Brauillo and Dustin were so friendly as I was welcomed with a smile and warm greeting. Brauillo asked whether I needed a cart. I was here so the food frenzy which is a great time to get dog or cat food with anywhere up to 30% off. Who doesn't like a discount. I placed an order 2 days ago and it never arrived, even though it was supposed to come the next day. My dog has a sensitive stomach and is completely out of food. I contacted customer service through their website and never received a response. UPS tracking shows the package is delayed with no clear update. I spoke to Ileana earlier in the week after I had called about a product which turned out to be out of stock when I arrived after calling the store. She recommended I called back a few days later when the product was hopefully back in stock. I spoke to Enerald who confirmed it was in stock and the price. Both Ileana and Emerald were very nice and helpful. We got our items and at an ridiculously amazing price. My girl is stocked for the next month with her Primal Goat's milk and bone broth! Every time we shop at this store everyone is super nice. They don't follow you around or pressure you at all. They know the products and point out the sales and deals. read more

This place is a great alternative to the two big 'Pets stores and has the feeling of a pet loving community who really cares about finding the right things for you and your pet. I've been here three times in rapid succession and each time the staff have been incredibly kind and helpful, recommending products and even in one case, opening something to show me how to use it. The store is clean and organized, with food, toys, medicines, accessories and beds mostly for dogs and cats. I often need crickets and meal worms for my daughter's lizard and I have to go elsewhere. As a result I sometimes pick up dog items at the stores that have the crickets. The store is fine. Decent variety as far as dog food; more limited on cat. They always carry the same exact flavors of frozen cat food, for example. It's been years of the same stuff, even though there are many other flavors available by the manufacturer. There's never that pleasant surprise where you go "Oh wow! How about we try this!?" So now we're branching out and trying other stores. The website is terrible. You'll be ready to place an order and when you press the Checkout button, it'll say they can't deliver to your address, but what it really means is that they're out of one of the items in your cart. The kicker is that it won't tell you which one. You have to play this game where you "test delete" every item from your cart until your order goes through. Your phone number is always jumbled, regardless of how often you correct it. Seems like a rudimentary issue and a pretty easy fix, yet it's been neglected for over a year maybe two, despite calling HQ. They're aware of it, so not sure what's going on. Delivery is subpar. You'll get an email notification saying your order will ship soon, but it doesn't give you a window, and it doesn't notify you as to when it's on the way. I can speak for the cordial employees and the rewards program. That's about it. read more

Grace has always been a big help to me when I am shopping for my pets...she is super knowledgeable and has a lot of experience with many kinds of animals. Recently when I brought my new Australian Shepard pup in for socialization, Grace was very thoughtful of the puppy. He was scared at first but Grace helped him feel right at home, so much to the point that my puppy after just two visits was lying sprawled out in the middle of the floor while people were walking by, he was no longer afraid of the sliding doors, freezer noise or people. Not too long ago when my baby kitten had an eye infection, I called to ask for products such as Terramycin. I spoke to the most helpful person by the name of Grace. She was so kind in calling me back to see what Centennial Pet Store carried to help. I purchased an order to be delivered via ground delivery. After 5 days waiting I sent an email stating I had not received my dogs food and treats. I then received another email stating it had been delivered. I then called the Burbank store to inquire on my order. I was transferred to Pablo who stated he is the assistant manager. He was unprofessional and seemed to be uninterested in assisting me. I then asked to speak to the manager and he stated he was the manager. I asked about this and he answered in a dismissive tone. He told me he would need to investigate the delivery and it would take a few days. I asked to have my order delivered today and once they investigate they would see I never received it. I need the food by today as my dogs are out of it. He then gave me a number for an Alan Coh, who is a district manager. He never answered my call. I then called the Pasadena store and explained my situation. She apologized for Pablo's actions and told me she would get back to me once she speaks with her district manager. She stated that the purchase would be delivered today by 5:30 pm. DO NOT shop at the Burbank store. Pablo is the rudest AM I have ever encountered. read more

But I'm knocking off a few stars because I just spent 3hrs this afternoon obsessing on picking out online a very large order for their online only 1 day flash sale, and checkout wasn't working. Excellent pet store with a knowledgeable and very friendly staff. I came in looking for dog food for my 1 year old Maltese who is having digestive issues. I spoke to Grace and she was extreme helpful with getting my dog on a proper diet to help with his tummy issues. While this is not one of my usual places to shop Centinela is one of the very few places I shop for my dogs food, they have a nice variety of premium dog foods some that your big box chains don't carry. Like other Centinela locations this one is large and well stocked and as with most Centinela's they really push customer service, I mean just stroll through the store and you'll have several employees asking if they can help you, pick up a bag of dog food oh let me take that for you, even carry it out to your car!.... Although I do have a rewards card I must say any Sales or Discounts for products I use has been very limited as of late, nice store I'd come back if in the neighborhood but probably not anytime soon. 3.5-Stars read more

Since it's hard to find Stella & Chewy's in most pet stores, I went on line to see where they sell it. Luckily for us, we were in Burbank and Centinela carries it. The staff are super friendly and helpful as always! I just LOVE this store!!! On top of being so nice, they are knowledgeable about animals and what they carry.
