I went with this business simply because it was close to home. One of my jackets needed a button sewed on and a wrist strap thingy sewed on as well. I mean, I could've sewed it myself but ain't nobody got time for that! Total came to $6. The turn around was 3 days. Customer service is average, but the business looks new and clean. Upon first impression, communication appeared to be a little challenging, however, my request was literally hemming up 2-3 inches on 4 pairs of jeans for work. Not rocket science and doesn't necessarily require a lot of dialog, either. Nonetheless, super-friendly. No complaints. Price is pretty reasonable here compared to several other places I've gone to in the past. Typically, in the last decade or so, the cost of alterations for me have surpassed the cost of the pants they are doing the work on which I find insane but what can you do? This place charged me $14 a pair. It took them exactly a week to complete the job which is a little long. Generally, should take 4-5 days. I would plan ahead, just in case. The quality of work appears to be solid with the stitch intact. I recommend. Keep in mind the potential language barrier/communication issues in requesting your needs as well the timeframe for work completed. 4 stars. Cheers!

I have used Almir services in the past, but I had failed to review. Today I must boast about the fantastic job they did on my Lucky jeans. Everyone has a favorite pair of jeans and I have had mine stashed away for a bit as I knew they needed some repair. I refused to part with them so as I was cleaning my closet out I showed my daughter my old jeans. She immediately spoke up and said take them to Almir. He will repair and make them like new again. I took her advice and today and picked up my beautiful pair of jeans with new belt loops and interior patches added. They look so good and I can hardly wait to wear them. The workmanship is fantastic. I am so grateful for the care they took with my jeans. Almir and his crew provide alterations, embroidery, mending and repair, custom tailoring, and they are able to create reproductions. They also offer a beautiful collection of wedding gowns.
