I've noticed the quality of the drinks here has been inconsistent lately. I've ordered drinks with less ice, but they were made with more ice than requested. I've also asked for 50% sweetness, but the drink didn't taste like 50% sweet at all. This has happened more than once, which makes me wonder if the drink orders are actually being read carefully. I really hope they can improve their attention to customizations because getting the order right makes a big difference in the overall experience.
Finally tried the mango mango drink! Can't believe the drink includes 3 mangos in it along with other ingredients. I can see why my coworkers love it too! Will definitely reorder this again but maybe at one of their other locations because parking was difficult to find in the small plaza.
Went with my coworkers to try the drinks and they were honestly rlly good. We got the mango drink and the rice Hojicha drink. The service was very quick and the drinks came out quickly. The store isn't super big with a couple of seats to sit while you chat or wait for your drinks. There's this free photo machine which is so cute for aesthetic hangouts.
We actually got our order delivered to our office today, and I would say my drink really hit the spot on a labor intensive day. I got the mango mango which was a quite refreshing green tea smoothie. The drink was loaded with huge chunks of fresh mango, agar boba, county milk, with a twist of grape fruit. The drink is definitely on the sweeter side, but it was refreshing and everything was as you'd expect. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

Came here wanting to grab a tea as a refreshment. The inside is very small so the recommendation is to get it to go. The service was fast on the weekend. Would recommend their many assortments of teas. The jasmine was really good.
I ordered the Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte ($7.25 - Large - 75% Sweet - Less Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). To my immense surprise, it's very delicious. The milk carries that crisp, fresh tea flavor. And its Brown Sugar Boba came silky, warm, and supple. It's one of the best boba that I've ever tasted. (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring card or contactless payment.) I arrived at Cha Redefine (Rowland Heights) on a Tuesday (around 11:30AM - Opening Time). Parking is available, but it's competitive. Luckily, I found an open spot in its big lot. As I approached Cha Redefine (Rowland Heights), I felt myself frowning at the "B" sign on its window. When I entered, Staff casually glanced upon me before resuming their chatter amongst one another. There's two self-service kiosks, and I felt disappointed how each screen looked sticky and smudgy despite being the first customer of the day. Staff felt youthful and easily distracted. When I'd sit down, Staff were audibly gossiping and laughing about past customers. It felt surreal and unprofessional. Staff did greet me kindly when I made eye contact; however, the direct interaction with Staff felt minimal. My order took two minutes and 11 seconds. Very quick! As mentioned, I genuinely loved the Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte ($7.25 - Large - 75% Sweet - Less Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). It's Sri Lanka Ceylon Black Tea with Fresh Milk, Whipped Cream, and Honey Roasted Pecan. The top felt fluffy; the honey roasted pecan had a fresh crunch; and the tea felt fresh and soothing. The warm brown sugar boba were the showstopper though. I felt myself melt into a puddle of joy as I munched on these cuddly, fresh pearls. Concerning ambiance, Cha Redefine (Rowland Heights) is fairly bare. The four small tables, floors, and windows are very clean. However, during my visit, the restroom was out-of-order. The music is upbeat and soft. There's also about four available electrical sockets beneath its long bench. When I'd arrived, there were not many customers during opening time. Overall, Cha Redefine (Rowland Heights) offers thoughtful, good quality drinks. I found joy sipping my Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte ($7.25 - Large - 75% Sweet - Less Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). It's delicious. If nearby, I recommend. 4.7 out of 5
