Finally tried the mango mango drink! Can't believe the drink includes 3 mangos in it along with other ingredients. I can see why my coworkers love it too! Will definitely reorder this again but maybe at one of their other locations because parking was difficult to find in the small plaza.
Went with my coworkers to try the drinks and they were honestly rlly good. We got the mango drink and the rice Hojicha drink. The service was very quick and the drinks came out quickly. The store isn't super big with a couple of seats to sit while you chat or wait for your drinks. There's this free photo machine which is so cute for aesthetic hangouts.
I add $3.50 for Double avocado foam, But I only got regular amount. I ask them is it double foam, They told me yes. ？？whenever I came back LA, I ONLY gET that drink, I know what it looks like. This drink is $11.50, and I gave $1 tip. By the way, I am working in boba shop for 6 years. Don't treat customer as fool.
We actually got our order delivered to our office today, and I would say my drink really hit the spot on a labor intensive day. I got the mango mango which was a quite refreshing green tea smoothie. The drink was loaded with huge chunks of fresh mango, agar boba, county milk, with a twist of grape fruit. The drink is definitely on the sweeter side, but it was refreshing and everything was as you'd expect. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.
My fave drink here..their Poppin Milk Tea Quarter Sweet, w/ Rice Krispies, and popping barley boba; has so many layers to it, coconut, barley, roasted tea~ My top 3 tea stores here in Rowland-- 3Cat, CHA Redefine, Chi Cha, w/ Tenju a runner up 4th.
Came here wanting to grab a tea as a refreshment. The inside is very small so the recommendation is to get it to go. The service was fast on the weekend. Would recommend their many assortments of teas. The jasmine was really good.
Update: I was for their seasonal mangosteen BOGO. TBH neither of the drinks stood out to me. I got them both with no sweet. I wasn't a fan of the pearl in the Jasmine mangosteen pearl. Also the mangosteen flavor isn't strong and it tastes artificial flavored. The peach flavor isn't strong enough either. I wouldn't get these two drinks again. I ordered the Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte ($7.25 - Large - 75% Sweet - Less Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). To my immense surprise, it's very delicious. The milk carries that crisp, fresh tea flavor. And its Brown Sugar Boba came silky, warm, and supple. It's one of the best boba that I've ever tasted. (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring card or contactless payment.) I arrived at Cha Redefine (Rowland Heights) on a Tuesday (around 11:30AM - Opening Time). Parking is available, but it's competitive. Luckily, I found an open spot in its big lot. As I approached Cha Redefine (Rowland Heights), I felt myself frowning at the "B" sign on its window. When I entered, Staff casually glanced upon me before resuming their chatter amongst one another. There's two self-service kiosks, and I felt disappointed how each screen looked sticky and smudgy despite being the first customer of the day. Staff felt youthful and easily distracted. When I'd sit down, Staff were audibly gossiping and laughing about past customers. It felt surreal and unprofessional. Staff did greet me kindly when I made eye contact; however, the direct interaction with Staff felt minimal. My order took two minutes and 11 seconds. Very quick! As mentioned, I genuinely loved the Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte ($7.25 - Large - 75% Sweet - Less Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). It's Sri Lanka Ceylon Black Tea with Fresh Milk, Whipped Cream, and Honey Roasted Pecan. The top felt fluffy; the honey roasted pecan had a fresh crunch; and the tea felt fresh and soothing. The warm brown sugar boba were the showstopper though. I felt myself melt into a puddle of joy as I munched on these cuddly, fresh pearls. Concerning ambiance, Cha Redefine (Rowland Heights) is fairly bare. The four small tables, floors, and windows are very clean. However, during my visit, the restroom was out-of-order. The music is upbeat and soft. There's also about four available electrical sockets beneath its long bench. When I'd arrived, there were not many customers during opening time. Overall, Cha Redefine (Rowland Heights) offers thoughtful, good quality drinks. I found joy sipping my Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte ($7.25 - Large - 75% Sweet - Less Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). It's delicious. If nearby, I recommend. 4.7 out of 5
