Center Stage is a great place to go for local and delicious bbq. Comfortable seating, good food, and great people! When looking at the place from the outside it looks unassuming, but you can never judge a book (or bbq) by its cover. The inside is very comfortable and decorated nicely, making you want to stay there and enjoy some food, drinks, and music with your friends. The guys running the shop were also very friendly and patient with us as we decided what to order. One thing that jumped out the most was the beautiful mural that catches the eye the moment you walk in. We had ordered two 1-ways; the chicken and ribs. Both had sides of beans and potato salad which were so good! The potato salad had a balanced taste, with no vinegar or other bold ingredients taking over like most salads can become. The baked beans were just as good tasting with big pieces of meat inside and a healthy dose of spices that makes you want more. The ribs were also very good with a satisfying bite and good sauce. If I wanted to be really picky I would say it was slightly salty, but I don't think of that as a deterrent to getting the ribs; more of a personal preference. The star of the show was the chicken; it was almost like butter in the mouth. The bbq sauce also complemented both meats well and had a good flavor that could stand out on its own. Overall, Center Stage is a great bbq joint that ticks all of the boxes. It has a great atmosphere, really good food, and really nice people. If your looking to help support a local business, and not have to worry about cooking yourself, I'd suggest these guys. I know I'll be back for more! read more

Barbecue tasted like lighter fluid. I mean LOTS of lighter fluid! Like they marinated the meat in lighter fluid. Couldn't eat it. I spent close to &100. When I called to tell the gentleman that the food takes like lighter fluid, he made no offer to correct the problem at all. I feel like I was robbed. Won't be going back. The sides were horrible too. I didn't know weather the Mac and cheese was Mac and cheese or potato salad! The greens were almost good...I think....maybe.....nah!! Never going back. read more

This venue is nice and clean. I attended a party here. Great atmosphere for parties with additional patio space in front of the building. Decor is nice and simple. The Bbq was a little charred however the Mac n cheese was I will have to go back on a regular business day to try more options. Pleased to patronize a Black business. read more

We celebrated my friends dad's 80th birthday and everything was perfect! The food that Center Stage BBQ catered was soooo good! The ribs and mac n cheese were top tier! For some reason my leftover mac n cheese didn't make it home and I was sad for two days! The hospitality of the staff made everything run smooth as they were helpful and courteous. I would love to say many great things about this food, but the overall experience I had here was not great. On a Sunday midday, I came by to check out the bbq here, and the place already smelled strongly like marijuana, with a very still and unfriendly ambiance. The kid serving us was young, and he did not have a great attitude. I ordered a few meat combos, and some extra sides. We watched and heard him reheating our food in the microwave. He let us know the food was not cooked fresh today, and was not sure when the bbq was last cooked. I REALLY enjoyed the sides, but the bbq itself was tough. I would come here again and give it another chance. I bet the bbq is amazing on days where they are cooking it fresh. read more

I'm so glad she did because this restaurant is so good.. expect a FOOD COMA if y'all go here they have all the sides and if ur lucky like we were .. we got complimentary cheesecake pie but we ended up getting three more that we had to buy because it was that good yes you got to stop by this place all these reviews don't tell the whole story ...got to say really good vibes here and positive vibrations and what else would u what.... Excellent food, however, there menu is a little lite on items when ordering on-line. I ordered lunch online for delivery. I ordered potato salad as my side dish only to be informed by the delivery driver that they were out. I got macaroni salad instead. No big deal, they included a free piece of cake. read more
