Of course, the number 1 Sri Lanka Ceylon latte was one of the best drinks on the menu and I have been getting it quite often. (at least once a week) There's another location closer to me which is at Rowland Heights. I have tried a lot of stores and even stores overseas as well. I have tried Unique tea, L2, AU79, Tancha, Sunright, 3Catea, and etc. The sri lanka drink is almost as comparable to one of the well known drinks in China. Cha Redefine is my current top favorite boba spot! I usually love going for unique drinks and my go-to order is either the Coco Mango or Blueberry Matcha. Their Coco Mango has fresh mango, coconut milk, and avocado smoothie which is such an amazing combo. If you like viet avocado smoothie or if you're feeling adventurous, I highly recommend trying this one! I prefer my drinks less sweet, so I usually get it at 50% sweet and it's the perfect sweetness for me. There is some dairy in the avocado smoothie which they premade, so just a heads up if you're lactose intolerant like me. I've also tried their Coco Avocado which is a similar version, but with strawberries instead of mango, and I didn't like this combo as much compared to the Coco Mango. They also released a new seasonal limited drink series called Handmade Rice Mochi, so I tried the Mochi Mango and I personally prefer the Coco Mango or Mango Mango drinks more because I wasn't as huge of a fan of the mochi here. I've tried drinkable mochi at other boba shops before and I felt like this mochi was a bit more plain and had a stronger flour taste to it. Another favorite of mine is the Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte and I like to get it with boba as a topping. This one is completely dairy free which I love. I usually get it at 25% sweet and it's perfect. Blueberry and matcha is such a good combo and I highly recommend this drink if you're a matcha lover! Parking is plentiful since it's in the outdoor area of Santa Anita Mall near Daiso. The ambiance inside gives a more modern/upscale feel and compared to their other locations in Pasadena and Rowland Heights, I think this location is the most spacious with a slightly wider layout. Service is usually pretty quick and overall I've always had a good experience here and would recommend it! read more

This place is super unorganized. Everyone is crowding around the pick up area waiting for their drinks because the workers don't call out any numbers. We waited over 30 mins for our drinks. One of them was super watered down and the other had no ice, almost as if it was sitting on the counter melting. Loooove their avocado mango smoothie. I never pegged myself as an avocado smoothie fan. But this drink converted me! The avocado taste is very subtle. It added more in the sense of a smoother texture for the drink. The mango flavor was more prominent. Also tried the Sri Lanka and matcha soft serve croissant. Croissant was a little dry. This is such a cute spot newly opened in the Santa Anita mall! I love the interior design, but the star of the show is the drink. I had a matcha taro paste slush and wow it was excellent! Price point is also super reasonable compared to some of the other boba spots in this mall. The cashier informed me that all their ingredients are of the highest quality, and that they do not use any powders for their drinks. You can watch them whisk the matcha themselves! Honestly I usually chug my drink before I even get the chance to remember to take a pic, but this place is definitely a must try! The Sri Lanka Ceylon Latte is a must try, I've come back 3 times just to get this, it's a delicious Sri Lankan milk tea that gives a modest amount of caffeine without feeling over loaded! The Cha Cha lychee is also a very refreshing and good drink that I would say you should try, not overly sweet and tastes amazing. One drink I miss that was available during opening week only was their mango series, the Matcha Mango mountain was crazy good! Service takes a while because they get slammed, and the drinks are made fresh so it's understandable, but I would say it's worth the wait! It is a very busy place in the outside part of the mall but the servers are very friendly, efficient, and fast. The decor is so beautiful. I love the big tree in the middle of the place. They also sell premium matcha so you can make your own at home. Pastries are also sold as well. There's a list of most popular tricks and they can modify tricks for you. Saw a long line and decided to join it with zero expectations but I am very glad I did. As a boba fanatic I am very surprised cha redefined flew under my radar. Although the wait was long, the flavors were unlike anything I have had in a long time. The matcha tornado combined texture and flavor to deliver a treat that is *not* too sweet. Pretty busy when I went here but the service is quick. There's some wood like chairs that you can use to seat while waiting for your number to be called. The ambiance is nice. So.. wait time: 50 mins from when I got in line to getting my drinks. Idk if I'll wait again next time. I only waited because I was also waiting for dinner Onto the Drinks! So I got everything 50% sweet, because that's how I usually get mine at RH. But... apparently they must've done their sugar a bit differently. It's practically tasteless.. for all drinks. Peach Oolong Cha with Vanilla Foam (2/5) Oolong is pretty good, but I don't think I came for just Oolong. Can't really taste peach. It's definitely not sweet. I feel like I came for a healthy tea with this drink. Vanilla cream is also pretty watery, not really into it. I recommend they add cheese foam as option. Lychee tea (1/5) Idk what I'm drinking. There's foam but no flavor. Looks like it should be slushee but it's "separated", so I'm just drinking lychee flavor sugar water. Matcha Tornado (3.5/5) maybe it's not my flavor. I like matcha, which I see but don't taste. I like taro, and it's pretty good here. But idk how I like them together. I added boba and they make good boba so that's +1. I would give it another try with them separately.. Sri Lanka Ceylon Milk Tea (3/5) it's not really flavorful, maybe it's just missing more sweetness. I can taste the hint of ceylon tea tho, so I know it's ceylon.. but it's really light. All in all, half sugar for everything was a mistake. I usually get 50% everywhere else. I recommend everyone else to start with full sugar or 75% so you actually taste the drink. Add more ice or something at home if it's too sweet. At least then you can adjust and fix it. Their drinks here are so well made. They have an abundance of great drinks to choose from, but I love their blueberry matcha drink. It's something I've never seen before in other boba shops, and I'm glad I gave it a try. I appreciate when places let you adjust the sweetness level to your drink, since I don't like drinks too sweet. While the drinks are really great, this place is super busy. Almost every time I've been there, I had to wait at least 15 minutes to get my drink. Even when I ordered through their app and got there 15 minutes after I ordered it, I had to wait another 10 minutes to get my drinks. They are a popular boba spot, so it's going to be busy in most hours of the day. Lastly, I know people typically don't go to boba spots for the service but some of these workers are unfriendly. When I went to ask if my drink order was ready, the guy looked for my drink, found it, and pushed the drinks so that they would slide along the table and almost caused it to tip over/fall. I got 3 out of 4 of my drinks, had to inquire about the 4th drink. They had to make it and it was the wrong order. I didn't want to wait more than I already had to, so I took the drinks and left. While the drinks are really good and innovative, sometimes the wait can be discouraging to come again. read more