What's the point of having a rewards program if the reward can't even be honored? I drove all the way from Orange County to redeem a birthday reward through their Toast rewards app, which provides a $5 off QR code that is supposedly scannable in-store. Unfortunately, none of the employees were able to scan the code and simply told me to try ordering online instead -- except there isn't even an option to order online. It felt like the system was set up to fail, and no one was willing to help troubleshoot or find a workaround. The staff came across as nonchalant and dismissive about the issue. What frustrated me most was that even though they could have taken my order directly, they told me to go back to the kiosk and try again, which required waiting in line behind seven people. After about a 15-minute wait, I finally got back to the kiosk and discovered the reward only applied after entering my phone number -- not by scanning the QR code like the app instructs. I don't place all the blame on the employees -- the app itself is poorly designed and misleading -- but the lack of guidance and customer support in-store made the experience worse. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit, and unfortunately we won't be coming back. **note: the irony in all this was that I showed them the Toast app, which they operate their reward system from and the employees looked at me like they were seeing it for the very first time. If you look down at the register, it literally says "Toast" on it and so does the screen where you enter your number for rewards.
Orange Green Tea with Avocado Foam was shockingly good... It sounds like a really odd pairing BECAUSE IT IS! I recommend sipping the avocado foam alone first. Almost like avocado ice cream, but better. Super fresh, rich, and creamy! I looooved this. I could eat that by itself even... The Orange Green Tea itself was super tasty!!! Fresh orange juice with lots of pulp. Not too sweet (I got 50% sugar) and the tea flavor shined through. A fragrant jasmine tea. I recommend!
One of the best hojicha lattes I've tried!! Cheese Hojicha Jelly Latte It was creamy and the hojicha flavor was nice and strong. Nice cheese taste from the cheese milk. Doesn't feel oily. Comes with da hong pao tea jelly, which has just the right consistency and texture, not too firm and not too soft. Served with fresh milk. 50% sugar wasn't too sweet. Got it with less ice. Even 75% sugar didn't seem too sweet surprisingly. !! BOGO 1/23-1/29 !! *this promo is only for their hojicha series Highly recommend and would get it again
Had a good experience here at Cha Redefine. Came in no wait, browsed the menu a little bit and had no questions. Everything was pretty descriptive if you are familiar with most tea houses. Our drinks were made in a very reasonable amount of time. We didn't have to wait excessively as some reviews had mentioned. It was perfect for us because we had gotten some food at Liang Crispy Roll and since they have no tables there, we brought our food to Cha Redefine where they have 4 small tables to sit and enjoy our drinks and our food. It all worked out. As for the size, getting the larger of the two sizes was only an additional charge of $.45, so pretty worth it.
I've been to their other locations, and this one is just as good. There's some seating inside, and they also have a big parking lot, though it does fill up fast. You order through a self-service kiosk, which is convenient. We got the osmanthus chappuccino and the cha cha hojicha. Both were really good! Our favorite part was the mochi in the drinks, and the added oats in the cha cha hojicha gave it such a nice texture. They also have a cute free photo booth inside, which adds to the experience. Definitely recommend!
