Located in the depths of Redlands, this new boba establishment is quite dainty. Ordered a regular sized Sea Cream Caramel MT w/ Boba ($3.75 with free Yelp Check-In Topping) and regular sized Sea Cream Taro MT w/ Egg Pudding ($3.75 with check-in topping offer). The Caramel MT wasn't as sweet as I though it would be, which is great since some other boba tea shops put too much caramel syrup. I highly suggest getting one of the sea cream drinks since it adds a nice hint of salty flavor to mix with the sweet tea. The cream also adds a fresh buttery flavor upon gulping the drink. The boba was right on point, not too chewy and not too hard. Just the right texture and sweetness. The Taro MT was a bit lack luster due to the abundance of ice added in addition to the pudding, which takes up a lot of mass. So the actual liquid volume for the Taro MT was like only a third of the cup. The Taro was delicious and lightly sweet with a hint of that Taro taste. Again, the sea cream added a nice salty taste. The egg pudding was a mistake and tastes plain. I would suggest they make a conscious effort to add less ice if someone orders a drink with egg pudding. It would be a nice customer service gesture or else you would just have to remember to request for light ice in your drink instead. read more

It's so great to have a boba place in town, finally! The service is great and really accommodating, even when they were still working out the kinks during their soft open-- they were quick to fix the order and offer recommendations as well. I've had the peach tea and mango tea with boba and both were great. The honey boba is the perfect texture (I hate when it's too hard or too smushy). This is the new go to place in Redlands for my friends and I! I don't usually like boba, but I sampled their honey boba and actually liked it. I won't be using their straws and boba to regress back to my childhood of spit wad wars with my brothers. The first time I came here I went straight for the matcha frappe. I am very addicted to the Korean coffee place versions, and sadly I'm always disappointed when I try a place out here. Their matcha frappe is very good! It's not the same presentation, but the flavors are the same. It's not too sweet and you can taste the green tea in every sip. I've also sampled their milk tea and the almond frappe. I've liked everything I've tried, but I have to admit that I'm very hooked on the almond frappe and may have now gotten my parents hooked on it as well. That's been my go to drink here every time I come. It's very refreshing and I love how they actually use almonds in the blend. The staff is all very nice. I'd beware of walking to the shop from the parking lot though, there have been a number of near misses. One Mercedes in particular almost got me, but I teased the person who was behind the wheel when I saw them arrive at Chaca. We had a good laugh and I've been assured he'll be more cautious in the future. I have been coming here on and off for years, but recently found myself in love with their drinks once again. I have to say, out of all the boba places I have gone to, Chaca has the quickest service by far. I ordered once and right as I finished paying, my drink was already ready! The workers are very nice and patient if you have any questions or want recommendations. I also find Chaca's location to be convenient and easy to pickup. Overall, a great boba place! I've been looking for boba places in the Inland Empire. I have tried Ten Ren and Boba Fiend Tea House. By far the best boba I found was Chaca Tea Bar. It has the a great tasting tea flavor with boba that are made just right. I would definitely come back if it wasn't a 20-25 minute drive from Riverside. But it was totally worth the drive, if you are craving for great boba tea. I highly suggest trying it if you are in the area. Stopped by after eating at Naan Café. It's a fairly small shop with few tables and bar seating. Got the Honeydew Green Milk Tea and was pretty disappointed to say the least. Not only was it a pretty mediocre tasting drink but the boba on the bottom had a unappetizing warmth along with a bunch of tapioca residue on the bottom. That said, I thought the prices were great (much cheaper than Boba Tea House)! Granted, this is was only one drink and hopefully I'll get a chance to try their other options in the future and have a better experience. Until then, Boba Tea House is still the go-to. Great new boba spot near my work. The spot to stop for a pick me up to get me through the rest of the day. Don't forget to check in for the boba to be free. Chaca tea bar is a good Boba bar in Redlands California. I like going here because there is always parking, free parking, outside of the restaurant. There are also other restaurants and grocery stores nearby. On Monday nights they have a certain flavor tea and it's one dollar for the drink. I always recommend going for that because you can try new flavors for a cheap price to see if you like it. The staff is very friendly, I have, past the time where they give the one dollar Boba drinks and they still serve me and were very nice about it. The Thai tea with Boba is my favorite drink.