What's the point of having a rewards program if the reward can't even be honored? I drove all the way from Orange County to redeem a birthday reward through their Toast rewards app, which provides a $5 off QR code that is supposedly scannable in-store. Unfortunately, none of the employees were able to scan the code and simply told me to try ordering online instead -- except there isn't even an option to order online. It felt like the system was set up to fail, and no one was willing to help troubleshoot or find a workaround. The staff came across as nonchalant and dismissive about the issue. What frustrated me most was that even though they could have taken my order directly, they told me to go back to the kiosk and try again, which required waiting in line behind seven people. After about a 15-minute wait, I finally got back to the kiosk and discovered the reward only applied after entering my phone number -- not by scanning the QR code like the app instructs. I don't place all the blame on the employees -- the app itself is poorly designed and misleading -- but the lack of guidance and customer support in-store made the experience worse. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit, and unfortunately we won't be coming back. **note: the irony in all this was that I showed them the Toast app, which they operate their reward system from and the employees looked at me like they were seeing it for the very first time. If you look down at the register, it literally says "Toast" on it and so does the screen where you enter your number for rewards.
Orange Green Tea with Avocado Foam was shockingly good... It sounds like a really odd pairing BECAUSE IT IS! I recommend sipping the avocado foam alone first. Almost like avocado ice cream, but better. Super fresh, rich, and creamy! I looooved this. I could eat that by itself even... The Orange Green Tea itself was super tasty!!! Fresh orange juice with lots of pulp. Not too sweet (I got 50% sugar) and the tea flavor shined through. A fragrant jasmine tea. I recommend!
One of the best hojicha lattes I've tried!! Cheese Hojicha Jelly Latte It was creamy and the hojicha flavor was nice and strong. Nice cheese taste from the cheese milk. Doesn't feel oily. Comes with da hong pao tea jelly, which has just the right consistency and texture, not too firm and not too soft. Served with fresh milk. 50% sugar wasn't too sweet. Got it with less ice. Even 75% sugar didn't seem too sweet surprisingly. !! BOGO 1/23-1/29 !! *this promo is only for their hojicha series Highly recommend and would get it again
Update: I was for their seasonal mangosteen BOGO. TBH neither of the drinks stood out to me. I got them both with no sweet. I wasn't a fan of the pearl in the Jasmine mangosteen pearl. Also the mangosteen flavor isn't strong and it tastes artificial flavored. The peach flavor isn't strong enough either. I wouldn't get these two drinks again. Had a good experience here at Cha Redefine. Came in no wait, browsed the menu a little bit and had no questions. Everything was pretty descriptive if you are familiar with most tea houses. Our drinks were made in a very reasonable amount of time. We didn't have to wait excessively as some reviews had mentioned. It was perfect for us because we had gotten some food at Liang Crispy Roll and since they have no tables there, we brought our food to Cha Redefine where they have 4 small tables to sit and enjoy our drinks and our food. It all worked out. As for the size, getting the larger of the two sizes was only an additional charge of $.45, so pretty worth it.
Service/wait: - came around 7pm on a Wednesday, not too packed - friendly attentive workers - workers are willing to give reccomendations as well if you're unsure what to order! First time here and can only comment on their da hong pao chappuccino, 25% sweet and it was perfect for me. I love that it was less than $5! I mean, most places are crazy expensive to recover from the pandemic. So I appreciate them keeping the prices low. Will have to come back and try their other options when it's not as cold out. Got drinks from here on multiple occasions already. I tried both the Mango Mango and the Blueberry drink and liked the Mango Mango the most. Even though I usually don't prefer Agar boba, I actually quite like it in this drink. I've done online order here once and probably recommend that you let the cashiers know you are here once you arrive, just in case they are busy. Discovered this place in Pasadena and wished it was closer to me. Lo and behold! It's here in Rowland Heights. *Also, the prices are a little cheaper than the Pasadena location (makes sense though due to location). I am a sucker for boba shops that creates their own spin on drinks aside from those typical boba shops made with strictly powder and syrup. Also, thanks to their promo going on right now I am able to try several different drinks to see which one will be my go-to! One gripe I have with Cha Redefine though is that I've stopped by this shop on 3 separate occasions for their buy 2 drinks get 1 soft serve free only to find out their soft serve machine has been broken for weeks. I'm unsure why they were still advertising this promotion when it wasn't