I've been good when it comes to not getting boba/watching my sugar, but visiting Cha Redefine makes it hard to keep that habit. This location can get busy, but is better staffed than their Costa Mesa location which is in a mall food court. All their drinks are the perfect amount of sweetness (75% is the default) and they have a fun variety of options besides the classic milk and matcha teas. I ordered their Taro Tornado and Coco Avocado. Was a huge fan of the first one since they use paste instead of powder, but the strawberries in the coco avocado threw me off a little. It has a hangout vibe if you can get a seat at one of their few tables, but otherwise it's just as easy to get to-go and find somewhere else to chat with friends. Service is quick and the price is reasonable. Hope I can visit on the weekend to try their soft serve! read more

This review is for the winter special black sesame series ONLY! RUN to get their black sesame mountain smoothie!!! IT IS SO GOOD! I got 50% sugar and it's the perfect amount. It's so hard to find a good black sesame drink these days but they nailed it! read more
I wanted to try the sri lanka latte soft serve so I called ahead and asked if they had it. The person said yes so I headed over only to be told that they only serve it on weekends. Why did they tell me over the phone that they had it then?!? Minus points for this interaction. I ended up ordering a jasmine chappucino which I'm glad I did bc it was so good! I like it more than the sri lanka latte. It's the perfect blend of tea and creaminess in my opinion and is comparable to the matcha cortado at Omomo. read more

I've been eyeing Cha Redefine for a while now since they opened a location in the Santa Anita mall in Arcadia. Unfortunately, that location has been so busy and popular and the wait has been so long that I never got to try it... until today. I was in Rowland and decided to grab some boba and lo and behold, Cha Redefine came up on the Yelp search. I got the lemon peach oolong tea - with 75% sugar and less ice. I actually wanted no ice but they said that it wasn't an option. At around $6, they give you a pretty big cup (I believe it's large only). I didn't taste any peach flavor, but the lemon was very strong and tart. My drink was pretty much the perfect sweetness given how sour it was. Some gripes were that I couldn't get 0% ice and that there were giant lemon seeds inside my drink. My friend got one of their matcha lattes and enjoyed it. For 2 drinks, the total came out to $14 after tax/tip. There's free parking in the parking lot, but this is a really busy plaza, so there are a lot of cars. The spots are also quite compact. There's a gender-neutral restroom inside the cafe - it's not the cleanest, but it's ok. The cafe itself has indoor seating, but it's not very big. They are pet friendly which is nice. read more
if you're a matcha lover, you have to give cha redefine a try. me and my friends each got different drinks and tried them all -- every single one was so good! super smooth, not too sweet. fyi it is harder to find parking in this plaza since it gets busy and there's a bit of a wait the menu has a lot of fun options and the vibes are cute too. definitely a new go-to for matcha cravings! read more
Cha Redefine has really high quality and fresh ingredients with a variety of toppings, and I highly recommend this place for their drinks! You order at the kiosk, and then wait for your drink to be made. I waited about 10 minutes, but came in during a busy time. Parking can be a little hard to find as it is a busy plaza so I recommend just parking way in the back. I ordered the mango mochi drink which was so delicious! It tasted like a mango smoothie made with fresh smoothies and it wasn't too sweet either with 100% sweetness level. My favorite part about the drink was the mochi!!! It can be a little hard to drink, but the texture is very soft and chewy. I could not stop drinking it once I got it and will come back to try another drink with the mochi combo! The music can be a little loud, so it is better to take the drinks to go vs staying inside and talking to friends. read more

After perusing yelp, my friend and I decided to get post meal tea at Cha Redefine. I got the jasmine jade cream foam cha and my friend got the sri lanka ceylon cha latte. I was amazed by how the jasmine tea flavor shines through - and I am very rarely impressed by new tea places I go to. It was a pleasant surprise. My friend's drink was delicious as well, smooth and creamy although she got it at 0% sugar. There are several smaller tables inside as well. I'll be coming back for more! read more

Second time coming to this location. Their service is still... very slow. Taking forever to get your drink. Come on, we order from machine not from a live person, and 3 people making drinks in this hot 94degree day. Still have to wait 20 min to get the drinks. read more

