One star only because you have to choose something, they don't even deserve that. Avoid this place! I'm not even sure how many different ways they screwed up or what blunders these idiots must have made along the way to be able to take 6 weeks to put in a rear windshield on a 2018 Tundra. One of the most accessible and popular trucks in America and they just keep telling me it's back ordered. I guess that's shop talk for 'we are morons and didn't actually order you windshield yet, we screwed up and can't figure out how to order a part so instead of taking any responsibility we're just going to lie and string you along for 6 weeks'. There is a Toyota dealership across the street from these guys by the way. I wish it stopped there but it just gets worse... they text me on week 6 to let me know that the battery is now dead and they are not going to pay for it. Which is apparently shop talk for 'We wanted to double down on our carelessness, so we left your battery to completely drain while your truck sat in our shop for 6 weeks'. The battery was fine when they got it but to make me feel even worse about getting railed by them, they hand me an invoice for the battery showing that they paid $145 from the dealership across the street but are charging me $196. The best part was while this guy Chris was handing me this, he tells his cashier not to send me the survey because I would probably just leave a bad review! I mean WOW! Who does crap like this? The final coup de gras at the end was when they tell you they are also charging you 3% to use your credit card. Do not ever, ever give these people your car. They get their jobs from insurance companies and don't give one single f about you or your car. read more

I came in for an estimate of damages to my Lexus RX 350 bumper and the man named Chris gave some disgusting comments about my vehicle's condition and he just straight up said $5000 plus off the bat without even inputting it onto a computer and giving me an actual physical copy for a reference... My son's car needed a catalytic converter replacement due to the resent theft in our neighborhood. We called USSA, and they hooked us up with these guys, within the same day a tow truck picked up his car and immediately dropped it off. The very next day, his car ready to be worked on .. with an acceptation that they had to find his eyes to the car. Quality is beyond and above the service, Chris even reccomended a person to get the shield protector and installations. Value is much reasonable .. Love their service and quality to the "T". First, my insurance company recommended Cerritos Collision after I was rear ended and the experience was amazing especially with their respect for my time. They made the entire process easy and seamless. Then recently, I had issues with my windshield wiper and with everyone my husband spoke with who was quoted approximately $600, at other body shops and dealerships, I decided to independently purchase parts and just called Cesar Rodriguez at Cerritos Collision. He said, "let me take a look" and when we arrived, he said it would take two minutes and he would not charge for his time. I was shocked and amazed at his expertise but more so with his generosity and kindness. He recognized my vehicle from the previous body repair and said, I appreciate your thinking of calling us to make another repair. They replaced the grille And the plastic screws that were attached to it since they were the wrong ones. July 2021 Recently I had the opportunity to get my Car repaired on 2 different occasions. January 2021 and June 2021. The first time I came to this shop I had a difficult time locating it since it's behind the Cerritos Nissan Dealership tucked away in a corner. The first time I was assisted by a guy who came out and took photos of the damage on my vehicle and took down any vital information for my insurance company. The Bumper needed to be replaced so it took only a few days. The service was quick and friendly. The second time I was assisted by a girl who took down any vital information for my insurance company. Since there was more damage it took approximately 3weeks before I got my car back. During the wait, the team was consistent in updating me on the status of my car and sending me images to show what needed to be done still. Got my Toyota Highlander SUV repaired due to an accident to the bumper and hood area. The repair was replacing two parts on the bumper. Overall, I think communications could be improved. I never got a status on my vehicle, and I had to call myself for the pickup of my vehicle. Luckily, David the Director helped with an issue concerning a missed section of repair of my car which was easily buffed out and touched up on the bottom with some touchup paint. TLDR; Read the forms they ask you to sign because they want you to assume liability for their employees driving your vehicle. My insurance company, Mercury Insurance, sent my mom's vehicle to Cerritos Collision to obtain an estimate for the damages resulting from her vehicle being stolen. In order to obtain an estimate, Cerritos Collision required us to sign a form that states, "I understand my car will be driven by your employees to make required tests at my risk." That line is a huge red flag to me. Why should my mom assume liability for Cerritos Collision's employees? I've never met their employees, I know absolutely nothing about their employees, I know nothing about the shops hiring practices, what employees they allow to drive vehicles, etc. Do they not trust their employees enough to accept liability for them driving your vehicle? I raised my concerns about the legal language that passes on the liability of their employee's driving a customers vehicle and I bet you already know what they said, take your vehicle somewhere else. We will and I recommend you do the same. read more

