Surprisingly good. The service was a bit slow compared to other boba shops, but the drink was definitely worth it. Puff Cream Milk Tea- I got this drink at 70% sweetness and it absolutely perfect. Usually when I get this drink, it is too sweet and feels heavy, but the combination of the refreshing milk tea and the sweet/salty puff cream was amazing. It was the best Puff Cream Milk Tea I've ever tried so far. Overall, I definitely recommend this drink at this store. Don't forget to get the drink at 70% sweetness! read more

Very refreshing and yummy teas. I got the pineapple mango tea with basil seeds at 70% sugar, still a tab bit sweet but you can really taste the jasmine tea and the pineapple. Order via kiosk and drinks prepared. Will need to come back and try other drinks. read more

I ordered two dragon mango with lemon juice green teas and it was very disappointing . My mom and I both drank two sips and couldn't drink the rest. It tasted very artificial and too sweet even with 50% sugar. I could only taste flavored water and no tea. I was quite sad on my 1 hour drive home. read more

Here I go again on another mission for the best milk tea every city I visit. 99% Tea House is in a plaza next door to a restaurant and there is a massive liquor store at the corner that was getting a lot of action. We went in mid-day, so there was no line. We ordered 3 drinks and they were ready real quick. The service was great and the drinks were also really good. I like my boba a little on the softer side, and since theirs wasn't as soft, I knocked off one star. All in all, still a good boba spot. read more

99% Teahouse is one of my go-to spots that's kinda close to my house. I usually get the Okinawa Milk tea with egg pudding, but today I decided to try something different. I got a mango sago and a tiger sugar boba fresh milk with oolong tea. Tiger sugar boba fresh milk with oolong tea was a bit disappointing. If I was to guess the drink based off taste, I would have guessed that it was a basic, black milk tea. Out of the two drinks, mango sago was my drink of the day! It's always refreshing and had a perfect sweetness level for me! I would recommend the Okinawa milk tea w/ egg pudding, 30% sweetness or the mango sago! I had a virtual gift card for this place, but I couldn't use it there.. weird. The upside is the milk based drinks are soooo good, very smooth and silky. I enjoyed my taro puff at 50% sugar. They recommend half sugar, 75%ice for their drinks. I'm excited to try the other drinks, they have unique things like hot flavored lattes and ein spanner! I also had a oreo croffle but I don't recommend it - it wasn't warm which means it wasn't freshly made like the ones at Tamper Room (albeit cheaper than Tamper Room). It was dense, the saving grace was that the frosting on top was nutty and wonderful. Their flavors seem to be on point. read more

Went there on Saturday around 5pm, no line but few people waiting for their orders. We placed order at the kiosk then waited for 20mins. After 20mins, we asked about our order and they couldn't even find our cup!! After asking, they took another 5 mins to make our drink. Staff seemed extremely unorganized, the food seems to come out quickly but no one was working on the drinks. 3 people working during the time, empty cups everywhere, seems like they're making drinks in random orders. Oh did I mention EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED? Our drink was mid, service was poor, won't be returning. read more

The girl who works there is very rude and has a terrible attitude. Already the place closes at 9pm, asked for the Dubai Chocolate Croffle at 8:20 pm and informed in a very rude response by the girl who works there that they stop serving the Dubai Chocolate Croffle at 8pm (1 hour before closing), how ridiculous for a store that closes at 9pm, it they closed at midnight, I could understand if they stopped serving it 1 hour before closing, but at 8pm, what a joke!!! We walked out with the girl's rude customer service, I have a couple of the same comments from other's regarding the girl's bad attitude. Someone needs to take notice! read more

I've visited ChaChaCha twice in the last month for their einspanner coffee, which is a delightfully creamy coffee to enjoy in the afternoon. We also tried the dalgona coffee which was good, but the einspanner better suits my palate :) The Oreo sesame croffle was surprisingly delightful and I would totally get it again. Both times the customer service has been very friendly and communicative, and they also have online ordering which is so helpful. Theres a few chairs and a bench to sit while you wait for your beverage but other than that, no seating for guests to spend time there. read more

Not a place to go out of my way to get. staff was completely unorganized, seems the manager/owner was busy either in a personal call on the store phone or FaceTiming on her personal phone to get the food orders done quickly and in a timely manner, or even correct for that matter. I ordered the 10 Won Ppang (cheese and corn), took well over 15-20 min to get my food and it was WRONG. I was given the bacon and cheese. Can you imagine if I was someone that does not eat pork for religious reasons? And of course we didn't discover this until way after we left! Completely unacceptable. Our drunks were subpar, I've have better boba. Would not and will not go out of my way or even think of coming back. read more

