I'll say the Gardenia Milk Tea itself was quite good. The tea flavor was very noticeable and you can actually taste the gardenia, which I liked. But the boba was super soft and mushy, which was a huge letdown, especially for a boba spot. They're also giving out zodiac pins right now, and you can get one during your birthday month, which I thought was pretty cool. Just came by for a quick drink after dinner. It was a bit crowded but not too crowded, there wasn't a line and we ordered via the kiosk. I think since it's still new they had a spin the wheel for a prize per order. We took a turn and got a coupon for %80 off one drink. After ordering, you get a number and there's some seating like a couch and a few tables and chairs and they will call out your number. I got the supreme matcha drink, it was set to recommended 50% sweetness and tasted pretty good (had to mix it completely to ensure the milk and matcha are mixed). I really liked the thickness and creaminess but it had a strong aromatic tea flavor that I think many will like, but not my favorite. Very disappointing experience, mainly because of the service from a staff member named CONNOR His attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional, and the way he spoke to us was disrespectful and unnecessarily harsh. I understand that a boba shop can get busy, but that is never an excuse to speak to customers in such a rude and unpleasant way. Connor's attitude completely ruined the experience for me. I am a huge fan of Molly tea. This is my first time at the Arcadia location and I have a love and hate relationship with how the drinks are always rotating. I love how there are always new drinks, but I am missing their mango series. I tried their jasmine apple milk tea and loved it - floral with a scent of apple. We also ordered the Tongmu Lapsang Salted Cheese which consists of hazlenut cheese + cocoa powder + tongmuguan black tea + salted cheese. That drink was very good - not overly sweet and perfectly delicious with the combination of flavors. I also got a free pin since I ordered one of their new jasmine apple drinks. I didn't even know until I picked up my drinks. This location was also really nice. I enjoyed the cozy seatings. Parking was easy since it was in a plaza - can get busy on weekends. Employees are the face of a business any business and your was a disappointment to me and my family. Here is the short story we were lining up for the kiosk and found that some item on menu was not on the kiosk we spent a long time then we asked an employee who was busy helping another customer manually enter their order on her screen we waited patiently until she was done with the process then we went to speak with her and we mentioned to her we wanted to order this item but it was not on the kiosk menu she then told me oh we are sold out and then we said okay can we order this other item and then she said please use the kiosk. We said can you take our order she said no you can use the kiosk and pointed . She just literally helped someone else but not us ??? What would you do owners of Molly Tea if you walked to a store and experienced this ?? Would you want to spend your hard earned money and spend $8.00 on a drink to be treated and after being treated this way ??? I rest my case. On another note. We went to in and out and they had a different tone and consistent tone among ALL their employees. Smile acknowledge courteous friendly staffs from order taker to order received . I had my niece scan the QR code while I was driving by the front and we ordered from our phone to avoid waiting in line to order. The inside is a crowded mess. You want to minimally want to deal with the chaos. My niece ordered the Premium Jasmine Matcha ($6.99) and I ordered the Premium Jasmine Tea with the Jasmine Whipped Cream with Pecan ($8.08). All the drinks here are one size. So we waited nearly 30 minutes for our drinks in the comfort of my car. Time went by fast cause I was hanging out with my cute niece but I don't think I normally have the patience for this. When we got the text that the order was ready. We fight the hoard to go to pick up. I was sipping my tea and it was average tea... then I'm like wait something is missing. The jasmine whipped cream and pecan topping that we paid for is missing. Mhmm... we go back in and they gave us these cups they probably normally give to delivery orders and just shrugged us off. No acknowledgement of the order getting messed up. No apology. So back to the tea. For me it was average tea, not worth the wait or the price tag. Even worse for my niece. She took a few sips and THREW IT AWAY. Apparently the Jasmine matcha was awful. Yikes. I have been eyeing Molly Tea Arcadia since they had their Grand Opening. I finally made it here last weekend. They sit right in between Kai Ramen and JJ Bakery in the Baldwin Plaza. Pleasantly surprised with the good amount of seating inside. Love the long bench right in front of the counter. Wonderful for customers to sit while waiting for their order. Interior decor was warm and welcoming. There's a big cute figurine statue of Molly