We're always on the hunt to find the best beef panang and never realized this place was near us. We did take out so my review is just based on the food. Druken noodles with beef: 4/5 Very flavorful dish and full of chunky veggies which is my preference. Only thing was the noodles were too wide and needed more beef. Noodles were about two inches wide so I had to cut lots of the noodles to consume. Overall I would get this dish again. Chicken Pad Thai: 3.75/5 Pad Thai was not dry and had everything in it but the flavor just wasn't fully there. The flavor was a smidge off but it was still a decent noodle dish. Beef Panang: 4.5/5 I must say the panang here is pretty good. Lots of big veggies and beef. The sauce was delicious and paired well with the rice. Beef was thin slices so some where tender and some were a bit tough. We enjoy panang more with stew beef than slices but overall we liked the panang here. We definitely would like to return and eat in one day and try other things on the menu. Beef Panang with white rice:

It's good food for a reasonable price and has wonderful service. We came here for Sunday lunch wanting to try a new place (our family has never visited). We wanted to get some Southeast Asian cuisine. We opted for my kids and hubby's favorites: Roti, Tom Yum , and Curry. I opted for my basil stir-fry, which I always enjoy with any type of meat. This place did not disappoint. It's a little westernized Thai flavor, with the added ingredients. But I think it makes it a more filling and delicious meal.

Wanting Thai food for lunch on a late Friday afternoon nearby Dublin and San Ramon, this place pop up. It is located within a shopping area anchored by Lucky's grocery store and situated beside a drive through Starbuck. Arriving just before 2 pm, the dining room had one other diner. Lately I have been focused on trying Khao Soi at different Thai restaurants. Although this dish shares common ingredients, it is prepared differently. Here they include two good sized chicken thighs in their thick curry broth with noodles along with crispy ramen noodles on top. Though the hard noodle tasted a bit stale. I had requested the spice level to be mild, just a taste. I felt the curry broth was at a crossroad of being too salty with a hint of sweetness. I had finished it despite being too salty for my taste. Wait person was friendly but appeared rushed to get through the lunch shift. There is a 3% service fee for using credit card for the bill. So pay by cash to avoid this fee. I would consider trying other dishes should I be in the area.

The rice in the fried rice was so mushy and wet.

First time trying Cha Thai. The food had a good flavor but both the pineapple fried rice and pad thai noodles were soooo soggy. I recognize that with take out, the texture can change but this is the result of mushy rice and over cooked noodles.

We went down to San Ramon and got some boba in this area. My sister was asking me to get some food while traffic on the way home. We found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to come and try. The food are supper good, the rice fries, pad Thai were not smell any smoke like other place. Specialty, the lady was really nice and made us feel really enjoyed like we were home. Definitely, we will be back with our family.

This Thai place has been here about 1 year before Covid (2019) our server mentioned to us . Surviving Covid is huge. Next door to SUBWAY DIARY Queen and Starbucks drive thru this place has tons and tons of parking. Even though it looks like your pay upfront if your dining in you pay after your meal proper restaurant style. The lady working here was very happy go lucky, smiling and made sure our stay our first one ever was comfortable and superb . You don't get a second chance to make a first impression especially with a popular cuisine such as Thai with plentiful competition throughout the Bay Area. One thing was odd that they had the radio kinda loin with 94.9 I suggest they have like instrumental or Thai music on. The food was authentic Thai and everyone loved their meal. Not pricey at all either . They lady even insisted and took it on herself to put our leftovers in the containers for us, that's what you call service. I double the tax for tip like I usually do to make it simple and it was awesome Thai dinner. I will definitely be back . Not busy at all in a Friday night in June. Service is what stood out and complemented the overall dinner which had everyone full so we didn't order dessert on this night. I think I like it better than Andaman Thai in San Ramon but that's my personal opinion. Lastly the have Thai tea and beer and wine .

Excellent! I couldn't recommend a better Thai food place in all of the Bay Area. Delicious and fresh. The waitress was very welcoming and friendly. She kept my water glass filled the whole time and I love that. We got the Pad Thai Chicken and the Drunken Noodles with Chicken. An excellent combination of sweet and spicy. The ambience is nice but not fancy. A few booths and a bunch of tables.

Fresh spring rolls, Tom Kha (small) with chicken. Thai Beer!

The food was delicious. I had Fresh spring rolls and Tom Kha! The service was outstanding and they've added some new items to the menu.