First, I want to say to 4 stars are four top notch nothing was wrong loved my items stars. I really liked that little place. The people, very nice and it smelled wonderful in there. I got a tea for my kid and that was going to be it but... a smell like nothing but wonderful goodness hit me. A puff pastry thing. I had to get it and I want four more NOW. Now.. the start missing is due to the location. I did not feel safe at 8:00pm. Multiple people drinking in parking lot, playing loud (horrible) music from their cars and people hanging on each other singing. It was like in the middle of the street in some cowboy town a 100 years ago. Unfortunately Fremont is going down hill fast. I highly recommend this place during the day. Happy to have found my new favorite boba spot! It was my first time trying Chachacha and I loved it. They have a great selection of drinks. I got the tiger black milk tea with boba. The employees were kind and the service was quick. They were generous with the amount of boba and I appreciate that. It's so hard to find good boba tea spots and this one is one of my top 3 now! I always get the brown sugar (aka tiger) fresh milk wherever I go, and this spot does it right. I've been getting it with 25-50% sweetness and it's still really sweet, but it's so tasty and they even top it with cocoa powder (I think?) but it works and makes the drink taste even better! read more

I like their service. It's mainly everything from their friendliness, service with a smile and attention to detail. My daughter, who is the self-proclaimed 'boba queen', was of course looking for a boba fix and also happened to be craving a mille crepe cake (layered crepe cake). Searched on Yelp and that's when I'd found 99% Tea House. I'd called just to ensure that they did in fact have some crepe cake before deciding to go. Whomever it was who answered the phone was truly delightful in tone. She was polite and gave me a list of the different flavors they'd offered. I was quick to visit after that. It's nice to have a small local business with owners/employees who display pride in their work. The shop itself itself inviting with a fairytale themed mural across one wall and a fair amount of seating & music to entertain you if you stay. Shop is small; but clean! Came here since I was In the area and this places looked good. They have lots of drinks to choose from and same with some desserts. Drinks were good. You order by kiosk here. Ordered the waffle as well but they were out of the batter so didn't get to try it. Lots of parking and it is in a plaza. Visited this boba tea place because I was in the area and craving some boba. It was rated well so I wanted to give it a shot. I ordered a jasmine milk tea (no ice and 70% sweet). I should have gotten sommeeee ice in it because it was very much room temperature haha and maybe a bit more sweet. Regardless of that, the boba was pretty good and so was the tea itself. I could really taste the jasmine flavor which made it that much better. The shop itself is very minimalistic and there were quite a few people waiting to get their drinks. Despite that we didn't have to wait long to get our drink! I would probably come back and try it again with ice and with more sweetener. But overall I did enjoy it! read more

Matcha with salted cheese half sugar and ice is a good option! Boba is great and goes along with it. They are open during shelter in place for walk-in, phone order, or Grubhub. The other reviews for customer service don't seem too great, which I can understand during this time. Make sure they take your order correctly. read more

So pleasantly happy that we stumbled upon this boba shop!! My family and I were going to eat at the Burmese restaurant and saw this boba place in the same plaza. So glad we decided to stop by after our lunch! We ordered a bunch of drinks including the matcha mango, passionfruit jasmine green tea, French milk tea pudding. All of them were so good! Wish I took a picture to show y'all lol, but we drank them too quick . Service was quick! And the shop owner also was there and greeted us. Such a friendly guy . My favorite place to get bubble tea. Service is always quick and friendly! My favorite item on the menu is matcha strawberry with boba. We have also tried their panda milk (no tea) which is absolutely heavenly. They have a lot of fun combos that you can select from, in addition to the usual suspects in a bubble tea menu. Plenty of parking in front of the shop and a couple of restaurants to pick up food from if needed. Highly recommend! read more

