i was coming here again with family members yesterday. not sure what time exactly they should close the store but yelp and google say 10:00pm. came here around 08:00pm. as usual order through kiosk and then sit, waiting the order. once we got our orders, we ate and talked. to be honest, all tables were kind of dirty or sticky. we just cleaned it by ourselves. we ate slowly and talked to each other because my aunt will go back the next day. suddenly around 09:00pm, a staff ( young lady ) wiped empty tables ( tables that not being used by any customers ) and put the chairs on top of those tables, showing that not allow to be used by customers. i asked her what time the store will close??? she said 10:00pm and suddenly another staff turned off some of the lights. at that hour, around 09:00pm, many customers came and some would like to sit but not allowed. i changed the star to one for the service while the desserts are always great. i suggest written store close at 10:00pm but last order is at 09:00pm or just turn off the kiosk at 09:00pm. i do understand that staffs need to leave or tired or want to go home but i will say doing like that is kind of impolite while customers are still coming... read more

The inside is more self service for ordering, the menus are on two screens and you can just scroll through and select your items. They seem pretty busy so they get lots of orders , i would say expected wait time would be at least 10 minutes especially if you are going after lunchtime. Ordering was easy at a walk up kiosk, and there was plenty of seating. Our order came out quickly, and I was shocked by how big the size large is (all servings are medium or large). The large can easily be split into 3-4 servings. The shaved ice was smooth and creamy, and the toppings were super fresh! It hit the spot. There's a handwashing station and water station that come in handy when you're cleaning up and need to hydrate afterwards. After parking in the spacious lot and entering the building, I headed to the self service kiosks as it seems they were short-staffed and weren't operating the typical registers. As mentioned before, having more defined pictures of each ingredient would have been nice on the electronic ordering system. I ended up having to flip my eyes between the posters and physical menus at the kiosk to decipher what my tastebuds were craving. I had a challenging time deciding what to get since their special combos and deals definitely looked enticing but I wasn't looking to feast during this visit. I ended up settling on getting the osthmanthus tofu pudding shaved ice bowl and took advantage of the egg waffle that came with an additional 3 dollars. As I waited for my order to be completed, I took a look inside the huge dining area that was nearly empty at this time except for an older couple also awaiting their order. It was pretty quiet but I was out of there shortly. The staff were quick and friendly. The mochi egg waffle was crispy yet chewy from the tapioca flour used to make it. The chocolate sauce found inside was scrumptious. The portion was decent and definitely shareable. The tofu pudding was premade but was refreshing. It was only slightly sweet and paired really well with the "soup" base. The other chewy bites were great complements as well but after halfway through, it does get a bit old. Highly recommend to share! Meet Fresh has an online app which can be used to place orders and also has a rewards system that allows you to earn and redeem points for discounts. On your birthday, they also gift you points equivalent of 3 dollars which gets you about half a drink, which to me isn't worth a trip specifically for the birthday freebie. It's still a nice gesture though so if you're a frequent visitor and a fan, be sure to sign up! Overall, Meet Fresh is a great place to satisfy your craving for classic Asian desserts like red bean soup, grass jelly, tofu pudding, almond/sesame soup. The prices are relatively high due to the portion size and variety of ingredients you'll be having in your dessert meal. With their deals and combos, bring a friend and you'll be dining with value! Come during non-peak times and you'll be able to order in peace and at least won't have to wait too long for your order. This Meet Fresh location is in the Pacific Commons Shopping Center. Parking may be hit or miss, as this is a pretty busy plaza, especially on weeknights and weekends, but there is usually more parking further away. All self-service, ordering is through one of the kiosks, then you wait for them to call out and place your order on the counter - they are not that consistent calling out your order, so you may have to ask several times. Service is not the greatest - employees are not that helpful here, they usually just stay behind the counter to fulfill the orders, but not available to answer questions, even when you are waving them down, it may take a lot of effort to finally get someone to stop to help you. Even when the shop was basically empty (2 people ahead of us (same group)) on a weekday, it took my friend and me 30 - 40 minutes to just get a couple of desserts and drinks. When we came back on a weekend, it was busier and took us over an hour for just 2 desserts, and they stopped calling out orders, so everyone was just confused and going back and forth to see if their orders were done. Our order was sitting behind the counter with a bunch of orders that were done for who knows how long and our order was wrong, but we just took the L. We just took our order and left because of how busy it was and not worth the hassle to try to get it fixed, which was a bummer, as they were obviously short staffed for a busy weekend. I usually do not like their drinks here, but decided to give it another try - I tried their Fresh Milk Jasmine Green Tea and Jasmine Green Tea. Both drinks were super bitter even with regular sweetness, and was eh. My usual go to I would get here is their Icy Grass Jelly Signature without the grass jelly shaved ice, so just the grass jelly and taro balls with a creamer on the side. Unfortunately my party and I had a pretty terrible experience with this location. We ordered a shaved iced item but unfortunately they didn't have any which was fine and understandable. As we requested a refund the worker said that another customer had the same order AND order number who also requested a refund (and received it) which meant we weren't able to get one which honestly doesn't make sense. We asked for a cash refund but apparently they don't take cash even though I saw their cash register with cash inside it. We were given the option to just get other menu items, we weren't interested in anything else so we are deciding to just dispute the payment with the bank.
