We have been regular customers of this restaurant chain for years. However, over the past few visits, we've noticed a concerning trend: the prices have gone up significantly, while the portions have shrunk dramatically. A subji that used to be more than enough for two adults now barely serves one. The rasmalai pieces have become noticeably smaller, yet the prices have increased. Raising prices is understandable, but reducing quantity at the same time is not. The Hakka noodles that we usually order has dwindled in proportion, but the price has gone up! This goes beyond shrinkflation--it feels like we're paying more for much less. As loyal customers, we hope the management reconsiders these changes and restores the value and portion sizes that made us come here in the first place. read more

Historical I had issues after eating food here. We visited the restaurant to give it a try after a long time. We had mixed experience. We tried Thali and saag makki roti. Saag was really good but thali was not good. I had severe gas issue after eating thali. I have no idea what they do with food here. Service was great and ambience was good. Went out for weekday breakfast and it turned out to be such a lovely experience. We tried Rajouri Garden chole bhature and Amritsari kulcha along with coffee and chaas. Everything was delicious, but the Amritsari kulcha was the clear winner--so perfectly flaky, I enjoyed every bite. The chole with the bhature were phenomenal too. Slow weekday, terrible service, and mediocre food. We got seated and were promptly ignored for 20 minutes while our server attended to the table right next to us. When we finally flagged her down, she didn't apologize--she just gave us attitude and said, 'You should have signaled me before.' The food wasn't worth the wait, either. May 29 2026- Ordered Vegetable Biryani, Toor Daal and Garden Vegetable. All three dishes had been sprayed with Febreze or Food containers washed with Dawn Dishwashing liquid, and not thoroughly double rinsed in hot water. Food tasted like very strange vile spicy soapy melange, I garbaged two thirds of this $42 order. This was a test run of this establishment for up coming upcoming events in my community. Not coming back here. Typical of restaurant industry, once restaurants becomes a chain they forget to pay attention to food preparation. I have worked in food industry; This kind of practice calls for restaurant to be closed in order retrain cook, dishwashers and serve staff. Care need to be taken when food is made at home or at restaurants. Food should not taste or smell like dishwashing soap or Febreze. read more

Our party of 4 were seated immediately upon entering, we had just finished shopping and decided to have tea and snacks at 3:30pm on Saturday. The place was not very busy - so it was surprising that our order wasn't taken until 15 minutes after water was poured. The Bhel was lacking flavor and the puffed rice seemed rancid, the Chinese Bhel was just ok. We ordered dahi sev poori - good flavor and the Pakoras were also good, the green chutney flavorful but instead of a tamarind chutney a yellowish chutney was served which had No flavor. Filtered coffee, tea and lassis were good. What was strange to us is when we requested the empty sev poori dish to be removed, the waiter said he will send someone else to remove plate, strange? I always enjoyed Chaat Bhavan but after this visit, didn't satisfy our flavorbuds, the staff also seemed preoccupied with discussions among themselves instead of the customers, oh well there many other options. read more

Tandoori Cajun Paneer Tikka was supposed to be tasty. The spice was fine, the char was good--and then we found a hair in it. That ends the meal right there. We told the staff. They asked us to stay and offered to make a new one. No. A restaurant that cares about people does not just remake the dish. They stop service for that station, take the plates away, clean and sanitize, write up the incident, and call the health inspector. Safety first, not "try again." If you like bold flavors with surprise hair accessories, this place is for you. Everyone else: eat somewhere that respects basic hygiene and the people they serve. This is our go to spot. At our most recent visit, we decided to try something new other than our usual orders. We got the sarson ke saag & chole bature & Methi pooris, and a vada pav as appetizer. Saag was amazing! It was my first time eating it. So creamy and flavorful. Loved it! My 5 year old ate it and said 'yummy!', so that's a win! Chole bature was a slight let down, husband thought it was not up to usual standards. Something was off that day with both the chole and the batura. Methi pooris were amazing as usual. Vada pav was also SO good. Perfectly spiced potato masala and with the chilli powder/onions, was delish! I was sad that we only ordered one.
