Story time of the best service I've ever received: Honestly, I couldn't taste all the food we ordered (fries, samosa chaat, fuska) because I was suffering from a terrible migraine in the middle of the restaurant. What I tasted was great! 4/5 on taste (I'm half Bangladeshi and half Pakistani so you can trust me!) But, I absolutely have to applaud the service here. The waitresses were so kind to me once they noticed I was in pain--they dimmed the lights of the floor, kept asking after me, getting me bottled warm waters, and one even went outside to buy me medicine. I've never had service this kind and sweet--they felt like family! I can't wait to go back :)

Found this new place on Yelp and decided to stop in and try it out. It's a cute place and the staff are very accommodating. Food was very good and great to share with your significant other or friends. I had the Samosa Chaat, Butter Chicken Taco, and the Gulab Jamun. Will deff be returning with friends to try more things on the menu. Downstairs has a cool vibe with TV, lighting, a carom board, and fooseball table. Deff will return. Thank you guys.

My husband and I had lunch at Chaat Wala yesterday in Parsons Blvd, Queens and everything was so delicious. We had the fish and butter chicken tacos, fuchka (ate too quickly so no picture lol) bhel puri and the chicken tikka bowl. We also got mango lassi and a ginger mint. All items tasted so fresh and also loved the spice. I definitely need to go back, they also have a huge space downstairs with games for perfect hangout. Lastly the staff were super friendly and loved the ambiance a lot!!

I'm glad they opened this Chaat near me. I recently moved to queens and so far this is the best restaurant in queens for me. It has the best Chaat I've tired so far. The fushka was my absolute favorite. Can't wait to come back and with my friends.

This review is ONLY about the food and my experience eating here. I stumbled across this spot and stopped in because I was curious about the food since it was vegeterian and I was on a no-meat cleanse. It's a bit inconspicuous so you may not even realize it's a restaurant from the outside. That being said, it seems to be a very popular vegetarian spot in the area and has a good variety of vegetarian Indian dishes as well as Western vegetarian dishes. The spot is midsized, with a good amount of seating. The staff were very friendly and helpful with questions about the dishes. I ordered a few items - vegetables pakora, bhajia, and the Annam Brahma dinner. I also tried their chai. Overall, the food wasn't too bad and was a good portion for the price. I loved the chai and also ordered a mango lassi, which was also very tasty. The pakora and bhajia were delicious and paired well with the sauce. The Annam Brahma dinner was filling although I wish it has a bit more seasoning. Overall, this is a good spot for vegetarian food if you're in the neighborhood and looking for a good vegetarian spot.

We were told minutes after ordering that the lamb would be from a different cut but that didn't bother us; there was a bit of a wait for it though. We took this as a indicator of how freshly made the Boti dish would be. It was well seasoned and it was a great serving size. The Goat Korma, while a smaller serving, had some kick and went well with the rice and Plain Paratha/Tandoori Roti. I'd eat here again. They did these meats well.

Delivery order This…read morewas a miss. While the order was on time and the driver was courteous the restaurant will not be getting more business from me. They got 2 parts of the order wrong. The worst was the drink. I paid EXTRA for strawberry lemonade. Not only was there no strawberry, it wasn't even lemonade. It dusty colored cold water that tasted like someone added a teaspoon of lemon concentrate. No sweetness, barely any flavor at all. Just a weak hint of fake lemon. Definitely no strawberries. The food itself was not great. Just meh. The lamb vindaloo was the only thing with any character. I think there were 4 small cubes of lamb and 3 small potato cubes. I know it's a lunch portion, but dang. They didn't skimp on the sauce though. Everything was drowning in sauce. I've never had thin tomato soup before, but the flavor was OK. I might try those ingredients myself at home with some Campbell's - and a heavier hand. At least it was piping hot. The one thing I really liked was the naan! It was soft and warm and tasted like it had just been made. This was a $20 order, I expected a lot better. I didn't think the bread would be the star of this show.

Nanking - A Perfect Spot for Layovers (or Locals)!…read more When my in-laws had a long layover at JFK, we decided to meet them for dinner, and Nanking turned out to be a fantastic choice. As a Brooklyn local, I hadn't explored many restaurants near JFK, and found slim pickings for Chinese or Thai food by the airport. First off, the ambiance is good--booth seating along the walls and a welcoming, authentic vibe. I was a bit skeptical at first about the large menu (Indian, Thai, and Chinese?!) because that's often a red flag. But, spoiler alert: Nanking proved me wrong! What we ordered: * Navaratan Korma: Super fresh veggies, rich and flavorful. As someone who makes this at home, I was impressed! * Lamb Korma: Delicious, tender, and full of depth. * Naan: A little thinner than usual but still tasty, especially paired with the curries. * Hot and Sour Soup: the in-laws finished their bowl. * Fish Curry: when my FIL ordered this we had a mini-panic that it wouldn't be fresh given the large menu and not apparent seafood focus -- bad fish ahead of a international flight seems worth avoiding at all costs -- but our server was quick and confident with her assertion the fish was fresh and I stood corrected! FIL reported back that it was flavorful, fresh and not overly creamy. * Butter Chicken: A weekly favorite of a diner sitting near us who gave it high praise, and the MIL reported she was right. (Her tip: Pair it with garlic naan--A+ advice!) The drink deals were great, and the prices overall were super reasonable. The only downside was the timing--our food took about 30 minutes, and the drinks were slow too. But with a party of 20 arriving at the same time as us, it's understandable. (And kudos to the menu for being upfront: "Let us know if you're in a hurry.") In short, Nanking is a gem for anyone looking for authentic flavors near JFK. My in-laws left happy, and if the situation presents itself again well definitely be back.

At week's end for a very weary Saturday, I could not move my body to get out to attain brunch but decided to give delivery the o' college try. Food does not contain any substance. Nanking had the audacity to inquire why I want to cancel my second separate delivery order. It was created in error! Grubhub automatically include: tax, tip, delivery fee, and service fee. I called Nanking to cancel this chicken Manchurian order who instructed me to directly contact Grubhub for cancelling because Nanking has no ability to cancel as this order originated from Grubhub. Delivery was approximately 45 minutes eternal wait timeline. I have no plans for a return delivery order nor a in-person visit dining experience. Oh, hell NO!! Steamed shrimp dumplings, haa1 gaau2 蝦餃, $10.99 These dumplings were average and was accompanied with excessive high sodium content soy sauce to raise high blood pressure increasing the risk of heart disease and possibly stroke. Vegetable noodle soup $7.50 Very minimal noodles content but heavy concentration of vegetables. It was heavily swimming in clear broth. The broth was not salty.