Some of the BEST and Thai restaurants I've had the pleasure of eating at. We don't even live near San Ramon, but my wife discovered it and brought me here recently after her great experience. My top 3: the orange chicken is crispy as heck, I just love the crispiness and the tanginess of the dish. Grilled BBQ pork is simple and very flavorful marinate. Lastly the Thai style salad is a well portioned filled with nice chucks of steak mixed in with it. This is my second visit (seems like a monthly thing), the staff is very friendly and the restaurant has a kind of home feel, spacious and lastly the prices are very reasonable especially with how everything is going up in price. Definitely recommended!

    Chicken Yellow Curry

Cha Thai is a delicious, authentic Thai food spot. Today, we had the pad Thai, chicken yellow curry, and their garlic chicken wings, which were all incredibly tasty and made fresh. As for the ambiance, the place is very clean, and so are the bathrooms. The service is also great, they came to check in with us every now and then, making sure everything was okay. Overall, Cha Thai is a delicious, well kept place that we will be coming to often!

Mango sticky rice with coconut milk is not sweet and has a sour taste like it's spoiled. Can't eat it.

Integrated into downtown Hayward just a block from the theater and other eateries and drink spots, Khao Hom has made a strong impression in the local community drawing a good following for weekend brunch as well as weekday lunch. With street parking right in front as well as sharing free public parking in the lot behind the restaurant, once you've slogged through traffic to get to this area, you'll be able to easily park and venture in for your food experience. As you enter, you'll likely need to wait for one of their staff members to seat you in one of their two dining spaces. The rooms are well lit and enhance the ambiance of your meal (and photos) with natural lighting. When seated, you'll get their food and drinks menu in addition to finding their dessert menu at the table. As standard, each table gets a carafe of water for you to serve yourselves. Their menu is quite extensive in representing popular Thai flavors with a bit of flare. You'll find curries, soups, noodles and chef specialties in their own sections of the menu. They also have some alcohol infused drinks for those looking for a full brunch experience. As a novice to some Thai dishes, I did have to ask the staff to explain a bit about certain dishes, but there were a few that caught my eye and never let go. Thai tea - flavorful and bold; rich but not too sweet Matcha latte - rich matcha flavor and creamy; best sipped and can be packed in a to-go cup if you don't finish Tom yum crab omelet - beautifully crafted omurice-esque dish where you'll find white rice encased in an egg omelet topped with succulent pieces of crab meat and smothered in tom yum soup. This dish is not only a pleasure to look at but the taste and textures in each bite will have you salivating for more until the dish completely disappears. This unique take is a must get for first timers! Roti gai tod - crispy fried yet succulent chicken served with a small serving of creamy yellow curry, white rice, and a roti alongside their delicious chili sauce. Fantastic balance of textures and flavors will have your tongue dancing from the spices. Tom kha soup - a bowl of comfort with a whole lot of shredded chicken, red onions, and mushrooms with a few big quarters of fresh tomatoes. It's not as creamy as I would like but the flavor is there with its abundance in lemongrass. The portion is large as one order can easily split into two bowls. Fried ice cream - a meal topper and sweet indulgence for those looking to try something new and rarely found elsewhere. This giant meteorite of a breaded and fried ball of vanilla ice cream is topped with chocolate fudge, powdered sugar, a generous helping of whipped cream and plenty of fruit (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, grapes, and cantaloupe). Definitely shareable and a surprising star of their dessert menu - they could definitely do more to advertise this! The staff were super friendly and quick to take dirty dishes out of the way. They kept the place clean, served the food promptly and treated all of their customers with respect and smiles. Top notch crew from the front of the house to the back. Furthermore, should you need the restrooms, they do have two gender neutral rooms that were decently maintained. Overall, Khao Hom is not your everyday Thai restaurant nor is it your run of the mill brunch spot - this is a unique experience with food created out of passion to merge these together. The result is an aesthetically pleasing yet hunger extinguishing meal that will have you discovering new flavors and craving for more. With its proximity to the city center, it's a great a spot to plan out a lunch or brunch before a nice stroll around or a movie. Thai food has never looked and tasted so good!

It was really flavorful and it all came together really well for us. I think we were a bit underwhelmed with the omelette. It wasn't bad, but I expected a bit more in terms of flavor and it wasn't much to remember. The cocktails were really yummy and creative.
