I recommend going in with an open mind and stepping outside your comfort zone of what you consider pizza. The food is prepared timely, and service is always friendly. Its Middleboro's own version of a townie "cheers". My recommendation is to try their pot roast pizza. It tastes great, and is a good change up from the usual. You won't be disappointed. Prices are fair and reasonable. I would recommend this place as the type of place to go when you want a cold beer, and you just got off of work and want to head out with the team.

The Central has great pizza. However, they also have fabulous "fresh"seafood dishes. My favorite is the haddock and scallop dinner, which I split with my friend. You can have either cooked the way you want but I prefer broiled. This meal is so good that I've had it at least five times over the summer - each time cooked perfectly. The meal also includes a huge amount of crispy French fries. We've had other seafood dishes, such as the fish and chips which comes with a cup of chowder, which have been delicious. Even though the Central is known for their pizza, I highly recommend the seafood. read more

My biggest complaint is the decor, and it's never really clean. It looks like a dive bar from fist glance but give it a chance. The good is great, prices are great, and the service is great. So if you can look past the folding chairs and dirty dark atmosphere, you'll have a really good time. read more

The broccoli bites - hot, cheesy, I liked 'em, wife didn't. The BIG disappointment was the Large antipasta salad. They basically threw some slices of ham, a few slices of salami, and a couple of slices of cheese on a bed of chopped lettuce, sliced cucumbers and a few sliced cherry tomatoes. Oh, and a coupla pita bread quarters for ? (appeasement). Oh, and all this was arranged in one of those round aluminum foil "to go" dishes. For the money, NOT WORTH IT! Next time, IF THERE IS ONE, we'll get pizza by the slice, or maybe a whole pie. Maybe my tastebuds are tainted by having some of the BEST Greek pizza in Tilton, NH & Western Massachusetts, or perhaps the delectable Italian pies at many Jersey Shore pizzarias.....but...for what we paid, I could've had 2 large pies to go and skipped their over-priced beers!