This review is specifically for Chris, white presenting male whose role is customer facing. On Wednesday, March 27th, I was involved in an auto accident. I bought both my cars through Nissan Cerritos and take my cars for service, so naturally, I thought I would take my car to the same location. When I brought my car, I asked Chris if it would be possible to do 2 additional items. Put my plates on for me, and if they would be able to remove the center shifter area as an FOB, had slipped in a poorly designed crack under the video display. We sat in the car as I explained what happened where it was located, and even that center section would need to be removed. He said no problem he would have his guys do it. Today, April 2nd, I called at 12:51 to see if I could pick up my car and if they were able to locate the FOB. He said he forgot about the FOB and it would be a few hours and to come pick it up at 4pm. I arrived at 4:30 and he admitted he forgot about it yet again but would have someone look at it. I reminded him that the middle area needed to be removed, and he began to get defensive and raise his voice. Stating it would take hours for that work. I stated i did call hours ago, and he that began accusing me of expecting free service. I explained I only expected what he said he was going to do twice. Chris did not listen the first time I explained what was needed, continuously forgot about promises made and than gets angry and argues with customers once his short comings are brought to light. I have used their services twice in the last two years. 2012 - Early August a drunk driver rear ended my 2011 Altima. I dropped off the car on August 6 and it was ready for pick up on August 21st first thing in the morning. They did an amzing job. Can't even tell the difference between a new on the lot vehicle and my car. They texted me, emailed me and call me at every step of the way. If something was delayed, they would communicate with the insurance company and notify me about it. Excellent service Jesse. 2011 - Around April of 2011, I rear ended another car that made a sudden stop on the street with my then 2008 Altima. My car was ready within two weeks. However, there was some misscomunication between the insurance company, the body shop, and me. The insurance wanted to charge me for the additional 2 days of rental when it was the body shop's mistake for not writing down the right date I was notified of the car being ready. Overall, I would definately use them again. I didn't give them a 5 star review because of my first experience with them back in 2011. I brought my car to Cerritos collision after my accident for a second opinion and spoke to James, I mentioned to him that my insurance company had considered my car a total loss. I voiced my concerns and asked him to please do a diagnostic of my car to see if it fixable. I mentioned to him that at impact I felt my car engine shifted and that my husband noticed that the top motor mount was broken. I also told him that my check engine light had turned on and that my car was not drivable. They themselves towed my car to there location for review. I received a call from him telling me that they did a complete diagnostic and fix the suspension, motor mounts and cleared the check engine light. Car is in good drivable condition after repairs. I said great news, well I was wrong. I picked up my car 3 weeks later. It looks. Beautiful the paint job was nice..... but !!!! Not even a mile away from the shop my car stops completely!!! Wtf! So, They come tow my car to the shop, said we are so sorry we will check it out. They did. James calls me the next day to tell me "oh, Im sorry but your car transmission is bad and we don't fix that. It's not covered under insurance. So come and pick up your car. I ask how if Its not drivable? James,"oh you can just tow it home you have AAA right"... once again WTF!!!! I told him didn't you do an diagnostic? If so wouldn't the transmission code come during the diagnostic. I remember telling him "so you want me to go pick up my newly paint car that doesn't work and tow it home" All because you failed to do the proper diagnostics. That if they had done it from the beginning it would've popped up during the diagnostic. I didn't have no issues with my car other that normal wear and tear. I was so pissed at this point. How is it that I take it to get inspected before the repairs were made and mention all my concerns. I'm glad Im insured with farmers. I called my insurance rep voiced my concerns. They were also confused why the repairs were made if I had a faulty transmission!!!.They approved my semi new transmission. Great news right.. no ! The next morning im driving it hot Af. Ummm why is my ac not working. At this point I don't want to take it back so I take it to my mechanic to service my AC. So here he is servicing my AC to find out it had a leak....wtf again ! so, when they installed the transmission, and replaced the radiator they had to detach my car AC unit. So of course I call James. I tell him and he says of yeah we forgot to charge your AC. Bring it back on Monday and here I am... failed the leak test.. of course! who knows when I'll get my car now... The moral of this story is DON'T BRING YOUR CAR HERE !! They were only concerned in making money by fixing the exterior of the car than the mechanics of it. read more

