When the installer team came out, they did not replace the boards and told me new boards were unnecessary. I was still charged for the board replacements anyway. I disputed this directly with the company on March 19th, the day of the installation, and did not receive a follow-up. I had to reach back out on March 31st to continue addressing the issue. At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.

They all carry more modern rugs, but that isn't our interest so I can't comment on that. However, before trying anywhere else, give Caspian Rugs a visit. The quality, service, selection and pricing can't be beat.

I was assisted by two men, who insisted that central Asian rugs were the most popular (perhaps so, if one isn't willing to spend $$$ on a Persian rug). However, I asked only to see their finest rugs (Persian Isfahan, Tabriz, or Qum origins), as all the rugs in my home are traditional/fine Persian rugs. After getting the run-around for 25min, the men finally conceded that they have mostly central Asian and Eastern rugs, which I did not wish for. If you're interested in Far Eastern rugs, this store has plenty. There were only two Persian rugs that they had to show: a 12' x 10' and a 14' runner, both too small and humdrum. Went to Isberian immediately after, and found a trove of fine and traditional Persian rugs for my home. While I didn't find what I was looking for at Caspian, they do have a vast variety of rugs at reasonable prices.

We wanted the rug dried out - we couldn't just hang it over a railing bc it was soaking and we had rain in the forecast for the next several - and while many other companies needed us to bring the rug to their site, Minasian said they could pick up our rug that afternoon, clean it at their facility and return it to our house at a date we would schedule. They quoted us a competitive price, their team showed up that same day (on time), their team guys were friendly and professional, and they removed our wet (now useless) rug pad, in addition to taking our rug for cleaning. A few days later, the company called us to schedule home delivery of our cleaned rug. They gave us a tight (30-minute) window - not one of these cases where a company gives you a 4-hour window! - their team arrived on time, and again, the guys were super helpful and friendly. Although we didn't buy a rug pad from Minasian - we got one from elsewhere online - their team cut our rug pad (at my request) to fit our rug's size. All around, fantastic service! We had laminate flooring installed in our home a few years ago, and we are now having issues with it warping and bubbling in certain areas. Kelly was assigned to help us , and it was a major letdown, everything was passed off as "water damage" even if the area in question was nowhere near a water source. Her explanation was that once there's water damage in one area that can impact the entire floor. No workable solutions were provided or attempts to actually help us. The "water damage" was also determined from a number of pictures that I, the customer, took. No one from Sherlock's or the manufacturer actually came out to look at anything. The flooring is supposedly covered under warranty for 20 years for most issues. It was a long drawn out process that resulted in nothing. Very poor business practices. I was told I could buy a new floor if I would like, like I would invest any more money after this treatment. I truly had hoped for more.