working. Everything aside, I've had the following: - Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte (iced) - Rose Jade Cha - Cha Redefine Classic Chappuccino - 4 Seasons High Mountain Chappuccino - Dirty Avocado - Coco Avocado - Peach Oolong with Avocado Foam All were pretty solid drinks. I don't have any complaints about taste there. I ordered everything 50% sweet which was just right for me. My favorites would be the Coco Avocado and Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte. AMAZING! The best matcha mango drink I've ever had...I'm talking better than Omomo (yes, I mean that) , Hui Lau Shan (which is known for featuring mango), and any of happy lemons matcha mango drinks. The flavor and quality of ingredients of my drink blew me away. The matcha tastes almost like Japanese green tea ice cream but with the appropriate icy smoothie texture and real chunks of mango. And not the syrupy kind that most places use. My sister ordered a Coco Avocado(?) and it was also really yummy! Coconut milk, real strawberries, and I think an avocado foam. Really the best drink I've ever had at any boba/tea place. Definitely unique creativity and brains behind their drinks! Their top 10 drinks all sound really special and I can't wait to come back to try all the drinks!! Drinks were made quickly also! There's also a few clean tables inside to sit and enjoy your drinks (rare these days for tea places to have tables for you to chill). Definitely going to be crowd poppin soon! read more
I have came here twice now, both were from hearing about the promo of buying 2 drinks and getting a free matcha/sri lanka milk tea soft serve. For the first time I came, there was quite a long line, probably because of having to also give out the soft serve while making the drinks. When we ordered, they told me they were out of the matcha soft serve (I was sad because I really wanted to try this one haha) but they did have the sri lanka, so we got that one instead. I was actually surprised with how good this was, I wasn't expecting it to be that good, I honestly would want another one of it. The sri lanka soft serve also had some nuts (I forgot what kind though) on top but I would have preferred the ice cream without it. The second time, definitely a shorter time but unfortunately, their ice cream machine broke, so did not get an ice cream at all, so I was grateful we at least got to try the sri lanka one prior. The staff member who helped us was nice about it and explained the situation, and offered us to keep our order paper as a "coupon voucher" and redeem it at a later time. As for the drinks, I got the fresh orange green tea with avocado foam (the first time) since it was one of the top drinks and the blueberry oat milk matcha (second time). I think the fresh orange green tea was pretty good and refreshing with a lot of orange pulps inside but I couldn't really taste the avocado foam. I don't think adding the avocado foam is worth (its also $1.50 for it and I didn't realize I could just order it without the foam since the top drinks area listed the drink with it...). The blueberry oat milk matcha was really good and I liked it way more than the orange green tea. I was hesitant on the oat milk since I don't really like it, but it tasted like regular milk and went well with the good quality matcha. It seems like they didn't use fresh blueberries though, more like syrup but still good. My sister got the matcha mango mountain from the mango series and the matcha tornado (with taro) and we both agreed the one with taro tasted better! Overall, I would recommend this place, and want to try some of the other popular drinks here. Ambiance is casual with some tables to sit at and you can hang out with friends while drinking boba. One of my favorite spots now. My friend showed me this place after I asked about going to a different boba place in the same plaza. She said they had this chappucino type of drink and that it was good which intrigued me. Im really picky about boba flavors so I was hesitant but Im glad I tried this place! We went on a monday or Wednesday which wasnt busy at all. They have a self ordering machine and you can also order at the cash register or online before hand. They have AC and music blasting pretty hard. The decor or aesthetic isnt anything special but that doesnt really matter for me since the drink is the most important factor. I got the peach oolong chappucino I thought it was pretty good. They made it decently fast but it was also not busy at all. Nowadays I always order the da hong pao chappucino and Im addicted to it. I lke their boba cause they make it soft and chewy, and their milk teas arent to sweet and doesnt have that artificial tasted that some boba places. read more