If you need your car repaired here, turn around. I was rear ended over a month ago. This place was on the list that my insurance provided. I chose it for its location. I had to call constantly for updates as I did with my insurance too. When all was said and done the damages outweighed the value of the car and the insurance company totaled my car. Mind you the damages did not appear to be really bad from the outside. My car is a 2012 focus. We had the option to by the car back as salvaged from our insurance company and would have to pay around $3000 out of pocket for the rest of the repairs. It sucked but we were in. We didn't want to pay for a new car. Cerritos then informs us that the only work for insurance companies and would not do the repairs for us. We would have to tow it elsewhere for repairs. I feel this is information that should have been disclosed at the beginning. And they would not let another mechanic come in and look at the damages to access. I needed repair for my car after being hit in a parking lot by an unknown person. My insurance company, USAA gave me names of repair shops. I chose the Cerritos Collision Center, closest to my home. I took the car in on a Monday. One week later it was ready for pick up. I was informed every day by my service manager, Viridiana about the progress of the repair. They got a car service to get me to and from the repair shop. The car looks like new. This company proved my point why I don't trust 3rd party mechanics. The lies I was told but the truth was revealed shortly after my horrible experience. So I had repairs done few months ago, and I had a issue with my repair. So I knew it still had a warranty. So I call them and receptionist told me bring it in. I speak work with James manager and first he walks me to the car. He immediately launches blame as if I made it up and did the damage myself! I was highly offended by the accusation I outright damaged my own car. I believe he could tell so he had one of his guys slap a bandaid on it and send me on my way. No cost... I drive home and soon as I get home the issue has returned. Speed forward I bring it to the dealership over the weekend. They always treated me good over there. They did some jail rig trick to repair it and it doesn't even fix my vehicle!!??? Who does that? So now it made sense, a car since I had for years never experienced this issue. I came back because the prior work they did on my front grill and hood was not properly aligned but when i came back it seemed to be under new management and the place seemed a lot more professional. At first I was dreading coming back hear but since they warrantied the work I had no choice. I am glad I did come back because everything has been 100000 times better than my first experience. They really try hard to take care of me and my car. The new manager Anthony has a plethora of knowledge about cars and has great advice on what you should do. He also looks out for your best interests rather than only looking at profits. Giving me the best advice that saves me the most money. By far the best experience I could've imagined. The team at Cerritos Collision center was phenomenal and completely surpassed my expectations in terms of timing, quality of work and customer service. They were recommended to me through my insurance and I can see why. They kept me up to date through text on the status of my vehicle each day and as soon as it was ready they called me to let me know. They had my car back on the road in a matter of days; took them about half a week to refurbish my rear bumper, replace my quarter panel, and repaint both. They also replaced my tai-light. Very good quality of work. I needed a repaint on large body panels and bumper and it came out looking OEM. I was very impressed. They even had my car washed and detailed for when I picked it up! I brought my car twice for repairs thinking I would get Nissan Quality service. Truth is, the body shop is not part of Nissan so they carry-on at their own level of quality. It doesn't matter if you have purchased 3 Nissans from the dealership, they can care less. It took 5 days to get my car repaired when I was told 2. Then when I picked it up, it was dirty & only waxed at the repaired spot. Granted, the insurance doesn't pay for wash n wax. But come on, we're talking about customer service. Today is Feb. 14 and there has been absolutely no response to my email. I even checked my spam and other email folders. I even included my Mercury Insurance claim number, thinking there would be a response. Having an email contact link on the business page is really misleading. Clearly this business does not want to bother with email, so just take the dang link off the Web page, so perspective customers will not be mislead.