Came here with a friend last night after getting sushi at Mioki because it had pretty good ratings on Yelp and was nearby! Got the puff cream milk tea with boba, 30 ice 30 sugar Pros: - easy parking - in the plaza with a pretty good Korean place next door - Decent milk tea, 30-30 felt perfect and it wasn't too sweet - pretty good service, felt like the drinks came out in a timely manner - Decently clean bathroom - although you do walk through like all their storage area to get to it (one stall only) - okay sitting space - kind of small, so if you get a small table near the cash register it becomes kind of like a cluster if there's a lot of people in line Cons: - my friend and I weren't big fans of the boba - it wasn't really soft or squishy, it was the kind of boba that was soft on the outside but felt semi crunchy on the inside - wasn't a fan - The little power banks on each table DO NOT WORK - what a tease Other thoughts: Sad how expensive boba is nowadays, but unfortunately the $4.50 is kind of normal compared to all the other places that are nearby. A little gem stone discovered ! Yay ! As a fellow boba enthusiast or just any Asian tea place really, I'm always on the lookout for small boba/tea places because they all have their own little twist to things. At this tea place, they offer more desserts such as their matcha crepe cake which was nothing short of heaven on my taste buds! It was perfect! I also ordered a passion fruit black tea with lychee jelly and it was the perfect amount of sweetness (without me telling them of any adjustments ) I usually don't like my drinks overly sweet especially when I add toppings because then it'll just be unbearable to drink. However, this place surprised me because they were able to create a good balance for that. Overall: 9/10 I'm definitely coming back for more matcha crepe cakes ! read more

Solid boba place in Fremont with affordable and unique drinks with most items being $5 or less. They have a wide selection to pick from- smoothies, teas, milkies, sago, milk tea, etc. Selection of toppings is also not bad- they have crema, pudding, regular boba, popping boba, grass jelly, red bean, etc. I just wished that they also had jelly toppings (such as strawberry hearts and mango star) that I love. For those that want more sweets, they also have taro balls, crepe cakes (which is a bit pricey at $10.50 to $12.99 per slice), and egg puffs. Drink wise, my fave go to is the Dalgona Coffee. I keep on going back for more. Just sucks that I couldn't place my order online today for it; not sure why the order wasn't manually confirmed. Had to go in person. And while the drink I got today was decent (8/10), it was a little "watered" down for my liking. Needed a bit more instant coffee. Just wasn't strong enough for my taste buds. All in all, I would recommend this boba shop. I'm eager to come back to try the Kiwi Green Tea; it looks very appealing with the addition of basil seeds! To conclude, it's a local mom and pop shop that churns out consistent high quality product for very CHEAP prices. A good spot to satisfy your boba cravings. Just don't expect premium quality that you get from Yi Fang and other more high end pricier shops. read more

3/6/2023: please update your hours to the correct ones (7:45pm Monday-Thurs and 8:45pm Fri-Sun) so you do not waste your customers' time. this was one of my favorite spots to go to but it does not make sense to me why the hours are not accurate on the Yelp page. My daughter ordered the nutella milk tea and enjoyed it, it wasn't that as sweet as you would expect, a bit chocolate in flavor but the distinct nutella flavor. I ordered the Panda Toffee Caramel Milk Tea @ 50% and it was surprisingly good, the caramel was present but it was balanced, the toffee was more of a hint, so overall, it wasn't super sugary - woohoo! Can't wait to try out something else next time! read more

I barely do reviews but I think 99% tea house deserves one. I was surfing through the internet looking for boba shops near my house and I found this place. I talked to my friends about it and we decided to try it out. The first drink I ordered was a mango smoothie, but I didn't read the menu stating that smoothies were milk base. I was talking to my friends about how stupid I was and one of the staffs heard me. He asked if there was anything wrong with the drink and he offered to make another drink. I said no but I was really thankful he was kind enough to think about what the customers thought. As time went on, this place became my main hang out spot. We started of going once a week and it slowly became a daily routine unless we couldn't hang out. One thing I like about this tea house is that their environment is really warm which makes it easier for me to get homework done and it just feels comfortable to hang out with friends there. I can barely concentrate at home because of my little cousin that I love but Is uncontrollably so he is always fooling around and barging into my room. Another thing I like about this place is how all the staffs are friendly, openly and closed. Their drinks taste really natural, and isn't like other boba areas where they add a lot of artificial flavoring. This milk tea was extremely disappointing. There was a visible layer of residue at the bottom, making the drink gritty and unpleasant. I took one sip and simply could not continue drinking it. What made the experience worse was the attitude of the staff member with red hair. When I politely asked if the drink could be remade due to the quality issue, she insisted that I would have to pay again. I find this completely unreasonable, considering the drink was clearly not prepared properly and was undrinkable after just one sip. My daughter loves bubble tea. She has gotten my wife and I to try it out and I must say that I really am starting to like it to. This place is great because of the selection of flavors and snacks. If you don't want bubble tea they also have other things like ice cream and frozen yogurt so it's a win-win when you have a group with different preferences. There is a $10 minimum to use a card, so bring cash with you or get ready to order some add-ons to reach the minimum.
