We visited Chacho's before I checked the reviews on line. It was kind of confusion the first timer. It is a self serve type restaurant. You place your order at the counter and they will call you number when it is ready. It was very crowed on the Monday afternoon which is a good sign. We had the Margarita, beef fajitas gorditas and beef enchilada plate. They were all very good. They price is so reasonable. They have live band playing around quarter after 7 at that day which is even better. My husband almost didn't want to leave. this is a good place to have an eating contest because the portions are huge. I had the chickenburrito, yes it was big but whatever they used as far as the tortilla wasn't the greatest. Once you've had California Mexican food, you will know the difference. THe king Kong nachos was definitly worth the hype that I've been hearing about although it would of been much better if they laid out all the toppings on top of the nachos instead of just mostly cheese. The chips were cold and greasy, the queso was congealed and the creamy salsa verde was so salty that you couldn't eat it at all! It was a total miss and disappointment today! I hadn't been here in 7 years and I'm glad to say Chacho's is as awesome as I remember. The selling point for this place is their nachos. You can't find a better deal on nachos anywhere. The first time I went I was on a date and wanted the largest order, thinking a Medium wouldn't be enough. I'm so glad the staff informed me of the size of their nachos. Fast forward 7 years and myself and fellow brother with a gargantuan stomach got the Large nachos and we could not finish them. So, $13ish dollars for the nachos is a steal if you want to feed four people. We also got a full size quesadilla which was great and a steal for $9. If you want a lot of good food for cheap then this is your spot. The only negative I see to this place is sometimes it isn't squeaky clean. Consider that this is a popular spot with the drunk crowd given its 24 hour operation. This issue in no way affects the food, at least in my experience. If you go during the day this won't be an issue. So, get your stomachs ready! read more

Went here for lunch, after getting my order wrong twice they FINALY bring me my enchiladas, I take my first bite and it was just mush! I had gotten really bad food poisoning from eating at this location. I had ordered the shredded chicken burrito and i was up all that night vomiting and having the runs. I don't know if its a part of the training or the background check for the cooks but make sure that they know how to properly wash their hands and properly use clean ingredients when cooking the food. My daughter and I went there for lunch today. It had been years since I've been there. My daughter was craving the Taco Norteno which they served with guacamole, not with slices of avocado. Let me start by saying that I went to two wonderful establishments over the last few days. Shouts out to Irish Pub and I10 Ice House. Chacho's did NOT make my list. I've been here a thousand times. It ALWAYS smells like urine and burnt fajitas...that doesn't bother me. What bothered me was the woman who took our drink orders out right stole from me. I ordered a margarita and she charged me for 1800. Because I'd been here so many times before, I specifically asked about the up charge and she lied and told me they, "changed that to the basic margarita." Hmmm. I'm not sure what these people are doing to their employees to convince them that dirty restrooms, stinky dining rooms, and poor service is worth stealing for. We all know the food is mediocre. But with so many awards for "best margarita" is it necessary to steal from people for an extra dollar? read more

This location is one of the most unprofessional establishments I have been to. The overall demeanor of the staff is very rude. Asking a question about anything gets you a snarky remark and a bad attitude. Nobody seems to know the answer to any questions and they speak about customers in front of other customers.