My boyfriend and I have been on the hunt for a good blueberry matcha drink, and this place is where to get it! We came back several times in the span of a week because we were always craving it. In terms of their other drinks, I cannot vouch for them. However, they do have a wide selection to choose from. The workers are usually pretty fast at making the drinks. In terms of a place to sit down and talk, the music is somewhat loud, so I don't think it is the best place to do that. read more

I came for the special I saw on Instagram, which was buy 2 drinks get a free soft serve... but the machine was down at the time. :((( the girls in the front were very empathetic and nice about it tho, so I understood. Hopefully I'll try to come back and it'll be working before the promotion ends! I ended up just getting a regular Sri Lanka Ceylon milk tea with boba! It already comes at 75% sweetness, so if you like your drinks on the sweeter side I say ask for extra sweet. I normally get my drinks at 75% at other places anyways, so how they make it normally here was perfect for me!! I loved the nutty, but refreshing and light taste of the tea. I could honestly do without the whipped cream, but I do like the little pecan pieces on top. Inside has a few tables, and the wall next to the register is filled with goodies for purchase! I come here often and they recently released taro drinks and I've been wanting to get into taro so I have hopes for it. They have a kiosk to order drinks and it was very easy to navigate. I tried mochi taro and it hits so good!!! The mochi is so soft and chewy and it's fresh taro paste compared to to the powdered ones. If you prefer an emphasis on strong tea flavors, this will be your cup of tea (pun intended), but even that is a stretch. Cha Redefine scores a mediocre in my book with nothing being too memorable. Da-Hong-Pao chappuccino / A fragrant oolong milk tea, nothing special. And why call it a 'chappuccino' when it's just a milk tea and not at all reminiscent of a cappuccino or frappe like what the name suggests?? Refreshing peach chappuccino / Peach + oolong milk tea...never thought I'd see the day when that combo makes sense but it works! Service was kind of stale and the space wasn't really inviting with the diminutive pieces of stone that were barely passable as tables and seats made of stone to match. I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE. I've been to so many tea stores from the U.S. to China to Taiwan (OG boba tea), and CHA Redefine never disappoints me. Their tea flavor is on par with the boba tea stores in Asia and their sweetness level is perfect (imo)! I highly recommend their jasmine green tea for a light refreshing taste. Their tea isn't bitter and def not watered down. Whatever sugar they use doesn't stick to your tongue and each sip leaves your mouth with a floral aromatic taste. Highly recommend! read more
This location used to be TeaBrick with their cute corgi cups. Inside the interior is not too different from the previous. On the left side, there is a ton of merchandise that is available to purchase. And the right side, there is minimal seat. Not great for big groups. I got the Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte and my girlfriend got the Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte. The Blueberry drink was not very flavorful. The blueberry taste was barely there. There was also nothing too special about the Sri Lanka. I got it because of its Top Choice on their list. Sadly, this won't be my first choice to come here for boba. The service was on-point. I am allergic to nuts, and on top the Sri Lanka, there are tree nuts. The barista helped us remove the nuts and apply fresh whipped cream. I was looking for a good matcha place around Rowland, and Cha Redefine might be my new favorite matcha place!! I got their matcha with their house milk, and my friend got their Avocado Strawberry drink. Both drinks were really good, and not too sweet, but the perfect amount of flavor where you can taste their matcha and avocado flavor. However, I also tried their coconut latte, which was a lot more bitter than I expected. The coffee flavor is kind of overpowering and you cannot really taste the coconut flavor, so it felt like I was just drinking straight up coffee. I got it regular sweetness too. I would definitely come back to try their matcha drinks! The service is really good and the workers are all very nice and gave us good recommendations on their favorite drinks. Cha Redefine is a new tea shop open in Rowland Heights with other locations in Pasadena as well as DTLA and upcoming locations at South Coast Plaza and Santa Anita Mall. Their menu features their top 10 drinks and is broken down by milk tea, tea, tea x fruits, matcha and coffee. They offer milk substitutes (almond, oat and soy) as well as toppings (boba, agar boba, avocado foam, vanilla foam and taro paste. You also have the option to adjust your ice and sweetness to your liking. I was a little overwhelmed with the the menu (blaming my old eyes and glare of the afternoon sun) and opted for the top two drinks on the menu. Number 1: Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte I arrived around 2 and they were already out of boba so I didn't get to try this with boba. The drink was extremely milky especially for a black tea drink and very pale in color. The drink pretty much tastes how it looks - very milky, not much tea flavor and lightly sweet (I adjust my sugar to quarter). The pecans while aesthetically pleasing didn't really make sense to me in the drink. The overall look is kinda reminiscent of a frappucino sans being ice blended. Number 2: Refreshing Peach Chappuccino w/ agar boba (added) This drink was also extremely milky but had a nice light peach flavor oolong tea. I also got 25% sweet on this and it was just right. I wish I had more tea flavor instead of milky flavor though. They also sell their loose leaf teas as well which look nicely packaged in gift sets or in bags. Overall I do think this place has potential as they offer interesting drinks and flavors. However, the execution doesn't seem quite right as the flavor of the tea is overwhelmed by milk and other flavors (at least in the two drinks I got). I'm not entirely sure this was a one off experience as they were very busy. I'd be willing to come back and try out their plain tea or maybe fruit teas instead. read more

