My daughter was wanting Ramen and has had it here before. We went last night at 7:35 put our name in the list for a table for 3, was told 20-30 minutes. Waited 30 minutes then went in to say we could take a table for 2 as the third person had to leave. Was told it would be just a minute as someone had just received their check. Very disappointed with the seafood ramen I ate today. The smell alone was not good. The seafood included two chewy pieces of squid, several tiny baby shrimp, too many tiny mussels and one regular shrimp! My daughter's vegetable ramen was a bit better but with only a few vegetables. read more

I have lived in japan for a while and I have to give it to cha-cha they are spot on with the flavor, but everything else is wrong. The Japanese are known for their excellent service, but cha cha does not share the same quality. I ordered the katsu don and gyu don and for the price I feel like I got robbed. The pork cutlet was very small and thin. The gyu don was very small and had very little meat. I would stick to the soup dishes if you want to get your moneys worth. The service here is really bad, they rushed us out when I wanted to buy more food. I got 1 rice bowl of Korean BBQ, it wasn't filling so I wanted ramen and she told me it would take 40 minutes to make....it's a ramen house tho. Ok, the food is actually good. But, all of the other elements are pretty crazy. They have a total of five tables in the entire place, they do not do take-out. So, if you go there and the tables are full you just have to leave. It is a bit awkward. I had to wait an hour and a half for my bowl and I was there when it opened at 11:30. I love Cha-Cha's. This is a hidden gem in the middle of Palm Beach County. You may be in for a wait, but it's completely worth it. The Ramen is amazing. The gyudon is outstanding (my only complaint is there's too little of it!). And the new Katsu Curry is fantastic. The wait staff is very personable. We love them! My only complaint is that you cannot get take out. Would love to be able to swing by on the way home and bring home Ramen for dinner if we're planning a night in. This restaurant has been on my radar for a while. The reviews for their ramen definitely made me want to try it. Last week, we had a glimpse of winter and nothing sounded better than some nice hot ramen. This restaurant is very small, only 5 tables, I think, and obviously some other groups had the same plan as us. We were able to get a table right away but the food took FOREVER! We ordered appetizers because we were so hungry. We did not see any food at all for a good 20-30 minutes. Mind you, we ordered a sushi roll, shrimp tempura and sauteed pork belly for appetizers. We should have received at least one of those within 10 minutes, at most, but the kitchen does not seem to understand how to properly send out food to tables. I think the kitchen was making each order, ticket by ticket, with no regard to whether anyone ordered appetizers. By the time we got our appetizers, we also got our entrees a couple minutes later. It was very poorly planned out. The shrimp tempura was so oily and not crispy at all. I have never had tempura like that before. We almost sent it back but we were so hungry we just said screw it. The sushi was not very good. It was lacking flavor. We only tried one roll so I can't really comment on their overall selection. The pork belly was just OK. I wouldn't order it again. Now to the entrees, I got the pork ramen and my husband got the curry pork udon. He loved my dish and I really liked his. The udon noodles had great texture, but the pork they used in the dish was not good. It was like scraps. But the udon alone made the dish delicious. My husband also did not like the curry flavor. He said it was not cooked down and tasted like it was straight from a grocery store seasoning. My pork ramen was very good. The broth was flavorful and the pork was super moist. You only get 3 pieces of sliced pork but it was still delicious. I would go back but only order the ramen and udon dish (other than the curry option). Was not disappointed. New owners recently and I was really glad to find that the original taste is still there. Service is better now that they actually hired 1 more server. Place is just as small but packed. I have not found a place like cha cha so far. It is the most authentic Jap ramen I have had since Tokyo. Ramen Lab and other places can't compare to Cha Cha. Ugh! I ordered one of the tonkotsu ramen bowls but it tasted like fishy peanut butter broth rather than pork broth. I really couldn't even eat it. This is the only ramen place in the area and is alright. Competition breeds higher quality ingredients and final product! The noodles have a good texture to them and doesn't taste like the instant packages people buy anywhere. Noodles do taste like they make them but lack the crispness/chewiness that I miss. The broth has moderate flavor but not robust as I would expect. The pork slices are not pork belly as in most places. The egg is on the little over cooked side. We love the takoyaki, udon, ramen, gyudon, and katsu curry. We are huge sushi eaters and we don't ever order sushi here. Most of the negative reviews here are about the sushi. In my experience, unless you have a dedicated sushi chef and enough output to keep everything fresh, it just usually isn't worth it. Come here for the authentic dishes. I was so pleased to find that there was a ramen place in this part of town that can be so sparse of authentic Asian food. This place is great and I am so glad that this place exists to serve the population that seeks to venture outside of the cookie cutter chain restaurants that dominate this suburban area. However, this place can be pretty hit or miss which is why it has earned this rating from me. The food has been consistently delicious, but the ingredients are not always the best. You also need to eat your ramen as soon as it hits the table. You run the risk if the broth going cold otherwise. The dining room is small and when they are busy, it will not be the best dining experience. If it is not too busy, you may get the best bowl of ramen west of 441. The service has consistently been great, but don't stay for too long - there are others waiting to be seated! read more

I have been to Cha-Cha on a number of occasions and eating a wide variety of their excellent selection. I have always found the Sushi, melt in your mouth Fresh; the Ramen selections authentic and at the heart a very respectable broth. Noodle dishes are very soothing from Udon to Soba. The Sake selection is more than adequate including my favorite Nigori, which is properly served cold. I may be qualified to speak having experienced Ramen in Sapporo ( Including Ramen Alley, and far beyond), and many outrageous Tokyo and New York offerings both well known (Ippudo, Totto Ramen, Bassanova, Misoya), as well an some underground a pop up joints. This is my favorite Oasis in South Florida. The TV tuned to NHK Japanese version is also a nice touch that compliment the excellent service and the Japanese hospitality, Cleanliness and attention to detail not often found in a restaurant in the US. read more

Cha-Cha's is a hidden gem of a restaurant! The food was excellent, fairly priced and the staff (waiter) friendly, informative and attentive. I had the beef rice bowl and the Ramen noodle soup with roast pork! Both were great, however they could have included a bit more beef in the beef rice bowl. This restaurant is on the west side of 441 in a small shopping plaza just north of Rooms To Go. I have read that its hard to find. It is and I'll tell you why. Cha Cha's only has a small banner on the 441 frontage side of the restaurant. This is costing them a TON of lost income because everyone including us drove right past it two times because you cant see the worthless banner! Cha Cha's needs to have a much larger professional sign on the 441 side of the building that says Cha Cha's Asian Cuisine so people can see where to turn into the shopping plaza to find them! Hear This Cha Cha's?????? If you spend the money on proper and needed signage people will come! a lot more people! And guess what both you and your staff will make more money! Then maybe you can expand your seating if its possible. I feel that this review is both honest and important for Cha Cha's owners to read and take marketing action to acquire better 441 sign advertising for everyone's benefit! read more
