Service was okay. Our server was maybe having an off day but they got a couple of things wrong like no cheese on the salads and our dessert order. The asparagus we got as a side to the steak was incredibly small and sad looking. I had a nice dinner with a friend here on a Monday evening. There's a private parking lot, and there was plenty of spaces, but I can imagine that it would get busy and you may need to scour for a spot. The building stands out and the architecture has a nice between modern-esque farmhouse feel. Luckily, I was able to be seated immediately. Service was good. We had our orders taken quickly. -100/10!! We were trying to take our buddy out for a nice dinner before he left town (he's 23). They gave him a carona no problem. He wanted a nice bourbon and we he ordered it the manager came by wanting a second form of id. They don't have a scanner in the restaurant and she made him download a whole app to verify a 3rd form of id. He went to his truck grabbed his registration paper. He now has his id, insurance, registration paper, and the app verified him. Then he was able to get his drink 15 minutes later. And to top it off there was hair in his food! ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT. If you want a drink be prepared to show 4 different forms of id! Absolutely heartbreaking since we were regulars there. read more

Just picked up two salads for lunch. The pecan crusted salad was pretty good. The goat cheese tried to balance out the candied nuts, however the dressing was so thick and sweet, combined with the sweetness of the nuts made the goat cheese's battle to balance impossible. The highlight of the salad was the savory crunchy bread that came with it. The bread was infused with herbs that gave a delightful surprise to every bite. The steak salad salad was much better than the pecan crusted goat cheese salad. It was funny because when I lifted the salads out of the bag, there was a significant weight difference. Now the pecan goat cheese salad didn't have protein but I would have thought it would have had more lettuce to it than it did. The steak salad came with a two skewers of steak pieces that was cooked to an appropriate temperature, leaving the steak tender and juicy. There was a hard cooked egg, onion straws and blue cheese. The dressing was quiet good and melded well with the other ingredients. The bill came to $32 prior to the tip, which was a little high for what was served. The service was excellent even though we ordered to go. It only took them 15 minutes to get the salads ready. I really liked how they sent me a text when ready. When I got there, I was promptly given our order. The person who took the order, the person at the hostess station and the person who brought the food were all very nice. read more

We went on a Friday night. The spring rolls and wings for appetizers were good. I got the steak skewers & sweet potato tots. She asked me how I wanted them cooked and they came out well done, like jerky. They brought me new ones that were still cooked through, and tasted weird, like smoked meat. The sweet potato tots just tasted undercooked and mushy but I know it's hard with sweet potatoes. Someone got the ribeye and it was the thinnest slice of meat I've ever seen. Absolutely do not recommend. Someone got the salmon entrée and someone else got a chicken entrée and they both said they were good/OK. The most annoying part however was that we never had our salads delivered. They brought our entrées and we had to tell them we never even received our salads. Long wait for our meal. I would recommend this place for drinks and appetizers, and would avoid any steak entrées. read more

Food was decent. Service was poor and the automatic 20% gratuity was the icing on the cake. No wonder our service was poor. This was for a family of 6. Sat down, drink order taken, bring drinks, take order, bring salads, no silverware. Sat there looking at our salads for at least 5 minutes, pretty sure it was close to 10. Waitress walked past table once while seating another table but didn't look. Finally a manager noticed and brought silverware. Food came out, but not by our waitress. I finally had to get her attention to get a refill. That's the only time she came to our table until she brought ticket. A ticket with 20% gratuity added before tax. Then, when she brought my change back, she only brought the bills, not the change so she got that too. I usually tip decent, but don't force me to! read more

Took a short ride on my Harley to Starkville today and was searching for somewhere to grab lunch before heading home stopped by the Central Station after seeing it on Yelp. Nice looking place and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the Mahi Salad and it came out looked great. The greens were fresh. My issues was two things. First the fish was bland and over cooked no seasoning and dry as a bone. Secondly there was no dressing on the salad or on the side. My waitress took care of it and like I said staff was great. First off let me say our waitress Katelynn (not sure how to spell her name) was absolutely amazing. It was super packed, and she was also the bartender, but she remained very friendly and patient! It was tough deciding what to get, but all the options looked great. My mom got the sliders and she thought they were very good. I got the nachos and they were absolutely delicious! While at a conference, I checked this restaurant out twice. This time for dinner. After being seated solo, I ordered a glass of wine and the crab cake special. The wine arrived quickly. The dinner was good. I enjoyed the Brussel sprouts and Gouda grits but struggled with the crab cakes. I think there was more crawfish than crab, and I never saw that in the food description. Horrible. Ive lived in Starkville for over 2 years and haven't had a chance to try the grill. On a whim we ordered some from door dash; just a salad and chicken sliders. The poor door dash had to wait at the restaurant for over 45 minutes on a Tuesday. So it was over an hour when we got our food. And it was probably the worst salad I've ever had. The chicken was not seasoned or cooked well, and just all around a bad salad. And dillans food was cold. We will never be ordering here again read more

The food was good and presentable. The pasta is slight misleading. It had a lot of different things they say that in it but it was hard to place where it was from the sauce and pasta. I'd prefer they use bow tie noodles and smoke sausage. It was a little on the salty side. But it was ok. Bacon could be cooked more thorough. It was on the chewy side of being done. Philly was great!