I presume. They also have merch for purchase. Two self-ordering kiosks available that are easy and simple to use. One all gender restroom available in the back of the shop. Jasmine Mango Smoothie for me. It was amazing! I loved the Jasmine-scented tea with creamy mango smoothie that came with fresh sweet mango and juicy grapefruit all mixed in with coconut milk. SO GOOD! I would get this again. Premium Jasmine Milk Tea with boba for my Mom. She can taste the delightful Jasmine tea flavor. She loved it! She is not easy to please so well done Molly Tea and thank you. One of the best drinks I've had so far this year! Molly Tea has a social media following from my understanding. My wife and I happened to be in the area late in the evening and we dropped in. The location has plenty of parking, but I imagine it came be a challenge during earlier hours. The location was packed! Almost all the tables were occupied and it was around 10pm. The vibe was energetic and lively. You come in and order on the kiosk. You can feel a bit rushed if you don't know exactly what you want right away. I ended up choosing the Pistachio Jasmine Coconut and my wife ordered the Premium Jasmine Mango Coconut Tea. The orders were being called out left and right. By the time, we picked up our the staff completed my order by adding the cream and pistachios bits. Super cool! Their drinks have outstanding aesthetics. More importantly, they tasted amazing! The tastes and textures of that pistachio drink left me happy and has me nodding with approval. My wife was very happy with her drink and loved every sip. When the drinks match all the hype. I think the matcha white champaca salted cheese is my new favorite drink. I got it with half sugar and it was the perfect sweetness. I honestly didn't taste much of the matcha though, which was unfortunate, but I did love the green tea with the foam top. It looked more aesthetic with the contrast of colors but it's there more for the aesthetic than the flavor. This location is much better than San Gabriel in terms of wait time and efficiency. We stopped by Molly Tea around 12:45 on a Saturday afternoon and honestly had great timing because a huge line started forming right after we ordered. Even with the rush, our drinks came out pretty quickly. We ordered the premium jasmine mango coconut tea and the osmanthus oolong milk tea with boba. I usually prefer my drinks less sweet, so I did 0% sugar on the osmanthus milk tea, although there wasn't an option to adjust the sweetness on the jasmine mango drink. The boba here is pretty small and super soft. It was more of a melt-in-your-mouth texture instead of the usual chewy consistency. The brown sugar boba did overpower the osmanthus flavor a little, but it was still a solid drink overall. Definitely think getting the drink sweetened and adding boba would have been too much sweetness. The jasmine mango coconut tea was definitely on the sweeter side, but the mango flavor was strong and the drink itself was really refreshing. I'm really glad Molly Tea opened up a second location with an actual parking lot. The other one in San Gabriel doesn't have much of a parking lot and it's mostly street parking. This one is a little bit smaller than the SG one but that doesn't deter away from the quality of the drinks. My go is usually the Jasmine Tea with Oat Milk. Bonus points that they don't charge extra for Oat Milk as most other places do. One thing that I wished they did was have oat milk was an option into other drinks like their jasmine apple tea. The drinks itself is one of the best for the Jasmine Oat Milk tea. The Jasmine is really fragrant and you can tell immediately that it's special on your first sip. The default of the drink is less ice and less sugar (70%), I personally wouldn't do no ice because it tastes a little different. This Molly Tea is really loud since it's a bit smaller. The doors are almost always open because it's usually packed. There is lots of seating but there aren't many tables and they are small so it's nice to sit and chat but I wouldn't treat it as a study place. Service is pretty good but it can take a while for a drink. It is faster than the SG one since that one can take like 30 mins or so. This one you can get a drink in about 15 mins or so. The parking lot has a few entrances but one of them is an exit only or enter only if you enter on Baldwin. It is shared with other businesses so it can get packed. In short -- I'm addicted to this place so easy 5 stars. read more

First impressions is that this location is a bit smaller, practically the same amount of seating in a smaller area. I'd say this one is cleaner as well. Parking is free in a moderate sized lot, maybe a bit congested as there's other popular shops around like bakeries, ramen, and other food places. Inside consist of 2 self ordering kiosks, counter ordering is available as well through staff. Drinks quality is practically the same as the SGV location, my go to drinks here can change from time to time but you can't go wrong with one of their most popular drinks: White Champaca Oolong and the Jasmine Matcha.
