me basically I have to deal with the warranty company. If you get any appliances here DO NOT buy the warranty they sell you instead go through the manufacturer and buy the extended warranty. This has been a month long battle with sub par repair technicians being sent to my house. So infuriated!! Thanks for nothing Center Appliance! read more