This may be one of my new favorite boba places and considering how much I drink boba, it says a lot! I'm no longer a local to Socal, but was recommended this by a friend and let me tell you, it blew me away! I love that their teas are so authentic tasting and very apparent in their drinks. I went 2/5 days that I was in socal and tried their: 1. Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte - This milk tea was so delicious and creamy. I also loved the candied pecans as it added a crisp to each sip. The boba was perfectly chewy and sweetened. 2. Osmanthus Oolong Cha - If you're looking for something that tastes like your chinese mom or dad washed and brewed you a cup of tea, this is it, but with a bit of sugar. So delicious! Both drinks, I would definitely come back for. But hold on, I'm not done yet. Their showstopper was the free ice cream that came free if you buy 2 drinks (this is a current promo). My friend and I opted for the matcha and ceylon cha latte swirl ice cream that came with candied pecans on top. This was probably the best matcha ice cream and milk tea ice cream i've ever had. I typically can't eat more than 2 bites of ice cream, but this was so good, we almost finished it. I'll definitely be back for more boba and even ice cream! Please open one in the bay area! read more
The boba shop before this one (Tea Brick) used to be my favorite, so went to try out the new boba shop that took over this location. I had the blueberry matcha oat milk, and the server correctly followed my requests to my order. Definitely an interesting flavor and would try again. Atmosphere is simple with amble seats but not a lot of tables. It was pretty quiet on a weekend with only some to-go orders, so the service was fast. Parking lot is generally bad so don't go during peak hours or be prepared to wait for a parking spot. read more
This new tea shop took over the old Tea Brick location in the ever busy Fullerton Galleria plaza. Yes parking is hard to find here especially during peak weekend hours but usually you can find something either in the front lot or behind at the super market side. This Rowland Heights location is 3rd location for the Cha Redefined chain. The other two currently in DTLA and Pasadena with future expansions planned for South Coast Costa Mesa and Arcadia Santa Anita Mall in spring 2023. They do offer online ordering for delivery or pickup at the Pasadena location but not currently implemented for Rowland heights. The menu is broken down into 6 categories: Cha Lattes, Cream Foam Cha, Cha X fruits, Matcha, Coffee, Cha, and non caffeine/kids menu. Many of there drinks come in hot/cold options too. Cha Lattes: These are pretty much the "milk teas" But note they top these with whip cream and top with honey roasted pecans. Sri Lanka Ceylon Cha Latte: You do have your choice of whole milk or alt milks (almond with or without house cream, oat with or without house cream), sweetness level, hot or cold, then variety of topping add-ons. My usual order has been whole milk, half sweeten, iced. Note the wipe cream on top adds extra sweetness and creaminess if you're watching your sugar intake. The ceylon black tea is strong with a good tea flavor mixed with the milk and cream its pretty tasty. The whip cream is abit extra and didn't really care for the roasted pecans since they get mushy anyway. Peach oolong Cha: We tried this in the hot version. It's also got a strong fresh oolong tea flavor. Note in the HOT version this doesn't come with any "peach fruit" so it's pretty much hot oolong tea. Yeah only the cold version comes with "fruit tea". This may not be clear on the menu for all the hot options. Overall a nice hype new tea shoppe with freshly made teas at reasonable prices. They also sell some merchandise next to the register if you're looking for loose leave tea or just swag. No this place doesn't have tables so its not a good spot to hangout with friends or study. It's literally a grab and go place. read more

I recommend coming on weekdays as the parking in this plaza is a nightmare. You're lucky if you find maybe one or two open spots in the lot. Other than that, the interior was very nicely decorated, just a little small. They also close at 8 pm which is kind of early for a boba shop to close. I got the Pineapple Yakult drink which was very refreshing and not heavy at all. The drinks came out fast and the workers were very efficient. read more
This is my second time trying mango mango but this was my first time coming in person and ordering. The drink was around 6.50 which isn't bad since it comes with agar boba and i honestly love the difference texture of the mango pieces and the other parts of the drink. It's so refreshing and it's great for the summer. The service was really quick in making my drink as well and the place seems very clean and spacious. read more

