But, in 2026, their bill collection group has been incompetent and seems to be deliberately misleading. We have always paid our bills in full after the insurance adjustment and had not problem. We have good private insurance. In March 2026, I got a bill for services over 2 years ago, saying I still owed $2,009. I called and they said, oops, right, I'd already paid $1,016 and owed the balance. But, when I got my Insurance involved, they showed that Resurgeons had added to the bill $1,112 in costs never filed with insurance (so not adjusted, not in EOB). So, they sent me a bill showing and saying Insurance had provided, but adding over one thousand in costs for "supplies". Questionable practices. Also in March, I got a bill for services from early 2025. My EOB showed I owed zero dollars. They said I owed $2330. I called and they said they needed a new EOB and it had to come from the Insurer. Another hour of phone calls and I got that to them. I have a confirmation from my insurer. Just got a threatening past due bill again for same amount. I saw Dr. Bircoll both times. There's a test they do to make the diagnosis that is very, very painful, but once he did it the first appointment, he told me what the problem was, recommended a specific type of brace and advised me to return in a month for an injection. A month later, it wasn't any better and I had reinjured it a week before, so I went back to try the injection. In that appointment, he poked and prodded, observed my pain and then told me to relax my arm and that he "wasn't going to hurt me" before forcefully and swiftly bending my wrist again. It was excruciatingly painful and completely unnecessary (plus the lie) given he had already diagnosed the issue the previous appointment and had just observed that it was still quite painful. No "bedside manner" at all. It just felt sadistic. I tried twice with two different people to contact management to address it, but was completely ghosted. I don't know if this is the standard of care with Resurgens, but I will be looking elsewhere if I need additional services.

I was a little scared of dry needling at first, but it's virtually painless! I felt relief the very next day, if not later that day after our first session. Huge difference! It was incredible. I scheduled another session a few weeks later and she added electrical impulses, which worked well for my problem area. Dr. Charlotte also gave me exercises and stretches to do and said I can see her for dry needling as needed and I haven't had a need to. It's been over a month since my last session and the pain and discomfort is very minimal. The facility is nice and clean. The treatment area is open and bright. There's a private room for dry needling. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back again, as my problem is something that probably won't go away completely for a while.
