I visited the Palo Alto and San Pedro Square location before and enjoyed the matcha gelato a lot. I was happy to see that they opened one up near me! Walked here on a Sunday at around 8:30 when they were almost closing. I got the matcha gelato which is my favorite and the matcha and hokkaido swirl in a cone. Both very tasty- I like the gelato consistency and strength of the matcha a lot. This location has a really nice interior that definitely is ideal for studying or catching up with friends. The 1st time I tried this in Sj, I was hooked. So when I saw that they had one in Campbell I got excited. It was perfect, close by to this event I was working at. One of the best new matcha chains in the bay area. I got a Strawberry Matcha Latte. The matcha is strong and still shines despite the strawberry puree, and the puree tastes fresh. Whatever whole milk they use doesn't irritate my stomach either so that's a plus. (I'm lactose intolerant ) Love how spacious this Maruwu Seicha is. Compared to the other locations, this one is huge and is amazingly ventilated. Every time I come there is a consistent breeze. The Palo Alto and DTSJ locations feel incredibly cramped. The workers are nice and efficient. Campbell isn't exactly known for their matcha or asian food scene so there a lot of people trying this place for the first time. I love Maruwu. I think their matcha is better than other matcha places. When they opened other locations they were always crazy busy and lines and lines of people but not this place. This is not a hype place anymore?! I'm not sure but its kind of nice get great matcha drinks in few minutes for me. Might not be too great for the business?! Idk. Location is great and free public parking everywhere so I feel like they should have a little more people... hopefully soon. Maybe a lot of people still don't they are here. Glad this place has opened!! We were there while visiting the Annual Campbell Car show and was surprised to see that there wasn't a line. I got the Hawaii Ube Matcha Latte and it was good! Thicker than what I was expected but not bad. I would love to come here and work but I do not think they have WiFi available to the public. So excited we finally have a matcha place in downtown Campbell! The strawberry matcha is so good here, the strawberries taste muddled rather than syrupy. It's the perfect drink on a hot day and never takes long from ordering to pick up despite the line. Totally love the effort put into the interior, the decor doesn't go unnoticed, especially the layout of the tables - which is perfect to work in. Love Maruwu seicha, definitely one of the higher quality matchas/hojichas in the bay. Excited to see a location pop up closer to home in downtown Campbell. Easy to find parking nearby, and the store itself is spacious with a lot of seating compared to other Maruwu locations. The bathroom also is fancy and clean, with some sinks accessible outside of the bathroom to clean hands at. The workers were very nice, with the cashier even offering a free taste of the Hokkaido milk gelato to our kiddos even without us asking, and drinks came out quick and yummy as usual. Only issue I experienced was one of the long benches inside that we sat on kept going up and down like a seesaw whenever the person sitting next to us got up or down. it was my first time trying after seeing all the hype online. the guy cashier was rlly nice and attentive to my friend and i ! 10/10 customer service ! he was rlly understanding and helping to lead the other staff in a nice manner. we went in the morning and it was a really nice experience as there was no one in line, there was plenty of seating, very nice old wooden aesthetics. there was a few ppl doing work there and the environment is very productive ! i got the strawberry matcha w/ oat milk and a hokkaido cheese tart. the drink was alright . maybe it's the oat milk that washes out the flavors but even the matcha flavor was rlly bitter and not mixing well with the strawberry puree. there was also rlly little purée for the drink, which surprised me. 7/10 for the drink. the cheese tart was also alright, just tasted like a cheesecake with more airy flavor. 7/10 hojicha latte was rlly . bland . tasted more like milk than anything. there was the tea taste, but benefit of the doubt again, maybe it's the oat milk drowning out the flavor. 6/10 for me, 7/10 for my friend. was a good first try, maybe i'll try the original location to give it another chance. read more

We ordered the matcha and Hokkaido milk swirl soft serve, and since we didn't want the baby to have any caffeine, we asked if they could give us just a tiny bit of the Hokkaido milk separately. Really good drinks. I've only tried a few of them but they're all really tasty so far. They have tarts that look delicious and ice creams I got to sample. Great flavors. The storefront is nice too. Very clean, a cute style, some of the bench seats have a power strip under them which is a great touch. The one thing that's lowered this is the service. The staff is super nice, but I believe they're still learning the ropes of things. I ordered Oat milk in my drink--- an extra dollar (curse my lactose intolerant body) ---but I'm pretty sure they forgot it. I will say, the drink was so tasty I didn't even notice it didn't taste like Oat milk until I got a stomach ache. I'm really excited to continue coming though.