Not a lot of seats inside for studying, and the tables are pretty small. Buttttttt the decor is so so cute!! Da hong pao chappucino is my go-to. This place used to be Tea Brick and now Cha Redefine! The interior all looks very modern and sleek, it's definitely an upgrade from what it used to be before. Although, there is no public restroom here lol. I ordered the osmanthus oolong tea with avocado cream foam cha. I never had avocado foam tbh, but this actually complemented the tea very well! It's kind of pricey for just buying tea, cause it's good quality tea but it tastes like you can get it from a dim sum restaurant or something cause it's pure tea. What makes it more special is the foam, which makes it slightly but not so much, creamier and has a different flavor profile when drinking the foam and tea together. You honestly don't really taste the avocado after drinking the two together, so don't be afraid to try that. The drinks are pretty quality here, but kind of expensive for the price and what they give you. Though, it is nice and refreshing! read more
Thoroughly impressed by the tea and everything here! The Sri Lanka milk tea is sooooo good (with added boba). I did light ice and 25% sweetness. Great flavor and perfect amount of sweetness. The sesame milk tea is also so good! Kinda reminds us of yummy desserts :) service was fast and friendly. Parking was easy in the lot. read more
Their drinks are so good!! They're still soft opening right now, but we tried a couple of their drinks since we couldn't decide on which one to try first. One of my friends love their fresh orange green tea with avocado foam and I now understand why. IT IS SO GOOD!! They have orange pulp in it too so it makes me feel healthy. I like to sip it with the foam and tea first to get that rich foam and then mix it together after. The blueberry oat milk matcha latte is so good too! Tastes like a blueberry muffin! They have really good tea too. You really taste the tea in their caffeinated drinks which I like! Staff is super friendly and have great recommendations as well! The service was fast! Got my drinks and only waited about 5 minutes. The average price of the drinks are about $5-$8 which isn't too bad. We ordered the Mango Mango and the Blueberry Oatmilk Matcha Latte. Both of these drinks were really good. I haven't tried these types of drinks before and this place offers really unique drinks! The ambiance of the place is also very inviting and clean with multiple seating spots. read more
Already been to their other locations with their bomb drinks and this one is no different! Located very conveniently in a popular plaza, they've taken over with a vibrant ambiance & their premium drinks! Despite the rush, staff was very attentive and suggesting new drinks towards my palette. While I usually get my usual Sri Lanka Latte for that roasty & creamy flavor, I enjoyed the smoothness of their Osmanthus Oolong Foam Cha as well! Buddies really enjoyed their Blueberry Matcha Oat Milk & Coco Avocado so I'll definitely be back for more! read more

Stopped at Cha Redefine with my sister (thank her for the picture she made me take a nice one). We got 2 drinks and they were delicious! The cashier was kind, offering his opinion between two drinks when I was indecisive. Don't be fooled by the line outside, it's not because the drinks are anything different or cool, but they are slow and inefficient. I feel like you can find similar drinks at other places. Although they use quality teas and the drinks are ok, it's not worth the wait. 3 or 4 employees took 15 minutes to make our drinks even though we were the first order in the rush. I felt so bad for the giant line of people waiting. They have great lighting and offer some seating, but the long wait makes it not a great place to hang out. read more
Pleasantly surprised by Cha Redefine! I needed an afternoon caffeine fix, and my boyfriend recommended this spot. Everything on the menu looked super yummy and I had a hard time deciding, but ultimately settled on the Cream Foam Matcha with vanilla sweet foam. The sweetness and ice level, like almost every other boba places, are also adjustable. The drink itself was delicious! The matcha tasted very high quality, and it was smooth and refreshing. The vanilla sweet foam added a nice touch of sweetness, but I wish I picked up a straw because all the sweet foam ended up at the bottom of my cup instead of getting mixed in with the matcha, if I had a straw. Staff were also really patient and friendly! Interior was bright and clean, with the stone benches and tree inside gave me an outdoor garden vibe. read more
We decided to give this new boba spot around us a try! The service was pretty fast, the ambiance of this boba shop is very clean and serine. I got the Osmanthus oolong cream foam (avocado) and I give it an 8/10. I think the avocado foam really compliments the tea. The black sesame foam goes well with the matcha. 7.5/10. Would definitely come back here if we're feeling like drinking something unique! read more
