By far best thai food I've had. Sad to say this place usually isn't all that busy but the staff is incredibly friendly and inviting and the food is always so fresh and so delicious. Big menu with so many options (Vegetarian&Vegan friendly!) for everyone. My favorite thing here is there spring rolls with a super yummy sauce and the pad thai veg. I personally don't eat sushi but my family are big sushi eaters and this is there favorite place ever to get sushi (sweet potato roll) Great for takeout but the inside dining has a nice vibe. Delicious! I had the veggie drunken noodle and my partner had the veggie pad thai. The drunken noodle was great! Best I've had in a while. The chili garlic sauce was very tasty and had just the right amount of spiciness, although I was expecting a bit less kick since it was labeled with one out of three chili pepper symbols. My partner enjoyed the pad thai and noted that the veggies tasted fresh. Both dishes came steaming hot out of the kitchen and we could hear the sizzle of the pan earlier. The decor of this place is lovely - a mix of sleek furniture mixed with a homey hand-painted colorful feel. I don't usually comment on decor, but this place was just too visually appealing to me. We were even seated in this semi-private two-person nook with a window, which was great. Service was happy and fine, and the bathroom was clean. Prices were reasonable, and we were very happy that they had vegetarian/vegan entrees. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back to try their other menu items. read more

Had higher expectations for the food. Spring roll was nicely cooked and crispy. Pad thai was much too sweet (read previous review saying the same so specifically asked for less sauce). I admit, when we first started coming to the area, it was difficult finding a decent one between here and philly. If I could give Chaba Thai no stars I would. I did not taste the food. I was not given a menu after 20 minutes, was not given a water glass, was not even acknowledged even after trying to get hostesses attention. Looking around, all tables around us did not have any plates of food. A girl who came in for takeout had trouble with her order and was waiting almost as long as we were to get a menu. Finally we saw a plate of food come out and they didn't even know who it belonged to. Language was definitely a barrier. I honestly don't know where all the positive reviews are coming from. The vegetarian options at this restaurant are great! I love spicy food and their red and green veggie curries with tofu are fantastic! My friend got the pad thai and was very happy with it. My husband and I went here last night and it was fantastic! We have visited other Thai restaurants in the area and Chaba Thai is by far the best. We each ordered the Thai Iced Tea which was delicious and so flavorful. We then had the Tom Kha soup. He had his with shrimp and mine had chicken. Both versions were excellent. A combination of coconut milk and lime with just the right amount of spice. For our entrees I ordered the Green Curry with seafood and my husband ordered the Red Curry Duck from their specials menu. The Green Curry with seafood was great and I ordered it medium spiced and it definitely had some kick to it. The flavors in this dish were exceptional and there was a nice amount of seafood with the vegetables. The Red Curry Duck was amazing. The hostess/waitress recommended this dish and we could see why. The food at this place is excellent!! I went for lunch and had a fantastic meal at a super reasonable price. Their noodle dishes are really flavorful and tasty...nothing bothers me more than a bland pad thai when I go out to eat! The portions are generous and same for the drinks. Superb thai iced tea. Sushi is gone, the Thai food is still there, and quality seems to be comparable to other mid-level Thai restaurants, while it is a little more expensive compare to similar restaurants in New York City or Philadelphia. Went to try Thai food for first time. Since I cannot make a comparison to other Thai restaurants I can only tell you that what we had was delicious and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Very small seating area but very comfortable. Service was fast and waitress was very pleasant . Also very nice was each item on. The menu was very descriptive,explaining each platter.. We ordered the calamari appetizer which was good,different from any other I've ordered,,but the dipping g sauce was incredibly delicious,which made up for the bland flavor. I ordered the Seafood Paradise which was awesome with a great spicy bite . Everything on the plate from the mussels ,shrimp, octopus, and vegetables, were fresh & crisp . My wife ordered the Honey duck....all I can say was the BEST I've ever had , anywhere . A definite reorder the next time I go .