My favorite drink is the Taro Matcha, it's basically a matcha latte with taro cream on top. Sooo good and not very sweet! It's a bit pricey at $7 but they use ceremonial matcha which is really high quality, so if you really like matcha this price is justifyable. I do wish they had more seating areas as it's a little awkward sitting at a small table trying to talk to your friends. But their drinks are always really good and it's great to stop by if you're craving good tea or boba. read more

I never order these type of drinks since I'm more of a green tea fruit girl but when I saw this has a house made taro paste and taro foam I had to give it a try. You can customize the sweetness level plus they have non-dairy milk substitutes! They made this pretty fast especially considering I ordered by delivery. read more

Cha Redefine is celebrating their 5 year anniversary with new limited edition drinks The newest beverages to join the menu are its handmade mochi and seasonal fresh peach drinks. The mochi is really unique and has a nice texture to it. The Cha Cha Peachy is super refreshing and is perfect for the summer Make sure to get there early though! Lines can get looooong so I'd recommend going as soon as possible! read more

parking is really easy and the interior here feels cozy and nice. the mango mango has a nice balance of sweet, sour, and tart. the blueberry oat has an amazing taste and the matcha here is definitely high quality. the service here is great as well and they are definitely hard working. read more

I was sad to see that Tea Brick was gone but also happy that another great boba place took over. I've tried their Pasadena location before and was pretty impressed. This one as soon as you walk in, the vibes and aesthetics are all there. Very modern and chic. I got their Rose Jade Cha w/Boba and it was so refreshing. You can just tell how rich their tea is. The boba was also cooked to perfection with a soft and chewy texture. It wasn't too sweet which I love. My friend also really enjoyed her drink. Definitely one of my favorite spots now! read more

Some people have a SERIOUS issue with avocados, and every time I hear that, I ask myself HOW can somebody have an issue with such a DELICIOUS FRUIT? Not to mention the HEALTH properties that it has. So when I checked Cha Redefine's menu and saw that 50% of their smoothies HAD avocado, I was sold even before parking in front of the place. The combo of FULL FAT Coconut milk, plus avocado AND mango, is one of the most DELICIOUS things I can recall trying in a LONG time. Don't even get me started with how fresh this tastes. The suite itself is very aesthetic. Too small if you as my honest opinion, assuming it gets PACKED in the summer (as it should) cause honestly, no other tea house is making anything close to similar. I fell in love with this smoothie. If you do happen to order this, MAKE SURE you get a boba straw, cause the mango chunks will not go thru the standard size one tho, I can say it may delay the extreme gratification of finding these mango chunks at the end. I just found my new favorite boba shop! I'm very skeptical about my bobas because I make my own boba, and I've also had really good boba in Taiwan. First of all, service is always great. The workers always looked very pleasant and they are always happy to take my reusable boba cups without any bs. I've been looking for places that would take reusables so I'm really happy to finally find one (please keep doing that, and encourage more customers to do so!) Second, the drinks are great! So far I've tried the #1 milk tea and avocado coco shake, both are really good! My boyfriend and I usually share one, and we'd still have a lot left when we get home. But for the first time ever, we finished it before we even got home! That definitely says something. Lastly, the space is kind of small but efficient. There's a few seats but people mostly just sit there when they wait for their drinks then head out. Cleanliness is 8.5/10. I'll definitely be coming back often! read more
